Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. Thank you very much for your time.
Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them).
Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy.
Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).
Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning!
Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures.
Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement.
It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them.
(19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad)..
God said : Say, “We believe in Allah, and in what was revealed to us, and in what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus, and in what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We do not differentiate between any of them. And to Him, we surrender.”
      (2:136 / Translated by Community)

The law you know today is a combination of the three laws. It is known as the compound law (hukum majemuk). So to say that indonesia does not use islamic law is equally wrong. This is just common sense, because after all, the role of islamic scholars is very large on the independence of indonesia, so surely they will more or less influence the law.

Im also arab and when i heard the are arab muslims more superior than non arab muslims my answer was no because superiority is haram in islam because all people are equal because when a person thinks they are more superior than someone they think theyre better than them which is also haram. In islam there is this story that will happen in the day of judgement im not gonna say all of it because i didnt memorise all of it but there will be a shiekh (a muslim pastor) who was faithful and a good muslim but he went to hell, do you know why? Because when he was teaching people about islam, he always thought that he was better than them; "They always come to me, they know nothing about islam but i know everything". Acting as if you are superior than somebody is a grave sin in islam and it is considered haram. The prophet PBUH bought slaves then released them immediately because we have no rights to degrade a human and treat them worse than us because at the end of the day we are also human.

      Salam (Peace) ----------------

What are you on about? Islam is definitely a closed minded religion that has a class system- it is literally baked into it that anybody who isn’t Muslim is considered second and even third class: ie a Dihmmi! (Ie inferior) And must pay a Jizya. In most Muslim countries non Muslims to this day are persecuted! Hack most Muslim countries expelled their Jewish population (some going back 2000-2500+ years old- so millennias older than Islam).
They have destroyed numerous indigenous cultures as they Arabized and forced Islam upon them.
And no it is a complete flat out lie Muslim love to patronage, there was no “living together peacefully” in colonized Israel under Islam rule! Jews were treated horribly by their Muslim colonizers! They were literally expelled to the outskirts of the land to areas the Arab and Muslim conquerors did not want to live in. Arabs literally build a damn mosque on top of the ruins of Jewish temple (something they did in every place they colonized to erase the local culture).
There is such thing as Islamophobia- phobia is an irrational fear. There is nothing irrational about seeing islam for what it is- a religion that preaches superiority and advocates to harm anyone who doesn’t bend to its will.

The worst part is this rule is written into our constitution so couples have to go through the legal paperwork. She got triggered and said things like we just follow the rules, if you can’t sacrifice your religion, you don’t deserve your partner.
No offense but in my eyes, Islam lacks of tolerance when it comes to coexisting with other religions. It feels like the religion stopped evolving or improvising as time changes, or I should say the preaches?

You do realise common sense is different for everyone, right? It isn't innate, but it is learned-an application of practical knowledge, basically. You said Islam is intolerance of other faiths, yet refute yourself, expressing gratitude for your freedom to practice your faith in a Muslim-majority country, the very religion you accuses of intolerance. I can't speak of your intention, but you really came off as ignorant. Succinct to say, you don't have a basis for your claim and are now jumping goalposts.

3:55 Correction, Malaysian law is a combination of Islamic law, civil law, and customary law. The Federal Constitution is the supreme law in Malaysia. There are two court systems: civil courts and Sharia courts. Sharia courts handle matters related to Islamic law for Muslims, while civil courts address general legal issues. Sharia law primarily applies to the Muslim population, governing personal and family matters such as marriage, divorce, and inheritance. Each state in Malaysia has its own Sharia laws administered by state Islamic Religious Departments. Sharia law does not have jurisdiction over non-Muslims, and civil law is applied to them in matters outside the scope of Sharia.
    Edit;
Also the laws that apply to native populations, particularly those in East Malaysia (Sabah and Sarawak), are known as native customary laws or adat laws. These laws govern various aspects of indigenous communities' lives, including land rights, inheritance, marriage, and dispute resolution.

The christians ánd the muslims all answered; 'Yes, No and No!' with loads of insults and the leftover 5 girls (2 of them had been raped, one had had an abortion and the rest wasn't religious) just sortof stared into the distance.

@@goatribs I agree, but I also think the purity of soul is important here, I believe that a woman is pure when she is pure of heart and soul, not if she hasn't been to bed with someone. A woman that has been with 5 lovers and then marries the love of her life, in my view, can be a very pure woman. More pure than a virgin that wants to harm the world and hurts their partner, for example. Wouldn't call that pure.

That is so kind of you. the way that Muslims fast is really good for human body, many people have misunderstanding that we exhaust ourselfs, but actually Islam teach us to care of our body health and fasting is great reward for your body, if you eat helthy in morning and on iftar it helps your body to rest and cleanse toxins from your body also body use food that stands in stock and cannot be used until we exercise hard or fast. Fasting helps you to think more about people who do not have to eat and appriciate blessings that you are having, that mean you will be more spiritual and focuse more about your spirit then just think about eating and wordly things. Also Islam is openminded for people who are sick, for pregnent ladys, for kids, older people and all those who can not fast, so if they can not fast because it can harm their health then they will feed poor people instead of that.
I hope this also helped you to understand what mean fasting for us and thank you for being openminded 💞😊

Respectfully speaking, imo a lot of muslims who live in muslim majority country are not be aware of the discrimination that the minority religions face because they themselves never face it. Of course it's not exclusive to islam and it happens with other religions too, but it's always a bit sad to not see these things get addressed and get reminded of how many people are unaware of the issue. I also live in one of the contries these girls are from (not mentioning which because this is not an invitation for the netizens from my country to be denial in the replies), and I can confirm that I sometimes see hurtful things being said about other religions, and I even heard that coming from a teacher at my school. Not saying that everyone is like this and there are muslims who'd call these actions out, it's just that it's something more "acceptable" compared to the opposite (a non-muslim saying something bad, or even giving a valid criticism towards muslims). I wish that the reality is as nice as what the girl described; that everyone respects each other. But things aren't as pretty as that. It just sucks being someone who has seen and experienced discrimination first hand, just having to hear people say "nothing's wrong here"

2 *Allâh the Self-Sufficient, Whom all creatures need, (He neither eats nor drinks)].*
3 *"He begets not, nor was He begotten.*
4 *"And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him."*
Al-Baqarah (2):255 Allâh! Lâ ilâha illa Huwa *(none has the right to be worshipped but He), Al-Hayyul-Qayyum (the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists). Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursî (footstool or chair) extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.*

What she said is false tho cus the verb daraba ( َضَرَب ) means hit/strike/beat. However it can have various figurative meanings when used with a preposition such as; عن or an adverb such as; مَثَلًا
Verse 34 of Surat al-Nisa uses neither. It takes its object directly. Therefore it can only mean hit/strike/beat.
If the Qur’an had wanted to convey the meaning of “Go away from them/Leave them alone” it would have to be واضربوا عنهن
One can see from the Qur’an itself that when the verb ضرب is used without either a preposition or adverb, it means hit/strike/beat. For example:
يَضْرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ وَأَدْبَارَهُمْ “They hit their faces and their backs” (8.50)
      ضَرْبَ الرِّقَابِ “Strike the necks” (47.4)
      اضْرِبُوهُ “Hit/Strike it” (2.73)
It is only when the verb َضَرَب is used with a preposition like عن (from/about) or في (in) or لِ (to/for) or adverbs like مَثَلًا (example/similitude) or جَدَلًا (disputation), that it doesn’t mean Hit in a literal sense.
أَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنْكُمُ الذِّكْرَ صَفْحًا “Should we turn away the reminder from you?” (43.5)
      ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا “Allah strikes a similitude” (14:24)
      ضَرْبًا فِي الْأَرْضِ “Going forth in the land” (2:273)
ما ضربوه لك إلا جدلا “They do not set it forth for you save by way of disputation” (43:58)
There is one use of daraba in a figurative sense, where neither a preposition or an adverb is used, but the figurative sense is self evident due to the fact that the words “truth” and “vanity” are abstract nouns. Plus it is explicitly stated at the end of the verse that it is a parable.
Thus doth Allah show forth Truth and Vanity. For the scum disappears like froth cast out; while that which is for the good of mankind remains on the earth. Thus doth Allah strike up parables. (13:17)
But perhaps the most extraordinary aspect of this interpretation is; Why would God use a word that means hit when that’s precisely what he doesn’t want you to do?

I beg to differ with the premise that what you have said "Is the only possible way to intepret it and others are just simply wrong". This will get long so bear with me as I have given respect to your response by reading it through and through and with patience.
I will present my thoughts by giving an example on the verse. I will start with the premise that Majority of Translation is based on literal translation of the Quran instead of Literal + Contextual. (Ashari vs Abdul Wahab)
As an example I would like to initially present an age old argument of "Kursi of Allah" as this has caused a lot of noise because is it a literal Throne or Contextual one or a Conceptual one.
Then I will present verse 24 of Surah Rahman.
      Surah Rahmaan: وَلَهُ ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ كَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِ ٢٤
To Him belong the ships with raised sails, sailing through the seas like mountains.
Lets examine what Ibn Kathir has to say:
      وَلَهُ الْجَوَارِ الْمُنشَئَاتُ
(And His are Al-Jawar Al-Munsha'at), meaning the ships that float,
      Ma'arif Al Quran states:
The word جَوَارِی۔ jawari is the plural of جَارِیَہ - jariyah. One of its meanings is ship and that is the sense in which it is used in the current verse.
Here are further translations of the same verse:
His are the high-sailed vessels in deep ocean like the mountains. Ahmed Ali
His are the ships, towering on the sea like mountains. Maududi
His are the ships displayed upon the sea, like banners.Pickthall
His are the lofty ships, that rear aloft on the sea like mountains.Wahiduddin Khan
To Him only belong the sailing ships, raised above the sea like hills.Ahmed Raza Khan
And His are the Ships sailing smoothly through the seas, lofty as mountains:Yusuf Ali
His are the ships with elevated sails upon the sea like mountains.Daryabadi
His are the ships, raised above the sea like landmarks.Itani
There are 2 possible contextual translations from this:
      1. simple translation would be: the verse is talking about IceBergs because verse is clear in stating (His are or To HIm belongs), this would align with the general approach to the chapter as well.
      2. the verse is talking about literal ships made by man, and since everything even human creates is by Allah's will the verse is prophesizing that the ships in the future will be so massive that will appear like mountains like aircraft carriers. I do not agree with this interpretation.
Since humans reflect on Quran based on their own experiences rather what is intend to be stated, ships is the translation most of the translators has always went with.
Coming back to the question which you raised at the end: "Why would God use a word that means hit when that’s precisely what he doesn’t want you to do?"
Now why would God use the word Kursi to indicate something which He doesn't intend to use it for? or جَارِیَہ - jariyah talk about something which he simply is not talking about in the sentence?
Now let's come to Idrab. I agree on all the literal and grammatical usage of the word. I will present a translation of Ahmed Ali, Maududi, Ahmed Raza and Pickthal:
and the women from whom you fear disobedience, (at first) advise them and (then) do not cohabit with them, and (lastly) beat them; - Ahmed Raza Khan
As for women you feel are averse, talk to them suasively; then leave them alone in bed (without molesting them) and go to bed with them (when they are willing). - Ahmed Ali
As for women of whom you fear rebellion, admonish them, and remain apart from them in beds, and beat them. - Maududi
As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them. - Pickthal
The first and foremost question to address is in terms of spectrum we have the most extreme scourge and to the other exterme we have avoid them in bed, in between we have beat them, beath them lightly (in other translations).
Now based on the cultural preferences which extreme would a person go compared in which context the verse is being revealed?
Would a Quran allow a use of verse where their is no judiciary breach consequenting in the legal punishment? If yes then the translation will be Scourge.
Would Quran allow a use of force against someone physically weaker than a man himself with intention of admonishment? If yes then beat them (Dr. Zakir Naik's interpretation)
Would Quran allow a a self control on things through which you can be controlled and manipulated to be dissuaded to be kept away from religious duties? then Ahmed Ali's translation is for you.
Usage if Da-ra-ba can be found on Quran Corpus and it is stated clearly that usage varies based on the context. Literally, Grammatically and Contextually all translations above are correct, now those in power will decide which flavour of the meaning they would like to use.
Why would God use a word that means hit when that’s precisely what he doesn’t want you to do?
I will first address it by stating, why would a God use the words like "Hand of Allah", "Face of Allah", "Throne of Allah" when precisely that he doesn't want you think of as in "Form of Allah"?
The approach is the key consideration, is the reader bringing the verse down to their level or are they elevating themselves up to the level at which God is trying to address?
Thank you for your patience and may Allah guide us towards the path of those who He has his blessings not the path of those who has lost their way. Ameen.

@@50secs Thank you for the long reply, I'd like to first reply to what you mentioned at the end of your text
"I will first address it by stating, why would a God use the words like "Hand of Allah", "Face of Allah", "Throne of Allah" when precisely that he doesn't want you think of as in "Form of Allah"?"
Now many Muslims would tend to understand these characteristics as metaphors or similes, but would not take these depictions as literal descriptions of Allah.
However, there is a group of Muslims that goes by the name Salafis that do believe in the literal application of these characteristics to Allah. They believe that Allah truly has eyes, hands, shin, and actually sits on a throne, even though they qualify this by saying that these qualities and acts are unlike anything in creation, i.e. his eyes are not like our eyes, shin is not like our shin etc.
And as a non muslim, I'd lean on more that allah is a physical being in a place, when a hadith mentions him coming down at every night to the first heaven. Sahih Muslim 758b
I wonder did God not foresee that people might think that if he said “hit”, they would think he means hit - which is exactly what happened.
Thank goodness a handful of progressive Muslims & Qur’anists, influenced by modern views of what’s acceptable, suddenly discovered the real meaning cunningly disguised by an appalling choice of words and faulty grammar.
Did God not realise that this terrible choice of language would result in many women being hit? The exact opposite (according to them,) of what he wanted? For a perfect book that cannot be improved on, I can think of quite a few ways to vastly improve this verse - if the intention was to prevent hitting as these progressive Muslims claim. There are several words that mean “leave” or “go away” that have no connotation to “hit” that God could have used such as: اتركوهن (leave them) or أعرضوا عنهن (turn away from them) or انصرفوا منهن (go away from them) as well as many others. Was God not able to check his thesaurus to find a better word?
For a book whose prime claim to fame is its miraculous, inimitable divine eloquence & clarity it would be poor style of staggering proportions to use a word that carries the very meaning one wants to avoid and in a grammatical construction that an all knowing God would know full well would totally mislead people.

@@jantski5084 the conversation is going on a tangent. As I gave clear example of how arabic works when discussing Throne and Ships.
The question which should be asked is what has the prophet stated about this verse for further clarity. In Islamic jurisprudence, what matters is what Gods own appointed figure has given the interpretation.
I humbly beg to differ with you specifically on you frame of reference that this is a poor choice of words as you propose alternative without the context in which those are to be used as the same work Daraba is also used in the same meaning.
This mindset of finding contradictions in the Quran is not new and the first works of such nature existed among Muslims from the famous figures like Yaqub Al Kindi and discussed further for investigation purposed by Al Farabi.
Your comment on the clerics recently started to interpret it this way is a bit absurd as it implies you have read and have a long book of oppressions based on the this verse.
I hope you can see the biases in your interpretation of this verse.
You can look up "Kamal Al Haydari - Surah Nisa " on youtuve a short video who discusses the similar interpretation as Ahmed Ali.

Thank you so much giggle for creating this content. As a muslim myself, i highly appreciate the effort of proliferating the knowledge about Islam as well as providing the room for discussions.
Regarding the superiority question, I think it depends on how people interpret the word and contextualize it. I do understand the explanation from the Iranian lady. If superiority means they have earlier starting point, more condusive and established environment to learn Islam, that can be valid. Moreover, Arab countries historically have more "special" connections with Islam.
However, if we interpret the word "superiority" in terms of "how islam are you" or whether you are a "more religious muslim", i think the answer should be no. As far as I understand, in Islam, we are taught that we can't judge and score other people's iman based on what they do, how they behave and how they pursue Islam. It's only God who can determine the deeds of the believers and their intentions. We are also taught that there are many ways (doors) to heaven and we never actually know through which door we can enter. There are also a lot of stories in Quran and hadits how someone who might seem "bad" based on sociatal standards and norms but were told by Prophet Muhammad SAW that they will go to heaven for a specific deed they done. This shows, that there is no specific parameter of what makes you a better muslim than others. As a Muslim, we should just focus on doing our best to avoid what's forbidden and do what are told in quran and hadits. I believe no only in Islam but also other religions, pursuing religion is a very personal journey and is about your relationship with your God.

We were colonized by the Dutch and even their Civil Code is still practiced here. However, for specific matters like marriage, Indonesian law follows the rules of religion. A marriage can only be deemed valid and recognized by the state if it is performed in compliance with the religion of the bride and groom. There is only one region in Indonesia that fully implemented Islamic law, which is Aceh.

As an atheist from a mostly Christian and Atheist country, this was very interesting to listen to. I think many people from my country don't understand much about Islam and unfortunately our national experience and understanding is deeply flawed, to the point of becoming dangerous and unethical to propagate those feelings and ideas (that is, the misguided feelings of some non Muslims in my country).
For one, people here view Islam as a religion full of strict rules with little to no flexibility or compassion for individuals. I would argue that there are more and less rigid followers and ideas in almost any religion- here, Christian Fundamentalists are just as limiting and inflexible as some of the most rigid depictions of Islam around the world. The difference, I think, is actually how up front the religious authority is about the guidelines and rules, and also how honest they are about the connection between the law of the religion and the law of the land. There have been many countries through history with laws tied to Christianity or Judaism, and while many of those nations have since relaxed that connection to the religion in their national law, they once existed in just as extreme measure as they do in some Islamic countries today. However, often the "rules" of Christianity or other major religions are less... spelled out,, even if they exist. For example, breaking a cardinal sin may not be as obvious in Christianity, but it might still result in major interpersonal or cultural damage to an individual.
Ironically, many of those important transgressions are actually the same. Not honoring hospitality, immodesty, adultery, use of altering or addictive substances, not respecting elders or authority figures, eating things that are considered unclean or at the wrong times, etc. I think many Catholics, for example, would be scandalized at the comparison of pork being haram to the giving up of certain foods for Lent, but in many ways, the idea is the same.

While i do recognize how a culture can be influenced by religion, but in many cases what is deemed as religious is simply cultural, although in many cases the religion is used as a motive to justify certain acts unfortunately, but it’s important to keep in mind that the religion has nothing to do with it.

About the Arabic language, as a Muslim myself I don't speak arab but we as Muslims at least we have to know how to read arab words and understand important Arabic words for our prayer ... when it comes to the Quran, you are not compulsory to master your Arabic language for that cause nowadays most of Quran have a translation but you are compulsory to know how to read cause your different intonation brings a different meaning to the same word...you don't have to know how to speak Arabic language but you have to master your reading and your intonation in reading

@@idk8828 like I said above, nowadays most of the Quran has translations that we can refer to the translation every time we read the Quran that's why we are only obligated to know how to read so that we get the right pronunciation and intonation of each word to avoid misreading... it's not compulsory to master Arabic but it's great if you want to...Allah never obliged us to be proficient in speaking Arabic but when it involves prayer it becomes obligatory for us to understand every du'a in the prayer because to perform the prayer we must use Arabic...fyi, we use the same du'a in each of our 5 times prayers so it's not hard to memorize all the du'a in Arabic plus its meaning...unless it is a personal du'a...for example, I make a du'a so that I can do my best in my test, or I hope I got great grades in my test so it is not mandatory to use Arabic for this kind of wishes and just use your own language...I hope my explanation helps you to understand a bit about this matter

We usually don't prefer immigrating to Europe and prefer east Asian countries like Japan and Korea because they're much safer for women and they're way more tolerant to different religions and are in general way less racist. All you need to know is French restrictive laws against muslim women (e.g. hijab is banned) to realise why I for example as an educated muslim woman chose Japan over Europe. Note that France's laws are ONLY against muslim women and NOT against muslim men which is ridiculous from a country who claims that their slogan is: Liberté , égale , fraternité (Liberty, equality, fraternity).

I mean it definitely depends on the European country’s government, but racism is much more normalised in south korea and japan, in much of western europe racism is very much not tolerated and hate speech laws apply to incriminate those that act in a racist way- like in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany etc. There are some countries which are worse like Poland and Czechia

@@florallyclover European countries are racist in a different way. Japan and Korea are prejudiced towards people who are different. Whereas Europe has remnants of historic extreme racism, like beliefs in biological inferiority, hate groups and gangs that are based on racism. Mind you of white supremacist endeavors of historical European superpowers, like Germany and Britain, but also France, Spain and many others who strived to the same. Public opinions are not the same anymore but the extremist parts remain. And of course we also have that kind of prejudice like Japan and Korea, though maybe not so much among younger generations or cities.
It would do good for Europe to get more diverce representation of other coultures, such as more nice muslim women. But I don't blame muslim women for not coming here to fix our problems with prejudice and racism, in their own expence.
I'm a Finnish woman. Here's an anecdote: I tried to do a presentation for Religion class in upper secondary school about the similarities between islam and christianity and their histories. I could barely find any information about islam in Finnish, and what I was able to find was negative. I shouldn't have held that presentation, but my graduation dangled on it and a couple other things. I still regret it to this day. Regardless of if what I presented was true, the image I put out there was not realistic or fair.
It would have been a much better presentation if it was a conversation, like this video, between a muslim and a christian who had studied religion history.
We grow up with racism as a norm. Maybe we don't even notice it much.
