Thanks for the vid. You are at my local and I purchased my NIO ET7 from this store! Correction 3.8 secs because of the more efficient SIC motor, according to the website they are Brembo brakes and 21s are available.
Hello Elliot, Nice preview of the car, I'll be waiting for the full review. By the way, i'm currently living in Beijing and i'm looking for an EV Car, after watching the video where you explained how to buy an EV, I would like to know if Shanghai still has the same policy that you'll be getting the License plates for free ( I know as you said in the video the subsidy is not available anymore) thank you.
Hey - yes its still available for free although some restrictions are likely to come in soon. No Hybrids can get the free plate soon, and the subsidy for EVs has reduced slightly. But for now - the plate is still free. However the car needs to cost over 100,000 RMB and be more than 4m long - so no Wuling MiniEVs, or Leap T01. The smallest car you can get is the BYD Dolphin/EA1. Hope that helps with shopping for your EV, and let me know what you get!
@@electricelliotrichards Thank you so much for the quick and informative reply, Elliot. I checked also that if you're not a 北京人, you'll need to have 5 years of insurance and tax in the city, so you can apply for the license plates ( applies for blue and green plates). Definitely the Dolphin is a great option, and it's within my budget haha, If you get the chance to try out the Geometry C from Geely or any of the GAC AION line i'll be looking forward to watch as I do with the other videos. Thanks again and Happy New Year BTW if you still have the Xpeng G3 you can make a 2 year video to see how the things are going.
nio come to america!
Chinese cars just keep getting more and more desirable. Got my eye on the Ora Cat for when my lease is up
Mate can't wait until they hit USA

Thanks! 3.8s is quick...
Don't know if white will be the most beautiful color, but indeed, what a striking design this is,
I've noticed that bigger cars seldom look nice in white but much better in dark colours, like dark gray, black, etc
It's actually nicer than a Tesla, better range too. Completely different to the MG EV
Nio is making a very nice car
Can't wait to see it in Europe
probably in 2023 NIO ET7 and ET5 will begin selling in Europe, but we don't know how many swap stations would be which is a essential advantage of NIO
This car is very nice 👍
love the video, cool sneak peak
Thanks! 😀
I want one.
NIO 🚀🚀🚀
Panel gaps on the NIO proves NIO > Tesla in terms of build quality and built with precision, pride and care.
🤩

Big wheels
Do you know if they come with matrix-LED headlights, or is this just a single throw?
Hard to say - but looked like single throw.
@@electricelliotrichards That would be really a step backwards. If you get the time to ask someone at Nio about it, we would relly appreciate it.
@@DiegoTheWolf Let me find out when I get under the skin of the car at the end of this month.
LiDar needs the test of real life in comparison to Tesla’s different approach! really tempting, specially the price!
Going to be interesting to see how it compares. We will find out soon!
Tesla has like 2-4 crashes per day. Nio has fewer and will be a lot fewer with Lidar.
@@HiddenAgendas that's because Tesla have more cars on the road...actually wayyyyy more. We will see, I'm a big fan of Nio myself
Car is very desirable but this white paint is so off
Not White
Never a white. White is for Asians.
