    If it helps anyone else I finally got the definitive answer on if the manual range setting is for cropped or full frame after waiting a while I got a reponsd form godox support :
    "Thank you for your message. We are glad to serve you.
    We suggest that you set 35mm focal length on TT350S or auto zoom. When you set 35mm on TT350S, it means full frame.
    Hope this can help you"
    This is opposite of what I thought would have been but hope helps anyone!

    Thanks a lot for the video, i will like to find out if the v350s when used as a trigger for my AD400 can also fire like the V1 does? Thank you.

    Thanks. Quick question. Is this the same as the one with 2 (AA) batteries? I have the Flashpoint. Are the functions the exact same? Thank you

    Hi: Way late to the show on this comment.. I have the C1 button on my A6500, A7RII & A7III set to enable flash exposure comp. IF my V350 (flashpoint version) is set as a standalone flash (no radio sync), I can control flash exposure comp by using either the C1 button on the camera bodies, or the exposure comp on the flash unit. BUT, if I have the V350 set as a master and I trigger an off-camera strobe, in this case the evolv 200, I can control the on-camera flash using the exposure comp on the flash unit. In this scenario, the C1 button controls flash exposure comp ONLY on the remote evolv flash. Am I wacky, or IS this supposed to function this way? It is a very flexible scenario, but seems counter intuitive?

    Hi, I have a godox v350 flash on my a7c camera. My problem is that I can't raise the shooting speed to a maximum of 1/160. Has the same thing happened to anyone?

    nice video but do u have a tutorial on what is the power usage for? e.g 1/1 vs 1/128 and -3 vs +3 results?

    • @robhallphoto
      @robhallphoto  2 роки тому +1

      No. Because there are no power guidelines with flash photography. You can use them 3" away or 30 feet away. In 72" umbrellas or bare. In bright conditions or pitch black conditions. The distance, modifier, and relative camera settings all make any suggested output irrelevant.

      All flashes need time to repower between shots. My experience with this flash though is that it will occasionally (not often) misfire for no apparent reason.

    Hi, I use my godox v350 as a master. I can control group a b and c but not the master itself, it's giving me no option to do that. Any reason why?

    • @robhallphoto
      @robhallphoto  Рік тому +1

      I’m assuming you’re canon, which means group A is your master (as well as any off camera flashes in group A).

    I know this video is a little old, but I can’t seem to find a great answer on this. When using this system (I’m personally using Flashpoint versions for Sony with an A7III), what is the appropriate use of the “Wireless Flash” setting either when using a flash like the R2 Mini as a controller or with the dedicated trigger/controller? It seems to behave differently, resulting in a delay if I use Wireless Flash with a light as the controller, but then the exposure doesn’t look right when it’s set to something else with the dedicated trigger. Anyone have experience with this?

    Great video! My TT350S seems to be stuck in manual zoom TTL mode with my Sony A6500. As the A6500 is an APS-C camera.... Do the zoom levels on the TT350S represent full frame lens or cropped?

    Thanks for the video, 1 question though, you mentioned by default its zoom is set for apsc cameras, how do we set if for full frame? I am getting some vignetting in my photos when zoom is set to auto. I have a Sony A7 mark 3

    • @robhallphoto
      @robhallphoto  4 роки тому +1

      you would want it about 2/3 of the focal length of a full frame lens. So on a 50mm lens, roughly 35mm.

    • @mariovillada9354
      @mariovillada9354 4 роки тому

      Robert Hall Photography Thanks! Although, it’s a shame this cannot be set so it picks up the right focal length on full frame cameras.

    Is TTL working on this flash for Sony? Adorama website for the Flashpoint version says "Users of the Sony A7R2 should note that R2 TTL function is still in the stages of development. Please watch for Flashpoint R2 firmware update." I'm hoping that message is obsolete ....

      battery compartment open, hold body firmly, whip that sucker! That's really my only suggestion without a pull tab, there's nothing that locks it in place.
