This is legit one of the funniest videos I’ve seen in the last few years…and so insanely well put together! Animation, writing, sound, etc. are all excellent!
I always love it when Noodle wrecks his house, and instead of it being fixed by the next scene thanks to "cartoon-magic", the house just stays demolished for the rest of the video.
Makes you wonder what he is doing with his channel's revenue if he refuses to even start repairing his house. I can see him eventually squatting someone else's house in a video or two.
This is genuinly one of the best youtube videos made in 2022 hands down. Everything is amazing, the animation, comedy, topic, explanations, and music. It's clear a ton of hard work was put into it and I hope every person that was involved in the making of it realises how great of a job they did. I normally don't rewatch youtube videos especially when they are this long but I've already rewatched this video 3 times.
Or even if the pursuit goes on long enough for you to make a circle back to where you started. the cops willl also say "Hes headed through (insert Location) again, Look at him go!" I love these details
I love how the cops dialogue in Most Wanted, it's so well made. The getting more and more intense vocally over time, the one other game I know actually does that, is Pay Day, the longer the heist has been going and the more they are in active combat, the angrier and more pannicked the player characters voiceline become, like, reloading, if it's stealth and all the player's going to quitely say something like "changing map" in a calm, focused tone, if the civilians are starting to disobey and roam around they'll sound a bit more frustrated, if the cops start ariving, when detected they'll start talking normally, saying things like "I'm dry, gotta reload" in a clear tone, as the fight keeps going the player will shout more, like if they're losing their manners, until they start screaming and swearing "SHIT'S FUCKING EMPTY GOTTA RELOAD!" until they just go nut and start complaining about shit, it's a pretty neat feature.
Spec Ops: The Line did some similar stuff as the story progressed. As combat got more hectic and the characters got more stressed, their dialog would go from the standard and professional "Cover me, changing mags!" to a sentence using what I'm sure was every swear word the script writer could think of at the time.
Being chased by the High Speed Task Force in Need for Speed Heat at night has the same thing as your heat increases - the cops openly comment on you "returning for more" and insist that this time they are going to bust you unlike the last chase. They also loudly blame their car for not being fast enough or their fellow task force members for being too slow to back them up should you escape, which is great.
Kind of reminds me of how GTA does it. And while it's hilarious how they do it, the seriousness of Most Wanted's police radio makes for a great tone shift and strong tension.
The stress to not lose your damn car to those cops were real😭 the love I have for this game is unparalled. And yes, they do get angrier, to the point where they become more unhinged then I am
Seem less blend of 2D and 3D, the classic Noodle thing of adding his little drawn man into existing scenes and clips, all tied together with an absolutely astounding opening that just screams his understanding of "Sick nasty racing games of the late-90s to early 2000s" and what they shot for during Underground and beyond. Glorious
Dude, hats off to the animators this time around. The lipsyncing throughout the video was spot on. Any chance there's a list of who animated which parts?
Can we just appreciate the continuity in noodle's videos when it comes to his house? Like, first we were all so impressed with the fact he kept the carpet damaged and then a whole fucking wall is destroyed, and now pretty much the entire thing is completely DECIMATED because of all the crazy shit that goes on in the videos, and I was watching and thinking "wow haha he should make reconstructing the house part of the videos too" and later that's *exacly* the excuse he gives to end it?
Yep, lots of detail to continuity. Like how at 8:25 he crashes through a wall, then at 9:00 the wall is back, then at 9:18 it's destroyed again, and then the wall comes back again at 9:36, sticks around until 11:46, before mysteriously being mysteriously destroyed again one second later at 11:47. It then comes back at 12:22, and gets redestroyed at 12:47.

@@SantiagoMonroy5 I can agree that the story is not too hot, but the real-time fandub and other playthroughs I've seen where the players just go ham with the whole premise makes it so I can't have a bad time with the game any more.
I've gotta say, as someone who's been studying and doing animation for a good portion of my art journey, the first 2 minutes of this video alone get me so hyped. The smoothness of the starting car animations that pulls you into the scene despite its monochrome simplicity, the cell shaded 3D model that blends in almost perfectly for the gag, the expressiveness from such a simple character that oozes so much appeal. Never knew that chase music on NFS MW was adaptive to the situation in the chase. But I always had the feeling that it fits too perfectly every time. I was too dumb or too involved in the chase.
Isn't entierely true, it's mostly relative to the position of the cops being closer to you or not. ( And a few other parameters like the player's speed and such ). He wasn't lying about the game having 4 themes in total though, but the 360 version sometimes shifts themes from time to time.
@@ScarLeRenard That's still cool though, because the game's...let's just call it "The Director" AI, is recognizing what's happening in the game, _in real time,_ and adjusting the score accordingly. _In 20-fucking-05._ I don't think that properly happened again until Mick Gordon did it with Doom (2016). I was a bit sad to see Carbon missing from the chapter list, but after hearing you talk about Most Wanted I realized Carbon is basically a nighttime Most Wanted.

When he learned that there was a part in this related to underground 2 he asked if i could show it to him and I gladly went to the segment to show him. He then verbally said "I wonder what this guy is gonna say about it" and when I hit play I just so happened to scroll riiiiight at 13:58 It was a good reaction.
Something you’ve gotta give props for is how the house stays consistent with what’s happened to it in previous videos; like the door and surrounding wall being atomized by the robot! I appreciate that kind of attention of detail.
18:37 The Cops in Most Wanted are the best thing in the game! The increasing difficulty, the strategic patterns, and the chase music really makes MW best in the NFS series.
At the same time it destroyes the open world feeling. In U2 you would spend hours exploring or reaching new speed records on the ring highway. In MW you can't enjoy 30 seconds of the world ... just use map and warp to next event.
And don't forget the glitches...finding the glitches on this game were hilarious. I mean doing kick-flips with Fiat Punto as you ride over a small piece of pavement is insane!
I like Carbon a little bit more, but that might have to do with the fact it was the first true game I ever got as a present. Plus it's kinda basically MW 2005 but with more customization, a cooler city and touge/drifting over drag racing, which is objectively better.

Fast forward, and my then-girlfriend and now wife were arguing over which body kit and paint colors we should use on the GTI I built in Underground 2.

If the chase goes on long enough, some of the cops will literally say "OK I've had enough, I'm running this guy off the road."
It's great.
thats pretty much like real life
PIT maneuvers are the shit
And their excitement when you crash or get trapped too
Or even if the pursuit goes on long enough for you to make a circle back to where you started. the cops willl also say "Hes headed through (insert Location) again, Look at him go!"
I love these details
Well, hell. Now I gotta play Payday
@@andrewduong2740 the best lines are in san andreas lol the cops on the choppers "hey! i can see my house from here!"

Glorious
Dude, hats off to the animators this time around. The lipsyncing throughout the video was spot on. Any chance there's a list of who animated which parts?

Uh go look into noodle’s Twitter where he credits several people for the production of this video
The part with him saying you don’t read I can tell it’s mayde I love his animation look it up it’s crazy good
Can we just appreciate the continuity in noodle's videos when it comes to his house?

The Cops in Most Wanted are the best thing in the game! The increasing difficulty, the strategic patterns, and the chase music really makes MW best in the NFS series.
At the same time it destroyes the open world feeling.
In U2 you would spend hours exploring or reaching new speed records on the ring highway.
In MW you can't enjoy 30 seconds of the world ... just use map and warp to next event.
with no vehicle damage??
And don't forget the glitches...finding the glitches on this game were hilarious. I mean doing kick-flips with Fiat Punto as you ride over a small piece of pavement is insane!
I like Carbon a little bit more, but that might have to do with the fact it was the first true game I ever got as a present.
