Motorstorm feels like a puzzle game disguised as racing games, I love it so much. The open nature of the track encourages experimentation, which route you shall take in order to get faster and maximize your winning chance. Its also really exhilarating when your planned route got fucked just because a total bad luck, forcing you to adapt to the situation fast. Like for example you're riding motorcycle that should've stayed on higher grounds but due to unlucky circumtances you're here in the mud pit, sliding all over the place trying not to slam into a rock in the next sharp corner while also dodging trucks and mudpluggers that will crush you into tiny pieces just because they can. There's no game in this world that can provide that type of experience, other than motorstorm.
This is a low budget - high budget video I wasn't expecting to see, I'm not even into racing games. BUT GODDANG, THIS IS A GOOD VIDEO, AND THE EXCITEMENT IS PALPABLE.
Personally this has to be one of my favorite videos of Noodle, being one of those people who grew up playing Motorstorm apocalypse, it's amazing to see not only the whole history of the company but a point of view of the game that i also share, which makes me want to play the game again
@ora2j251 I have a Ryzen 7. Unfortunately the games are still heavily CPU-focused, but I believe they definitely improved performance since the last time you tried it
This video is the kind of chaotic speech energy I have devolved into over the past 7 or 8 years. I feel so perceived with this. It's also funny to me because for a while, I've thought of making my video essays in a very laid-back style like Somecallmejohnny, but recently have been considering the polar opposite approach of this very chaotic and off-the-walls style. This video perfectly finds a middle ground of those two, not by meeting in the middle, but by VIOLENTLY switching between the two at break-neck speeds. Thank you for inspiring me, as I am now going to make this everyone's problem (:

Edit: Found them!
5:02 - “Eardrum”
30:57 - “spare your enamel, she needs it more than you” and shortly after is the remix Six Impala made themselves.
@@Tons-of-Turtles "Eardrum" on the 1st timestamp, and "Spare your enamel, she needs it more than you" on the 2nd!
@@hayIeyyy lol thank you! I had just finished combing their discography and found them both, too. 😂
Motorstorm is THE thing I'm most hyped about with the advancement of PS3 emulation.
Well, you're in luck. You can emulate it right now, damn near perfectly. Hell, I finished Pacific Rift with an emulated copy.
@@0uttaS1TE my r5 3600's kinda struggling to run it well last time i checked. I really need to try it again.
@ora2j251 I have a Ryzen 7. Unfortunately the games are still heavily CPU-focused, but I believe they definitely improved performance since the last time you tried it
holy shit more of this please this is great, you two have great comedic chemistry
romantic too
As a first time viewer. The first 20min felt like a fever dream
Julian talking about not knowing about cocaine, like he doesnt have a crippling addiction to it
21:42 SPLIT/SECOND MENTIONED?!?! 🗣️🔥🔥
The overlap of Somecallmejohnny viewers with Noodle viewers is probably more than I think, but is still wild to see it.
I hope you find your niche in the youtubes
This is one of the best youtube videos i have ever seen. FACTUAL ASSERTION
This is PEAK noodle. The jokes and the chemistry with punk duck were sooo funny this video, keep it up!
Humans: I want violence
Demonstration of actual violence in real world: Game made near same time
Humans: how fkn dare you
i mean… to be fair if i asked for falling building video game, and then a building falls on my brother, im probably not gonna ask for falling building game anymore, let alone play them

bro snuck and opam gangnam style into 15:01 and thought we wouldn’t notice
Noodle is the ONLY UA-camr I have watched and not skipped their ads. It’s like I’m watching an episode of a series with literal infomercials or something. It’s amazing, and thanks for making this channel and sharing Ween and turning everything brown
as a PERSONAL PARASOCIAL SIDENOTE i will probably delete i also just wanna mention how nice it is to see my boy Ed creating things he so obviously passionate about :) he deserve all the collab and views ever and this video fucks
5:44
Glad to see the annual tradition of Ed being in a car accident remains untouched
Thank you Noodle for this very realistic depiction of a Portuguese attack
wasn't expecting a motorstorm video let alone one made by someone from my country, congrats!
whenever you upload my pancreas starts to wiggle violently from excitement
consider talking to a doctor about that
“when your stummy hurt,”
what the fuck
Honestly since Onrush is my favorite game I'm so desperate for its existence to even be acknowledged that I popped off seeing it in a video even if the segment was about how it fell off.
i NEED a racing game in the style of that opening animation NOW
liking the new format of video essay pvp
This UA-cam video feels like being put on a group project with the two kids who have no social cues and I love it.
First NFS, now this. THANKS NOODLE I LOVE YOU
Now searching for Motorstorm on Spotify.
Thankyou for granting me knowledge of such Music.
Your art style is, once again, why I'm still subscribed to you.
This video reminded me of when good TV existed, for the brief time that it still did...
Please continue granting me with childhood classics, music and games, onwards.
This need to be an annual thing.
One video a year with both of you.
The chemistry is so funny
I still wake up in a cold sweat thinking of the pacific rift mission where it's you on a bike vs 11 monster trucks on the razorback map. That mission does things to a person.
Noodle is kind to release PunkDuck from basement just for the video
He had to banish hyojin to absorb punkduck himself, albeit into a much more comfortable scenario
Oh god thanks SO MUCH for the music list. And the vid drove me so much towards the series (like with cArS), I'm literally spending my next weekend exclusively on motorstorm. Thanks.
i fucking love the dynamic between noodle and punkduck here. make more videos together. this is an order.
Boost, cars, explosions, cars that explode, and racing is why Split/Second was and will always be cherished in my household
I have really struggled to explain the significance to many of these games to my friends and how good they were. These videos make it so easy. thank you noodle for another banger
Your style has evolved and had time to grow and develope into something truly unique. At the end, when you beautifully tie it all together; it's like an 'oh shit this is amazing' kinda moment. Very cool noodle.
