i have a c200 K 2009 model 120000kms on odo...i use 5w30 in my car, no problems at all....i live in place where temp varies from 15⁰c -- 45⁰c

When you remove the old "O" rings.....use a toothpick o you don't damage the plastic filter housing..

What cup size is for the oil filter? 74mm or 76mm 14 flutes?
You prefer 5w-40 but what does the manufacturer recommend?
For the m271 engine you need a little ofer 5,8 liters of oil and 0w40 for very cold climates and 5w40 for the rest pf the climates of fully synthetic 229.5 grade (not 229.51!) oil, preferably mobil 1, liqui molly, motul and many more.
I live in west Europe i used 5w40
Next oil change im thinking 0w40 to go for maybe mobil or Rowe

@@easyrider020 Thanks for your like. I would recommend the Original, Motul or Ravenol 5w-40 229.5 (all fully synthetic)
The large oil filter o- ring should not be in the top groove. It should be in the next groove down otherwise the o-ring will not go into the filter housing and if dry it can break. I found this out the hard way. Tried to torque to 24 Nm and destroyed the o-ring. After researching the ‘net I realised what I was doing wrong. It would have been helpful if your video advised of this easily made mistake.
Do you know where the AC water drain is? Car never leaks when I have my AC on. And car colds intermittently.

Mercedes have an Electronic Oil Level test, which you access by pressing the Trip Meter reset rapidly 3 times and then turning the Key to start position 2. It will test the level and give you an "OK". Further through the menu, it will actually tell you how much Oil your Engine is currently holding.

I have 5w30 on my 2013 c300
the suction changer goes to the same job for about 15 minutes😉 the precipitate also leaves, there is no need to remove the bottom armor, nor to lift the car.

@M A when the oil is warm then it absorbs easily..have but be a good vacuum device ..I have already 6 years have changed many the car from above...

This is only for Engine M271. For the C180 was later then april 2012 the newer engine M274

Looks like it's on a Jack, and has a tire under there too so if the jack fails it'll fall on the tire/ wheel.

Yeah but it is just a small amount 🤏. The oil filter will do the rest. Adding the new oil, the old left over oil will renew 🤷♂️.
