Personal headcannon. Maybe he actually in some small way, regrets murdering his brother. Hence why he created a faction that's very cutthroat and competitive, so if he dies, then it will be like his brother killing him, projecting that entity unto his faction, thus giving him vengeance and a long overdue justice. Its sort of a subconscious thing, with Kane himself not fully aware of this desire. I like to think it this way since it depicts him being more human, deep down desiring true brotherhood and some small forgiveness, but will never attain it as he knows, that one way or another, everyone pays, even a messiah.

For me, the older cutscenes didn't struck me as pornish. It looked real good. A bit cheesy maybe, and at times a bit hammy (Red Alert 1 & 2 mainly), but who cares. If its awesome, then its awesome. Best one for me was Tiberian Sun's cutscenes. In most games, I would like to imagine it in anime form (cause anime is fucking awesome and superior to everything), but not Tiberian Sun though. It was just that good and memorable, and the ladies were fucking hot as well, and Kane, maybe its just me, but in Tiberian Sun, he seems far more divine than ever. Tiberian Wars made him somewhat human (IMO) but I preferred the one in Tiberian Sun. But Red Alert 3 however, damn. I swear half the time the characters on screen are just about ready to fuck each other, and all the time, I was painfully disappointed when that didn't happen. Feels bad man.
I left C&C4 out of the last video, and I was really happy to see almost unanimous agreement with that. There was so much wrong with the story in that game. Kane lives!
vandal 33 C&C 3 was still a solid game, and while not the same that Westwood had intended, which would also have had CABAL as a separate faction, still was a decent addition to the lore of C&C
@@thesteellegionnaire4570 C&C3 at least made a solid effort with the lore, with the database entries, the novel, and Kane's Wrath tying up loose plot threads from previous games.
I think someone should actually try and re-create C&C4 but with a more.. different approach. Base building is still an option but it's a lot harder to maintain due to tiberium infestation, the aggressive tiberium wildlife and the occasional attack by Nod. A small faction within GDI has finally started focusing on Kane due to his innate survivability which defies all reason, from heavily corrupted video evidence of kane being around stalin, his survival of the ion cannon on sarajevo in C&C1, being impaled by a GDI commander wielding a shard of tiberium which clearly should've infected him and yet surviving not only fairly unharmed but reuniting nod time and time again with masterfully designed plans which always use tiberium. To summarise my vague idea, any re-creation of C&C4 should focus on two aspects of the games: 1) Tiberium should be threatening with a risk/reward system for it. It's a resource that allows for troop creation, building production and research funding, your main source of economy. But at the same time it will constantly spread. Harvesting keeps it under control and can even eradicate outcroppings of it but eventually you'll run low, meanwhile letting it grow too much can result in an uncontrolled spread and your base becoming infested with it, making infantry impossible to maintain, vehicles lose performance with tiberium growing into cracks and gaps in armor and even buildings losing functionality. 2) Kane is always made out as this enigmatic figure who focuses so much on tiberium, yet he's simultaneously treated as just a resilient cockroach by gdi, squished when he gets loud and then walking away while he gets back up to annoy further. Why hasn't anyone at GDI realised he's stuck around for so long, or tried planting spies in nod's troops. Turn GDI paranoid of kane, very much concerned of his activity, his end goal. My apologies if no one really understands what I've just written, it's late, I haven't slept in a day or so and I just finished the entirety of tiberian sun's campaigns, including firestorm.
@MikeProductions1000 That abomination claming itself as Tiberian Twilight WAS supposed to be spin-off targeting Asian market, but EA higher-ups turned it into AAA package (or what they think it is.)
Please make more of these, I grew up on command and conquer but never understood the lore because I was to young to care. Its nice to understand what happened in these games.
Yeah, this has shown me so much about the C&C universe. I never knew that CABAL was a bio-AI that used thirty humans in test tubes for brain energy. Just cool!
It's ironic that Kane is always betrayed at least once in every game. The last one (kane's wrath) he was betrayed by a loyal follower, not a power hungry follower
@@magnuscritikaleak5045 >Believing GDI propaganda Pathetic. Kane is the savior of mankind, he's the mesiah, the reborn. He united world under one strong planetary government against universal powers. In the name of Kane!
Kane probably felt mortified after finding out he ordered to kill Killian because of a lie and betrayal by another loyal follower. Granted Killian was doubtful, but Kane doesn't know yet..

Its the first time I have finally gotten the full story. I doubt I will ever manage to complete all the games, my backlog is just too long, so it was great seeing it told like this, including the greatest cutscenes from the the series.
Quick head canon, Kane slew Able because Able was working for the Scrin. At the very least, Kane had witnessed his world burn because of them. At that moment he began his life long vendetta against the aliens who stole his world from him. Kane visited countless world, watched countless attempts to forestall the Scrin, all ending in failure, all too late to have hope. Worlds would follow a pattern, embrace Ichor and fall to ruin at the hands of the cult of Travelers, die off to be harvested by the Foreman, or try to eliminate the precious resource and wake the cult of Reapers. Kane watched as these world burned; he started a record of sorts. One which each doomed race would out line everything they knew, all the weapons, technology, counter measures, everything they had tried. It was in their own words so, Kane could only guess at it's content. Tacitus, the living record of the dead set to avenge them all. Finally it was time to pick a world, a world yet to be seeded that Kane could guide in glorious rebellion. Somehow he convinced the Scrin to send him alongside Able in the veils of humans. Kane killed Able first, then started his work. Through the manipulation of world events, Kane would guide humanity to a force that would strike at the heart of the Scrin empire. Even Einstein's use of the Chronosphere did not stop his plans. The seed was coming and humanity needed to be ready when it did. This is where things take a turn, I believe Kane intended to win the first war, gain control of Tiberium, and set the world on a path of war. Kane, however, was ok with losing as it set them on the path of victory regardless. Now again, this is head canon and likely would never be thought out this far by the developers. The first Tib war could be seen as Kane's way of preparing the world for the Traveler. Kane admits that they are a mystery, even to him, so it would make since to be a bit disjointed. Next is the second Tib war; the planet is dying, without help all life will die and the foreman will have a dead planet to harvest. The humans need the Tacitus but they are yet to be ready for it, so Kane starts a new war. This leads them to Tratos, a mutant Kane likely made able to read the many languages inside the Tacitus. Once again, Kane need only let the world choose, defeat him and use the knowledge inside the Tacitus or fire the world altering missile and rob the Scrin of any advantage. Once again, it didn't matter. Lastly, the last Tib war. GDI has Tiberium under control and is slowly taking their planet back, but they have cut military spending to a minimum. Should they "cure" the planet of Tiberium, they will wake the cult of Reaper and with military spending so low, the cult will wipe them all out. Kane can't allow this, they must fight on his terms. First, wake the sleeping GDI and get them back to who they were. Next, bring the Scrin in early; rob them of the advantages, introduce the world to them, and show them that Earth will not fall so easily. Millenia of scheming, Kane's plans are finally coming to fruition. Now Kane need only wait. While waiting, he gives Legion an unstoppable (to the Scrin) Cyborg army and helps Legion hack the Scrin Networks. Kane has played the villain to save this world. Earth is ready, GDI and Nod, though at odds, are ready. The Scrin are coming and Kane has done all he can. The anger and fury of trillions of lives now rest with the humans.
"We've found him, Commander- Kane's temple and base of operations. This field operative's covert transmission came to us live just five minutes ago, so there's no doubt that Kane's inside. He's surrounded himself with his own crack militia. Getting to him... won't be easy. Ironic, isn't it? Kane's planted his temple just outside of Sarajevo. If that sounds familiar, it's because that's where another madman (Gavrilo Princip) started World War I (The Assassination of Austro-Hungarian Duke Franz Ferdinand). And here we are, trying to stop this madman from doing it again. Commander, there is to be no quarter given. No leniency in dealing with Kane and his zealots. Wipe his temple off the face of the earth. Destroy the bastard... or prepare to... die trying." GDI General Mark Jamison Shappard First Tiberium War

@@someorclad9738 But it does look like porn, lol
I’m glad this didn’t take the abomination that is C&C4 as canon. Kane lives!
I left C&C4 out of the last video, and I was really happy to see almost unanimous agreement with that. There was so much wrong with the story in that game.
Kane lives!
But C&C3 was different from what westwood originally wrote about Nod, Scrin, Kane and Tiberium. EA killed C&C much earlier before C&C4.
vandal 33 C&C 3 was still a solid game, and while not the same that Westwood had intended, which would also have had CABAL as a separate faction, still was a decent addition to the lore of C&C
@@thesteellegionnaire4570 and it was a very solid showing, perhaps the best, of Kane's madness and genius.
@@thesteellegionnaire4570 C&C3 at least made a solid effort with the lore, with the database entries, the novel, and Kane's Wrath tying up loose plot threads from previous games.

As long as there is Kane, there will always be Nod. And since there will always be Kane, there will always be Nod
Cian picard And since there will always be Nod, there will always be GDI.
To summarise my vague idea, any re-creation of C&C4 should focus on two aspects of the games:
1) Tiberium should be threatening with a risk/reward system for it.
Or with Tiberium disappearing perhaps go back into also harvesting ore like in Red Alert. ;)
Actually they should recreate cnc 3 and 4... And that will be petroglyh.
GDI : Why won't you die!
Kane : NANO MACHINE SON
3) Dont forget the Scrin's second invasion. Were we will see the REAL attack forces
Just cool!
Lmao I'm here 23 years later
Yep, identify! 25 long years since I first acted on instinct 🙂
God: i curse you with immortality
Kane: wrong move, my dude
It's ironic that Kane is always betrayed at least once in every game. The last one (kane's wrath) he was betrayed by a loyal follower, not a power hungry follower
That’s his bane - he always gets undone by people he trusts in much the same way he supposedly did to his brother all those millennia ago...
I like how people keep trying to betray and/or kill Kane. Like, what makes people think it'll work THIS time?
@@ThatSwiggityGuy Kane is a narcissistic POWER HUNGry murderer lacking empathy. A punishment from the Divines themselves, Cao Mengde.
@@magnuscritikaleak5045 >Believing GDI propaganda
Pathetic.
I love how he is a mystery to the very end
nobody knows his true origins
nobody knows his true goals
still he has his faithfull (ie fanatic) followers.

Thank you so much for these videos! They are so well made if they had EVA narrating them I would think they were part of the game. I grew up with the games in this franchise and it's so sad to see Command and Conquer being destroyed with games such as CnC [REDACTED] 4 and later with the complete joke CnC Rivals.
Thank you again for your time and effort put into these great videos.

Thank you for watching, that really means to world to hear!
Finally a bio on Kane! I’ve been looking for something like this for so long this is amazing thank you so much man!
