Done everything till the import... the plugin is installed and running, clicked it and set things up, only Standard shaders could be selected. All OK till there ( 2:11 ) but no CC folder was created, no sign of anything from the plugin there. I'm basically stuck there. I truly hope your support is better than the guys at Unreal, because real time help nowadays is an absolute "must have" for any serious company. If all things go right with my art project I should be in constant need of new characters for crowded art exhibition environments with real viewers with their avatar of choice, so I would definitely be happy to use this resource of yours because I like the overall thing about it but has to work like a charm, which means easily accessible up to date documentation above all because I found little but still annoying mismatches are all over the place and that's not good for professionals in need of smooth production and development procedures. I hope my concerns weren't brutal but rather helpful. Cheers!
When importing the fbx into unreal my engine crashes, i installed everything correctly and never had this issue with importing from Character creator. Is there a fix for this?
Well shit. Half of those Sci-Fi and the Fantasy characters I'd already purchased from Xurge through the content store and at a lower price than what you are charging on the Actor Core site. I mean 18.00$ for the Nano-Suit Male and Warlock Male from the content store vs $30.00 on the AC store. So you guys are over charging the actual creator of the product. If any user tried that with their content, you'd ban them pretty quickly.
Reallusion either is desperate to make money or else they wouldn't nickle and dime you for every single thing. They make Adobe CC subscription look like a dream.
Hi Sabertalon Studios and RareBird Games, Thanks for your comments. Actually what ActorCore offers is complete full-body characters and they are also different from the standard 3D people in the market. The ActorCore characters are low-poly, fully-rigged with facial, body and lip-sync animations. They are light-weighted and designed for "crowd rendering" for any scenarios, particularly business simulations, game and film. You can easily export them to the major 3D tools - fully controllable to animate in your production. In addition, ActorCore characters are different from those of Character Creator or a piece of outfit. For more information about these differences, please refer to: www.reallusion.com/content/characterspec/ ActorCore offers free actors and motions for users to get started and test. You will then see why our 3D characters are unique and why they are totally worth the value. Simply sign up and download. Try it out! actorcore.reallusion.com/actor/free
@@reallusion Okay, I can see the desire of having the low poly for background crowds, been using the characters I make in CC/IC7 in Unreal 5. Having a hundred characters in a crowd on a street is still pulling quite a bit using the high poly characters, even with using Nanite on the background as a whole. The main characters in my films are all highest quality or Metahumans were needed.
@@RetzyWilliams That may be the case, however I'd still rather buy the higher quality models and characters from the content store. The low poly characters might be alright for crowds as RL commented, but I still can't see myself buying them for 30$ a pop.
I am thinking this is outdated eh? I am trying to follow you on the blueprint and it doesn't have all you are showing in that order :(

Do you have an updated video showing how to import the actors and animations? This one seems to be outdated and I get numerous importing errors.

This is great but ...waiting on the workflow for Ue5 as 4 is becoming obsolete now. Any info on using actor core and motions in Ue 5??

I think it's a great thing.
But, Does iClone become a part for other software or pipeline?

Does actor core work in Cinema 4d?
Yes ActorCore does support exporting to C4D. Reallusion is preparing for the learning materials for users now. Please stay tuned.

They are not desperate, in fact what they are counting on is that you and I are desperate enough to buy a low poly character for $30.
