Wow! This video is insanely good, you couldn't put in better words. Even tho I hit masters and knew most of the stuff you said I couldn't agree more. The channel is pure gold for all the players that lack the bases (98% or so) I learn A LOT with you vids. Half an hour of pure knowledge. I believe you will make it big!! Cheers 👍💯
Thank you. There is a lack of fighting content for some reason and this is a great addition to the best mid guide on UA-cam. Please keep it up! Your content is great.
Mostly just a front to back control mage that's trying to put out as much damage as possible, you can pretty much just hit whoever is closest to you and you only really need to think about positioning to not die and placing your W well
This alone made me go up by a whole rank, and Im still climbing. Thank you so much. I have a quesiton. For target priority what is the hierarchy of things that make an enemy better to take down?
Really enjoying this series, great work and thanks for putting so much time into this! What would you say are the champion identities of Hwei and ASol?
Hwei is a poke mage that sometimes has to play front to back, but can often fish for damage past the frontline. Asol is a scaling lane bully that initially plays teamfights front to back but will dive forward once CDs are used or HP is low
When you said about that syndra habit of yours, I remembered that I recently heard similar example in one of Coach Curtis videos. He wasn't mentioning any names, so now I wonder if it could be you he was talking about, as if the world really this small sometimes :D
Hm So for example syndra could peel for her team with an E into a stun somewhere or burst the backline, but she definitely doesn't have any way to disengage, much like vex, but also not a good way to get in I usually tend to position myself almost like an adc, is that right?
Legit just open up a list of champs and their abilities and think about each one!! Most champs have 1 or 2 abilities u gotta worry about. Take 30 minutes and go through a list. Blitz Q, Jax E, etc. Anything cc or that can one shot you - helps alot!!
Can you help me understand what Warwick's role is in a teamfight? I feel like he almost plays like an assassin where he wants to kill the backline with his ult. His E gives him great damage reduction though, and the fear disrupts the enemy, so in that sense he is a good disruptor. He isn't usually tanky enough to be "the tank". I am terrible at teamfights and could use some advice with him.
I don't play WW but to my understanding you try catch out a carry or peel someone off of your carry, it can also be a good idea just to play for splitpush since you tend to win 1v1 and can often 1v2
I've played a good deal of ww and the number 1 tip i'd give newer players on him is save your ult for either a last resort heal for yourself or to peel a carry. Lots of folks try to engage from range with ww ult and then just whiff. He usually plays like your average bruiser: some tankiness, some damage, some cc, and depending on how your team is doing, you'll need to engage, peel, or deal damage to best work with who is strong on your team vs suppressing biggest threats on enemy team with ult.
exactly, If you have a Malphite/Nautilus/Seraphine Ult, you can be the engage, if you have an Alistar Ult you can Tank everything, If you have a Lulu Ult you can peel allies, etc.
Yeah I think it does depend a lot on the ult, but generally Sylas will want to find access to the enemy backline, he's not super good at killing tanks quickly
I think Heimer is pretty good at creating a lot of early pressure, bringing the enemy jungler mid and playing for 1v2. In teamfights he's kinda just a control mage but sometimes you can engage with your E
Hello Mr. Shok! It's a pleasure to get a notification. [07:00-07:17] You noted that in these hypotheticals, your role can "change" based on the power budget of your team you represent. Is it better to default to how strong you are in the game, or follow-through with your identity in a given game? This extends your point about peeling for your ADC against the fed Riven. If you're also fed, is it better to abandon him/her and do you "job" of assassination, or should you still play for peeling by using your strength to threaten? *-A Troubled Taliyah Main*
Have you been playing any taliyah after the recent nerfs? I've found that my super greedy first strike and tear start aren't working as well. Wonder if you had any thoughts.
I haven't played her after the nerfs actually, I think she's probably a bit harder to blind pick now than before but she's probably still a good counter
what is twisted fate role in teamfights ? i'm learning mid with twisted fate, and i really aprpeciate his roaming ult, but once teamfights come, i just don't know what to do... if i hit a gold card on the ennemy frontline i don't find it very useful T_T maybe i should focus assassins ? i'm sure i shouldn't look for a flank.. or maybe ?
Normally you just try and stun people off your adc, or you can port onto their backline and follow up with stun onto their adc/mid if your team is diving them
Yeah, Viego is mainly about getting the first reset, so look for ways to either access a squishy or follow up other engage, normally if you engage first it's kinda hard for you
I'd say it depends on who's fed, it might be better to peel for you fed adc or maybe they have a really fed backliner that you need to shut down. You have some options for sure
Zoe is more about before the teamfight, finding poke over walls onto squishy targets to make the fight go in your favor. Asol imo you kinda just have to hit whoever is in front of you and look to CC important targets with Q or R.
Ty for the video it's so informative btw i need to know what am supposed to do as a shyvana should i start fights or go in after the fight starts also how to play a fight against morde kaiser cuz if we all go in he catches our carry in the ult and we mostly lose the fight i would be grateful if u help me😅
AP Shyv mainly play for poke with your E, On-hit shyv if you can ult into their backline it's ideal especially with a flank, if you can't tho just frontline and peel your adc (keep morde off them)
Syndra is mainly just front to back dps + you're looking for the chance to one shot a carry if they overextend, just focus on putting out as much dps and stuns as you can. Annie is more about fighting the opportunity to flash ult engage or finding a flank onto their backline
What are the champion identities and teamfight roles for these? - Swain (never sure whether I should initiate on a hook or not) - Diana (diving tends to get me blown up unless I’m really ahead) - Malzahar
Battle mages are best as well, Mages, Karthus got some insane range, DMG, Rumble got some tank draining, Swain is a front line mage, People build swain as a mage but a good enough build for him this season would be jacksho because he's so short range, And needs to be in enemy team, Diana is a diver, All she does is wait for engage or engage herself, Malzahar is an anti carry/peel, He's good at picks and peeling and stopping champions who need to dive in enemy team for pressure( yone yasuo jax irelia Camile ) generally all divers.
@@ShokLeague Thank you and can you think about making a sylas champion guide? Im currently in d2 looking to take my sylas to be good enough for high elo so i wanna see what u have to say about him :)

Also I love your videos and they have helped me improve greatly. Please keep up the good work man.

Its really reliant on the game state , if the enemy has a loser vayne 0/15 , and a gwen top thats 17/2 who would you want to focus first ?

Hey Shok, what do you think about Rumble mid and what do you think is his role in teamfights?
Pretty good champ honestly, I think mainly you're just looking to hit a big ult/follow up CC with ult. Fight in chokes if you can.
You are very good. Cheers from Brazil

What is Cho'gath Identity in skirmishes and teamfights? as a AP/Tank
Mainly just CC/disruption, if you can find a knockup into flash ult onto a carry it's great, otherwise you can just look to CC bruisers and stuff

+1 I.P. for that Azir play at [16:00-16:22]. That gave me chills to watch.
If you're strong most likely you just play towards what your champion's identity is, I probably wouldn't peel my ADC and focus on myself
