What I've learned from elite500 is that when you've got nothing to do with prio, you just have to hover your JG. You lose nothing and there's a good chance that a random fight will occur, which you'll autowin due to having +1 person
Never really gave it much thought, but I figured I'd try farming nicely until around lvl 7. After that I just shoved waves over and over and ran around the map, warding, hovering my jungle, roaming, whatnot. And it worked surprisingly well. Didn't give it that much thought into whether or not it's a good idea to shove, but just as an experiment it made me feel much more active on the map. So I can confirm that, even with a massive sample size of 1 game, that pushing waves and actually not just sitting mid, does make you feel more active on the map.
4:00 About farming jungle camps: I think you can farm ally jungle camps if you have a type of jungler that have priority on gank over farm like Fiddle or Shaco, or if you and your jungler have a Good timer for you farming the camp and him to take over the camp just when it respawns Correct me if I´m wrong, I just want to learn
Not sure exactly what you're asking, but yes you can take camps from ganking junglers although you have to be careful about when you do it. It's not good to take it when they are nearby
Amazing and helpful video! I would really like to see some sort of best one trick tier list video, I am looking forward on 1 or 2 tricking, but I don't really know who to pick.
imo it doesn’t matter too much. some of those high skill champs and champs with outplay potential can be great, but someone like vex can be amazing as well as she’s solid win rate and consistent and easy. pick what you enjoy playing. that’s the most important
Hey Shok. Love your videos and have always found them super helpful. I am transitioning to playing ADC full time. Is there a UA-camr that makes videos like you that you would recommend I watch to learn ADC better??
Could I request a melee mid guide? I'm strong enough playing control mages and staying even in lane until I outscale but next to zero confidence in playing melees due to fears of being zoned to oblivion by a syndra/viktor etc
I'd recommend checking out the lane phase sections of all my melee champ guides, also my videos on Zeka/Doinb cover a lot of good melee laning techniques
Possibly, I'm a bit skeptical of doing champ pool videos now because I think people miss the point that for the most part the best champs to play will just be the ones you're most comfortable on. I'll think about it though.
How do I know if I should create a Freeze instead of creating prio? If I know I can zone and threaten my lane opponent off of their farm, what other things (like prio for herald?) are more important and what things are less important than denying farm? Second, is there like a rule of thumb for balancing out Mana Usage and Wave Clear Speed, as in using less mana, clear the wave more slowly, but being able to stay in lane longer for it?
1. You can think if you can actually use the prio for anything, if you can't actually get anything done with your prio then you're probably better off freezing. It also depends on what your jungler is doing, if your jungler is farming his camps that's very different from if they are looking to start herald/invade. So you kinda need to pay attention to your jungler and other lanes as well. 2. No real rule of thumb, I suppose it depends on if you want to base soon or stay on the map longer. Obviously if you're basing next wave you can afford to use a lot of mana. Also if you're looking to make a play immediately then you'd want to use as much mana as possible to get yourself enough time, but if you're doing something not super time critical like warding it wouldn't matter too much.
Seems like there's some content creators from OCE like you, Coach Cupcake, Curtis, Udysof, Nathan Mott that makes a lot of high quality in-depth videos. Is there any top or ad main who's gonna start making these content ?
Most of those concepts are usable on all lanes. Here change drake by herald, roam bot by roam mid (or invade jungle), and you basically have the same attitude to have. The big difference is time. Wave management makes an even better difference on side lanes (bigger waves are stackable, freeze can expose your opponent even more, when you get prio you have more time to spend but also need more time for reset or roam cause you are furthur away from lane etc.)
What do you do when something is happening in river and u technically have priority to roam but your wave is like pushing towards them and they have the possibility of freezing it (or even if no one is there, your wave will delete there's and they get a stacked wave). I hate clearing the wave cuz it takes time/cd but I also hate letting my team die when I supposidely have prior. Not sure if u mentioned it in vid and I missed it
I find that pretty much every game, I get a disproportionate amount of jungle and support attention from level 2 (sometimes level 1) onward, regardless of my wave state. I've started defaulting to pushing my advantages by freezing to set up extended trades and keep my wave in a safe spot to farm. Is there any other way I can avoid inting when I'm pretty much playing a 1v3 lane every game?
Probably not, if you really are getting ganked that often though it could be several different things. Maybe you aren't adapting to the jg matchup, or maybe your champ naturally gets camped (e.g. yasuo). If there are 3 ppl mid tho what you are doing is basically all you can do.
Hey Shok, im planning to put all the Info i gathered from your midlane fundamentals videos into a mindmap for me to visualize and better understand all of it, i might even release it to reddit, crediting your videos in every subtopic ofcourse. would that be fine with you?
@@ShokLeague I have a question, When i chunk them when playing assasin I usally want to slow push , stacking up wave and trying to dive them to create massive lead or just straight out killing them when they missplay. So is that a ways to use mid prio or a game plan that I can use sometimes ? And should I tring to do that every single game ? ( because i usally love to playing assasin )
Shokingly good content
I'm always in Shok with this type of comments.

Amazing explanations as always, bless you!
You give so much depth to the game, that makes it much more interesting to play!
tahk you so much Shok your guides are always so well thought out and explained in really clear way.

@@ShokLeague Sorry about that, my English is not very good haha
Thanks bro, great videos and amazing content, keep on it

Thank you im learning mid and all these guides are really helpful
feel like this was made because of my coaching session. extremely helpful!
the bible of midlane has descended oncemore, thank you for your hard work!
You make great guides, Shok

www.youtube.com/@Arrowlol/videos is the best one I know of
I’m guilty of shoving waves and clicking in circles
Aren't we all

Do you have any information about your (if i remember it correctly) upcoming "Recalling like a challenger" - guide?
It will be the next concept guide, not sure when that'll be though
Shok can u do a video gameplay of yours with instroductions just like coaching your game
You mean like my fully explained videos? Or something different
Quality content. Keep uploading with high frequency, the algorithm will kick in sooner or later.

I'm trying to hit masters and your videos helped me to refine some mechanics that I always did subconsciously. Do you coach?

Sure, be my guest
How do i get mid prio on zed? Am i meant to use all my abilities to push a wave and then roam?
Normally you need to chunk out your opponent, and then you will get prio from them being scared to walk up to the wave
