I've been using it for the past few months and I like it. The quantity is definitely a learning curve though, because it does feel oily (to me) if I go even the tiniest bit over. It also helps the style stay for longer as compared to without any product (I haven't used any other heat protectants other than the Loreal Absolut repair oil serum to compare it to)
I've refused to try it for years bc it contains silicones lol. I instead use the Aussie heat protection spray and L'Oreal Elvive frizz killer heat protectant serum . I do remember when I was in my early teens and didn't know much about "good" vs "bad" ingredients I used a Pantene leave in spray that made my hair feel so soft and silky.
I've been using the tresemme heat tamer for 9 years now...love it! I love Eva NYC...i never knew it was an oil mist. I've been using that for 2 years & it's top notch. Plus, it smells AMAZING!!! And It stays in my hair for days! ❤
@@DahliaRosegz imo, no. I have heavy hair though. I don't notice it weighing my hair down. Maybe someone with really fine, thin hair would. I doubt it but I can only speak from my experience.
That’s so true about Tresseme. I have wavy/curly hair and this heat spray makes it curlier - but I don’t know why! Lol. I thought it was just me so I’m glad to hear someone else say it. But what’s the reason?
I had a very thick hair by birth, but I lost a lot of it during my graduation. I did not took good care of it. At a point, it was too thin. Then I realised and started taking care of it. I changed my diet, way of living life, and shampoos, hair oils, hair conditioners and it worked and helped control my hair fall. I ate more of green veggies and fruits of different colors. I did exercise 30 minutes day. I used liittileextra coocooniion shampoo, oil, hair conditioner. In last year, I have seen a very good change in my hairs. I'm not losing hair like before.
I use the Eva NYC and it’s so good, but it’s the pink container one. And it leaks and I think it doesn’t spray out enough product for me so since is leaks I just pour it on my hair and apply to hair

Have you tested the Eva NYC mist for fine hair? I keep seeing it at Target and I’m so curious how it works/feels versus the OG. I really like the OG, but it’s just to oily for my hair!
I can't use ANY leave-in products. The latest one I tried was K18 and it caused breakouts on my back ($75 down the drain). I stopped using it and the breakouts went away after a month. It's been like this for as long as I can remember. My bacne stays away as long as I don't use leave in products. 😢
it might be because a specific ingredient in them. you might want to see what common ingredients are in them and then try doing a process of elimination. argan oil has a low comedogenic score, but it makes me breakout in pimples no matter what it’s in from skincare products to haircare products.

I LOVE all your videos, Abbey! 😇 Do we use these leave ins as heat protection as well or do we need a dedicated heat protectant after these leave in sprays?
I think these are all multitasking sprays which mean they are heat protectants as well, they will protect your hair but if you want to be extra safe, I would also use a heat protectant if you don’t feel like your hair has been coated
What is your number 1shampoo and conditioner for oily hair ? I need shine . I have tried everything and I use eva NYC and about 6 others and it's still not shiny like other women's hair and I'm sad and going broke finding the best shampoo and conditioner
Myself I wouldn't depend on shine from shampoo and conditioner. Shampoo is just clean your scalp (ha I've really just learned this) But a leave in conditioner and perhaps a light oil would be more beneficial for you.
