the quality of this video is dope!! whats the internal set up? looks like you all are shooting at 30 fps 2160p are you all filming in log? did you add sharpening or a lut to the video? it looks great! thanks in advance!
New "sub".. Just got my first mirrorless, the Canon 6M Mark ll and I found your 'vids' & they have given justification for my new tools for my creative visions, once again.. I just found some "Sigma" lens that I cannot wait to use: 18mm f/1.4 and a 120-400mm APO IS USM, to name a few, for long range wildlife & more.. I hope Canon can catch up & produce some more mirror less lens for us... Thanks for producing more tips on how we can use what's currently available to us in the exponentially growing 'vlogger' market!!
Shoutout to Think Media for helping me decide on a new grip/handle for my Canon camera. Ordered the Gorillapod 3k and can’t wait to start using it! Think Media is the best place for all your camera/influencer needs!!
Rupi and Pardeep I also have G7X mark ii but I’m thinking about getting M50 for the shot that I just sitting and talking in front of the camera. I still enjoy bringing G7X with me to vlog outside 😁
Simply Angie you definitely could do, but for a roll head shots I’d recommend focusing on lighting set up and audio first. You can still come out with amazing footage from G7x ii that can be similar to m50
Simply Angie for sitting down a roll head shot, I’d recommend getting a mic that plugs into ur laptop or just a recorder, then sync it post, I wouldn’t recommend spending an extra £500 on another camera and then £100 again on a mic . However that’s just a suggestion, there’s no reason for you not to have an m50 with a mic! M50 has way more capabilities than G7x
@@hoghead_181 The flip screen was a big one for me but overall, i checked out the M50 for a longer period and felt like i knew it better. Super happy with the choice and now have a few more lenses for it.
What would be the best camera set up for a professional athlete to use for vlogging and capturing high speed activities such as pitching and hitting? Looking to step up my video quality for my channel soon! Thank you guys!
Great video! I’m using the M6 mark ii with the sigma 16mm 1.4 and a smallrig with rode wireless go. Which gimbal is the smallest I can get away with using? I switched to this setup from an iPhone 11 Pro on a DJI OM 4 gimbal
OMG it's an another great video, thanks! You inspired me to step up my photography and combine it with video! I have made a clip using your tips it makes me want learn and do more! I'd love some feedback if I'm going a good direction. I can't wait to start creating new and even better video thanx to your inspiration, Thanks!
For filter, it's better if you have a bigger size one and use step up ring if you have several lens. This way you could save not having several filters for each size.
3:30 recommend buying the largest filter you might possibly need and get a set of step-down / step-up rings, so you only need to buy one potentially-expensive type of each filter. Also fewer filters to carry around that way!
Omar, this is a great review video. What makes Think Media's review videos impressive is the amount of additional knowledge that is shared beyond the product review to improve the use of the product. It was great meeting you in Las Vegas last September at GWVL and look forward to learning from you and seeing you again. Answer: Is it better to use a shotgun mic or a wireless mic like the Rode WIreless Go when doing solo creation of videos and not interacting with others or needing the ambient sound? I am trying out using a Rode Wireless Go with Think Media's recommended BOYA BY-M1 lavalier mic for audio.
Panasonic GH5 &GH5S with firm updates has made the the autofocus and low light pretty incredible? If anything my good man that is worth a mention, no!? Yes price is a bit higher this is beast camera though. Keep putting great content out because you do. When you coming back Vancouver? Love your stuff.
I really don't know anything about cameras 🎥 i would love watching you guys making videos like " The best function a camera can have for vlogging🤷🏻♂️" or any kinda video. I can see it really depends on the budget for sure. I am most probably going to buy m50 and start learning with it but i like the videos from sony 6400.
LOVE your videos! After watching many of yours I decided to purchase the Canon M6 Mark II and after only a day I’m really liking it. My main question right now is about audio, as I can never seem to get great audio that sounds noticeably different from another source, like no mic or several other mics. I have 3 different Rode mics including the pro, but that’s obviously quite large for the M6. Is the mic you’re recommending really that different? Also, can you go more in depth on how to appropriately set audio levels in camera and on a mic? Thanks for your videos!
Most of us at the beginning have like 4-6+ yr old laptops. And with a lot of newer editing softwares it is just too much on our old machines. Sadly, a slightly newer PC is your best option - just not always affordable. You can also look into grabbing a newer smartphone that can handle some cheaper editing software - which a phone is something you're going to buy at some point anyways so see if that's better for you! ❤️
Thanks Cody Coffe Business....yes thats what my problem is... I wanted to buy one however cost is so much that we can’t afford since i am just a beginner. Sean what id your Suggestion here?
Hey there! Really appreciate the info services you all contribute. I am doing talking head video cousre recordings on Linux with OBS and coaching sessions on ZOOM. I've been using my Samsung Note 20 S for my tripod set camera. It's starting to feel too restricted to me. I'm thinking of a new Cannon M6 MKII with the Spectra 1.4 lens as most of my shots will be studio, though some person photo shots and web content. I'm using a Samson Q2u mic and Xenyx Q502USB Mini Mixer for sound. Is the M6 MKII something that will let me grow into webinar and possible streaming/recorded interviews as my skills as a content producer improve?
I think that a creator has some degree of responsibility with regard to their audience, to change, to give them something different, to give them something new each time, to give them something that they are not expecting, to try to surprise them and not bore them.
im trying time lapse for the first time with my m50 do you have any suggestions, videos, for my interior shots in a well lit warehouse setup (kit lens only) ?? im using a large battery pack plugged into a tether on the camera battery door. the battery is rated at 20k mAh 72 Wh..??
@@omarel-takrori4616 Perfect, I was trying to decide between these 2 cameras for vlogging purposes. Ill have to wait for your video before I make a purchase.
If I wanted to take this camera out urban exploring at night with a light source attached. What would be the best lense and would it be good quality in the dark. Really looking to buy this exact camera.
Good video, but I recommend including a section on understanding how cropped image sensors change the lenses’ focal length. Your recommended 16mm isn’t going to look the same on all cameras. 😁
For a person tight on a budget interested in youtube videos/vlogging in 2020 -> would you advise Mark 6 ii over EOS M50 (less features) or Sony A6400 (more expensive, lenses incredibly expensive for video rookies)? Thanks
So I am finally going start my youtube channel with this canon m6 mark ii. My question is which lens do I need to take photos of nature, family portraits, and vlogging? Help please!
setting up a gimbal to balance can be pain in a ass sometimes and another rebalance if your changing your lense. that's why gimbal is inconvenient for vlogging but if you dont mind doing those steps then your good to go.
