I've ordered from them and have never had a problem getting the item, and I received the items within a week. Lot of clickbait bs reviews on youtube about them. Saw one review on youtube where he says it take months to get anything from them from China. I've got the same track saw guide you have and it works spot on. I've got some t tracks from them that's the same thing Amazon sells for 3 times the price. Thanks for the review. Honesty is always better than clickbait bs.
Yeah, if I put Amazon affiliate links, I get a commission. Most of these were not similar, but the exact same for 50%-75% less. I can't see trying to get people to pay more so I can get a couple of cents. I received everything in one week. The only thing not as good is that you only get to mail back returns once per order for free. This order had 23 tems. Only one was not good, and one I realized was not what I wanted. I got to send both back for free. If I need to return anything else on that order, it will cost $8. It is still not a bad deal.
Cheers lad! I was dubious about picking up a few bits from them was looking at tools, EDC kit and some household bits pieces. Mighty give them a chance now.
I too tried them, almost laughing as I did it figuring I was about to buy another lesson. But I too was quite happy with the order. Have since ordered more "stuff" and have been happy overall. One pair of sandals were a bit small, but open in the back so I could still wear them, but other than that 100 percent pleased. I even purchased an off brand Arduino kit for 8 dollars (a real arduino is about 30, no kit). Got it in, hooked it up, tried a program and it worked! I immediately ordered 3 more lol! I use them to blink LED's in artistic ways. Again, just overall I have had a good experience with them. In fairness, I have overall had good luck with Amazon as well, but the prices are indeed higher on Amazon.
@@ShopRamblings They are neat little "computers". If you know anything about programming they are easy. The Uno has about 20 pins. (the Mega has around 70 pins. It would take a few vids to actually cover it, because it would not be a simple quick build. Still finalizing the dream lol!) These pins can be configured in various was as outputs and inputs for various tasks. Though they can control all sorts of devices like motors, meters, many things, I use them to sequence thru patterns I create with LED's for marquees etc. But I go one step further and create faces, hearts, animals etc. and then cause the lights to "dance" in patterns to create unique effects. Electronic art lol! If you aren't familiar with how to program then, Paul McWhorter does a great series on youtube how to program them. It's really not that hard to learn, tho you may already be familiar with that sort of thing.
I want to build a kinetic sand table. I have all the mechanics built. I ran into issues programing the steppers. I should have gone with an Arduino but went with a different board. I never got it figured out. I will try to finish it again when I have some time.
@@ShopRamblings Good luck! I'm just a hobbyist/experimenter so no expert at all. I know how to make it do what I want it to and not much else lol! But as a need arises, I just search online for an answer. This internet is unbelievable!
Thank you for this video. I have had the same experience on Temu, which made me feel like I had been seriously ripped off by third party vendors on Amazon. When I did my comparisons, most of the products were IDENTICAL! The others were only different because one had a brand name stamped on them. However, all were marked made in China!!! In fact, it made me wonder if that brand had their items manufactured by that same factory, but paid the factory to apply the logo before it was shipped. Some of the markups on Amazon were as much as 400%, which told me where all of the negative remarks about Temu are coming from-all of those Amazon vendors that have been exposed!!!
Many factories will make the same product and put several different brand names on it. The more people who want to a profit off the same item, the more you have to pay.
I'm a repeat customer of Temu. Love them. Great deals. Amazon was asking 30 dollars for a pair of heavy duty multi purpose shears. Temu had exactly the same set for 12 bucks. I bought a second pair for my son for his work. Word to the wise, their kitchen shears are razor sharp. High-quality steel, very well priced and a little more effective than I expected.
Got some fishing stuff from TEMU, good quality. The problem with TEMU is they send you advertising 3-4 times a day. Lastly some people have said not to download the App as it does come from China. The concern is the APP may be able to access data on your electronics.
I've been seeing Temu ads for a few weeks and immediately thought it's a rip off just because of the prices. I'll have to reconsider now. Thank you for this review.
Hah. I just purchased that marking gauge myself. It arrived a few days ago and I am extremely impressed by its quality, especially considering the price.
So far almost everything I've gotten on temu has been good. Recently got a set of leatherworking tools. Waiting for it. Hopefully it will be just as good quality as everything so far.
I have an online store and was going to start selling thru Amazon, but after looking at all the steps and BS that they make you jump thru to sell on their website I decieded not to sell on Amazon. The % they take, the packaging they require, the number of stock they require to sell are all just so complicated that for a small business I just found it outrageous and would have to increase my prices by more than what I sell them for on my website and so it made no sense at all.
Big companies make it hard for small companies to survive. I owned a business for 13 years. It is the large parent companies that buy up enough of the competition that they control the market. They make it where the average person can no longer achieve the Amercan dream.
Why would Amazon want you to fail? If you sell, they get a cut. They set the bar high to provide a better shipping experience. Who likes items in a crushed box such as shipped by temu?
I can honestly report items I’ve received from Amazon have been in damaged packaging from their distribution warehouse. Some of those items have been damaged due to the improper packaging
The router bits are the same cheap ones you get off of Amazon. They last for a while. The bits I use a lot I buy Freud. Writing this down, I just realized that while a Freud bit may last 4 to 5 times longer, it costs 10 times as much. I might be better off buying extra of the cheap bit and replace them as they get dull.
I buy from Temu all the time, which is a really good price. My only drawback is that it takes a very long time to get your product. But seeing as it comes from China and has to go through inspections, I understand . Tumu is not a scam, but again, you have to wait forever to get your purchase
I waited until their reputation improved. Discounts, money back guarantees, free returns (some really cheap items come faulty but they usually just tell me to keep them and a refund is on the way). Started out with small orders and then I made bigger orders.. No complaints at all. Mailman says he delivers HUNDREDS of these orange bags in my small town. Load up on their sanding pads for mouse and orbital sanders. Cheap and great. Grit down to 3000 grit to polish car headlights!
I saw where they are trying to reach a goal of total sales. They don't care if they lose money on the sale. They want the million in investments. If they are still around, I am sure the prices are going up after October. I am going to stock up before they raise the prices.
You really have to watch closely at the descriptions and price. I have found generally most items that seem like a good price are good quality, Items that seem like a great price are low quality. Overall I got some good deals.
You did well. I had a couple of losers. Placed an order tonight for some T Track and Hold Downs. Ridiculously Cheap. They made me a personal deal for the two hold downs. $5. Had to buy them. Two 500mm T Tracks $10.
I have had a couple of duds. They have never given me any issues returning them. I just ordered a bunch of different t-track stops and brackets along with different types of extrusions. I am going to make a router fence. It's definitely a lot cheaper than any pre-made one I could find.
I bought some hard-to-find and costly, large fishing floats from Temu. I was not disappointed. The only thing that disappointed me about the order was they only had one of the other large floats I wanted in stock. I tried it, and it was fantastic. I need to order more fishing equipment and see if they have those other large floats I wanted. Amazon has some of the floats I bought. They were way more expensive.
It seems that there are multiple vendors for the same items. Their search can be difficult, but use can sometimes you can find a different listing for the same item. You can also leave and out of stock item in your cart, and they will let you know when it is back in stock.
I found the site a month ago and made four purchases. One order did not have all items, so I contacted TEMU. They automatically credited my account without any hassle. I will be using them again!
Thanks for this video. I had some woodworking tools in my cart and was a little leery to order. My wife and i both order from temu. I'm waiting for an order to come right now. Every time my wife orders she orders a surprise for me. The last time i ordered I got her an a nice top, this time a cheerleader outfit. 😂 Even there clothes are good quality.
Down in Aussie have bought many Temu tools. Been all good so far. Some 1/3 price of eg name brand .Are exact items in quality. Had worse issues with Flea Bay in past.
I recently used them for the first time and for £10 ($13) I got 4 items. I was shocked to see when they arrived, they were the real deal, tools. It only took 9 days to arrive too. I’m still waiting for the catch because as it stands right now, I’m ahead and these days, the consumer is never ahead. I’ve made another order too.
@@vinster8884That's why you should use a prepaid card like I use. Only add money on it when you want to order something online or set up autopay for your phone bill, etc
You do realize China sell some real deal items as "copycat - look a like" brands right. They do an excellent job of making them look like the real deal when I fact they aren't.
It is probably based on the item and return reason. I chose I ordered the wrong item. It was still an easy process. I am waiting for another delivery now.
Thank you for sharing (what I have personally discovered as well)! TEMU's stuff is cheaper (i.e., less expensive) than Amazon. Love your side-by-side, split-screen comparisons. Free delivery and very quick too. They also have 30 day Price Adjustment Policy. I had noticed that a few items that I had bought went down in price. I followed their protocol and they checked by ENTIRE order (not just what I found) and refunded the difference. TEMU is also 'Customer Friendly'. My satisfaction is valued and NO hassles (unlike Banggood) on any item that doesn't meet my expectations.
I love Temu and I have ordered a ton of things for my resin craft. I was only disappointed with one item and that was a silicone mould but I have ordered another as it was pennies to buy. I have even bought some home items and I have been thrilled with the qualitly of the products. I won't go to Amazon again as they are too expensive.
I read an article about how Temu could sell so cheap. They are loosing an average of $30 per order in an effort to break into the American market. So enjoy it while you can, it won't last.
The type of metal and hardness cannot be determined without instrumentation. Cutting tools could be made from pot metal and you wouldn't know until you use the tool.
You are correct. The router bits I received were the same ones I get from Amazon. So far, they are performing the same as the other ones I have used for years.
I've ordered a good few small tools like this from Temu. Happy with every single one so far (Where does anyone imagine the large platforms get their items from ?)
I am glad to hear it. I have bought several more nicer items. I haven't opened them yet. I felt more confident in buying more expensive items after my last order.
I was skeptical about Temu but I’ve seen 2 other reviews and they seem to be pretty good. Bangood and Wish ( which are the basically the same company but different name) seem to be counterfeit items for the most part.
When you get cheap router bits check the thickness of the carbide, and the brazing where they are welded to the body. Quality control puts the faulty ones in another pile.
I have so many projects I work on I have parts and tools I bought years ago and have never used yet. I have boxes sitting here unopened from Amazon. I buy what I can when I can. I hope that I will not have to work anymore one day. When that day comes, I don't want to run out of things to do because I don't have the tools I need. So, an extra 3-4 days wait to get 3-4 times as many tools is easy math for me.
There is no inspection US imports below $800 come in tariff free. Also they take advantage of the international postal systems to ship things the so the destinations country ends up swallowing the shipping costs (tax payers) because of treaties that have been signed. If you are good with that keep using them.
The outrage should be at the politicians who pass the laws. They are the ones that let the Imports in. They are the ones who passed the law that if you receive over $600 in a year through PayPal or similar, 24% gets taken out and sent to the government. With 3.4 trillion in goods imported last year, they think the best way to raise money is to let foreign countries to get a break as long as each single transaction is under $800 while at the same time taxing Americans that recieve a combined total of $600 over a year.
I also have loved basically everything I've gotten from Temu. Even their shoes are fine, comfortable and cool looking, for plastic shoes, hehehe, but sadly they don't always have my size, which are more or less showshoe size 14. They always have the standard up to US12 sizes. One thing, make sure you check that the size of new tool bits or cutters fit onto your power tool, as there are several sizes of the bore diameter for things like Angle grinders. Most of their amazing selection of grinder wheels for every material under the sun are the pretty standard 22mm size. I got a few that were too small, but my step drill bit will fix that for the plastic one, and the metal one was just a tiny bit tight, so a mini grinding wheel fixed it right up. My fault, I didn't pay attention. Similarly, I got a blow torch burner head for a few bucks and found it doesn't fit standard propane bottles, but later found it is the size for Butane bottles that are used for kitchen browning, which will be my main use, can't get that steak done fast enough. They are also more food broiling rated with super high heat output, so not for fine soldering and brazing. One reviewer had a good hint, was to take the torch burner off the bottle when not in use, so you don't have to rely on its having a good seal, and not leaking. Simple for something I don't use that often, at least until meat comes down a tad.
What ever happened to the slogan: "Let's Make America Great Again"....maybe they should add.... "By Supporting Our Aliy in China". Who wins long-term when.people support China to eventually flood the world malrket, then dictate prices once its too late to go bsck. Their cheap look-a-like... copy cat items that simply won't last the distance
How was the hand planer spoke shave looking tool ? I noticed you returned it, but i have been looking at those for a while now. What did you think of that one ?
I have never had one before, so I don't know what it should be. The opening around the blade was jagged. I don't know if it was supposed to be, but it was not flat. It was only $5, so I might try another one.
@@ShopRamblings same with me. I'm better with a draw knife or chisel. That's why I thought that little gadget would work for me. Thanks for showing where to get it for 5bucks. You didn't test it before you sent it back? I'm curious how it worked for you.
The temu products are usually the same ones that are advertised the same on facebook. The difference is the products are shipped from china instead of through another party.
from what i understand our post office subsidizes shipping from china by chinese companies to the point it is almost free. our government is destroying this country with this kind of insanity.
It's a sad fact that almost everything we commonly buy is produced offshore. It hurts to say it, but Chinese tool quality has improved, at least in terms of fit and finish. Chinese metallurgy is at best suspect and from personal experience I know they will substitute inferior alloys if they can get away with it. Ordering materials certified to a specific standard can be a joke, on the purchaser.
I agree. China doesn't have the regulations we do. They will make it as cheap as they can get away with. Like with anything if they know they will be held accountable to a high standard they can. For years, most iPhones were made in China, but you don't think poor quality when you think iPhone.
I have bought more than a few items and I have no complaints, items are pretty good, more than good, delivery has been awesome. I guess it will always depend on the item you buy at the same time no situations yet 😁
So far, so good for me. I am worried about an item th at hasn't yet delivered. Several of the pictures are of a name brand tool, including the part number. After I ordered, someone left a review saying it was a cheap knock-off. If so, I will be sending it back for free.
Bottom line is when your doing this for a job you buy the best products you can afford because one, they give you the best finish and two they become cheaper because of the longevity. Cheap tools are fine when your a DIY guy for the same reasons. However I can tell you that working with top end tools are far more enjoyable if you can afford it.
When I owned my company I had specialty knives that were almost a thousand dollars each. Woodworking is a hobby for me. I can't justify buying the best of tools I don't know if I will ever use. I like buying decent tools and if I use them enough I will replace them with better one. I have a ton I bought that I thought I would use and never did. I have others that are fanatic to have for that special need I may only have once a year. I am sure they would break if I used them every day but have held up for years. If I only had the option of the more expensive one I would have to do without. I agree it is enjoyable to work with high end tools but it sucks more to have to jerry rig something to make do than use a decent tool.
I find myself just browsing all the different things they have. They have all kinds of things I have never seen before. I can't decide what to get. Everything is so cheap, then when I check, my cart is several hundred dollars.
I wish there was a tool for making one easy straight cut across the top of a plastic bag with no risk of damaging anything inside? And then my 5 year old told me about scissors.
@@ShopRamblings And you don't have a single pair of scissors within a couple of paces of that very nice workshop of yours? Wow. It may not be of "great value", but it has 'value' or you wouldn't have bought it and you even said in your video that some of the items were very good. Hey ho.
@@ShopRamblings I did wonder if you would bother attempting a counter to my last comment to you. I take it you did have a pair of scissors handy and that there was something of value in the package? Apology accepted. Handy hint - A nice, quick straight cut with scissors would make it easier to use the same packaging to return the valueless items... that you bought for some bizzare reason. You're welcome😁.
In this video I had my original 36-725. Check out my video on the O'Skool router lift. I got a new 36-725 T2. I liked the original better. It ran on 220v and was much smoother. I believe it is the best saw you can get for under $1000. A cabinet saw would be nicer for most but in my small shop this is the best option. It has the long fence. It is heavy and stable but has wheels and can be easily moved when needed.
One reason I do not put links for TEMU is that the product constantly changes along with the links. They also have a terrible search. I have e not been able to find a product, then check back in a few days and find it. I think they take the link down when it is out of stock.
Thanks for sharing this Robert! I've heard mixed reviews about them, mostly POSITIVE! Seeing as how almost everything IS made in China anyway, why not get it cheaper. I don't like Amazon, so I don't use them, I use ebay and can get the same thing for WAAAAY cheaper, but now, I might have to try Temu.
I just placed another order. I should get it next week. They are a little more expensive items. I am planning on doing a more in-depth review of each tool.
I've been using Temu and aside from slow but FREE shipping, read the description carefully. That was mostly me trying to figure out metric vs imperial on hooks. Great place to get cheap hardware like hooks, hinges and even knows. Thanks for your review, now I have to order a couple more things for the shop.
I know it is aggravating to get the same ads over and over. I think there is a button you can click on an add. You then have to option not to receive ads from them any more.
You are correct. The one I got had two versions. A micro adjustable and a non micro adjustable version. I could not find the exact one I got on Amazon. If you look at the side by side screen shot of the price comparison, the one on the Temu web page is the exact one on the Amazon page. That way I comparing apples to apples. If I compared the micro adjustable version to the non micro adjustable one that was even cheaper would not have been fair. I am sure the listing have changed by now. They are constantly changing. I try to be as fair and honest as I can. That is one reason why I show the page rather than saying to price since I have no control if the change the page and make it look like I am not telling the truth.
The one I had actually got was out of stock when I was making the video. On TEMU, if it is out of stock, it will not let you pull up the listing. I felt it would be more accurate to show identical listing when comparing prices. I was figuring someone would say something, but you are the first out of almost 90k views. Good eye.
They don't have static links like Amazon. Search "track saw square." Be sure it is the right one for your track. There are 4 different models, I believe. The description can be a little tricky to figure out.
The code applies to new app users only. I've got a TEMU order on hold, I'm just waiting for a coupon code but I don't think I'll ever get one at this point.
The quality is not good the clothes are very odd sizes they say go a size bigger but I would say go two because nothing I tried fit lol, there was a few things of my order missing I contacted them oh just take a photo of what’s missing ? Really still never got what was missing and Amazon do get their stock from the same supplier
My wife has been buying household items for unbelievably low prices. After seeing your video and reading the comments I placed an order. got $30 off $100
As long as the government lets them keep importing thing are not going to change. I don't make enough to pay a middle man more for the same item. If it is already being shipped here, I might as well get it at the best price.
The report I seen that made me try TEMU said they are trying to reach a sales goal and don't care if they lose money doing it. The goal is by October. So they may start raising prices after that.
Shipping is free. The only difference is you only get one free shipping return per order. So if you order 10 items you can return five items at one time for free. But after you've made your one free return if you want to return any additional items then I believe it's 7 to $8. I returned two of the items I purchased and there was no fee and I received my money within a couple of days.
That would be irrelevant now TEMU has raised most of their prices. I have not buy much other than cheap consumable from the recently because of their price increases. They still have some good deals but I always double check their prices to Amazon. If I can get it the next day for the same price why wait.
You definitely have to read the description. I have only received a few items, not as described. I always make sure to do returns if they are not what I was expecting. They lose money having to do free returns, so if a vendor is misleading and has a high return rate, they get kicked off.
Everything I have brought from them, except electronics has been top quality. All the electronics/computer parts have been fake or don't work. It seems the dodgy sellers that have been kicked off off Alibaba have moved over to Temu.
Temu being the new kid on the block is trying hard to catch up with the other players. This includes them producing their own review videos like this one and making half of the comments in the comment section.
Agreed, TEMU is the new kid trying to catch up. They had slashed their prices, but they are now going up. They had nothing to do with producing this video. I am a one man outfit. Right or wrong, good or bad, it was all me. If they had, I am sure it would have been much better. As far as the comments, they don't seem any different or more than comment on any other videos. But I can't say for sure who posted them.
What kind of turned me off of Temu is that the first thing I saw them advertising to me was an NFA Federal felony offense. What was clearly a firearm suppressor claiming "reduce the noise created by cars for..."
They tell you the expected delivery date. All the packages I have received arrived within 2 days of the expected date. I had one order split into 2 packages. Both arrived 1 day late, and I got a $5 credit for each.
No, I am not. After this video got popular, they contacted me. I responded that my non-negotiable was anything I said would be honest and truthful. I asked for the video requirements before before agreeing. I was getting emails every day until then. I haven't got another since. It would be nice to get stuff for free, but it is not worth it to me if they get to control what I say about it. I am sure I will make some more orders soon.
I suuport temu. I buy them n its good. I Support Chinese goods. Pay more n you can get good stuff. Pay plastic money? Then be prepared to get plastic goods. As simple as that.
Did they give you a refund? I know this was common on wish. I have 238 comments on this video. You are the first person who has said they were sent a different item. I would like to know how they handled it in case I make another video on them.
@benjaminkiser2938 Most Facebook ads are scams. If I see something advertised on FB that I want. I will Google search for it. Many times I find it on Amazon for half as much, or I find it sells for 10x as much. Then I know it is definitely a scam.
yes sir. i get all kinds of things from aliexpress these days. I always try to find what I need on Ali or temu before amazon. a lot of the times you get BETTER stuff for vastly less money. the only issue is the shipping isn't crazy fast and the returns aren't always so easy. but I've had only a few returns and they just refunded me and didn't make me send it back. just take a pic and write why I don't like it. And just imagine, these items are still sold for a profit. this same stuff costs a fraction of what it's being sold for on temu inside China. And these clowns in congress want to put massive tariffs on all this so it won't be affordable to us anymore. Meanwhile in China, they're living longer than we do in the US and most folks own 2 homes with little to zero debt. We need to fix ourselves before pointing fingers.

Many of the tools I got from them were the same ones from Amazon, but cheaper.
Only had a few tools from them but quality was top notch no complaints at all
I have had many excellent items from Temu. Great prices and very good quality, both tools and a few electronic items. Can't fault them.
Thanks for sharing
Got some fishing stuff from TEMU, good quality. The problem with TEMU is they send you advertising 3-4 times a day. Lastly some people have said not to download the App as it does come from China. The concern is the APP may be able to access data on your electronics.
I had to turn notifications off for them. In their settings, they have about six different categories to set for text, email, or off.
@@ShopRamblings Yepper!
Bruh Amazon straight up give you a device that listens to you 24/7.
I've been seeing Temu ads for a few weeks and immediately thought it's a rip off just because of the prices. I'll have to reconsider now. Thank you for this review.
That is what I thought also. I was pleasantly surprised.
Hah. I just purchased that marking gauge myself. It arrived a few days ago and I am extremely impressed by its quality, especially considering the price.
I was happy with the quality of all the items I bought except one. It is heard to believe the price.
So temu is a good business.
So far almost everything I've gotten on temu has been good. Recently got a set of leatherworking tools. Waiting for it. Hopefully it will be just as good quality as everything so far.
Fingers crossed!
I've ordered quite a few tool items from Temu and I'm impressed too! I've probably saved at least 40% and in some cases even 60% over Amazon.
Same here. I am waiting on 2 more orders now.
ditto below. I got a 5£ discount for late delivery and I saved a lot of money when stocking up for various tools and other bits. No complaints.
👍
@@elained9591 how often is the question. My experience is much less than 5%. With temu, pretty much everything that can be crushed is crushed.
@@mmm-mmm much less damage then if it was crushed by other packages in the plane/truck. Temu items even stick out of the plastic bag 😂
I do wonder how long everything with an edge will keep that edge, or if it's cheap soft steel that dulls quickly
The only purchase I have received only took a week to get.
I've ordered twice and both arrived in less than 10 days. They have a 10 day delivery guarantee or you get $5
Same, but I live in North Idaho.
It actually DOES NOT have to go through inspections. Anything under 800 is free of import duties and inspection.
I have been happy with TEMU they even gave me a discount for a late delivery.
I had made two orders. They combined them into one package. It was a day late but got paid twice for it being late.
I purchased a few things from TEMU and they weren't bad it just took almost a weak to arrive what i like about Amazon is they deliver in two days.
It was almost a month after I received the package before I even opened it. I just don't order thing I need in a hurry.
@@ShopRamblings Good for you but most people don't have the luxury of waiting a month to open something they ordered online.

Temu is a great place to shop. I am a big fan.
It is. If I am not in a hurry, I will check TEMU and Banggood after Amazon. All three will have different models at different prices.
@@ShopRamblings There is a review "Is TEMU a scam". Here it is. It's good. ua-cam.com/video/gSh-aV1CK9Q/v-deo.html
All I have heard is good stuff about them. The only negative I have got has not been from people who have never ordered from them.
I have a couple of packages from them. I have not had time to open it yet. If you wait until you forget what you ordered, then it is like Christmas.
Down in Aussie have bought many Temu tools. Been all good so far. Some 1/3 price of eg name brand .Are exact items in quality. Had worse issues with Flea Bay in past.
I haven't bought much from them recently. I have been getting more from Banggood. I may have to take another look and see if they have anything new.
Like you said, there are not many times the consumer can get ahead. I am sure it will not last. Might as well take advantage while we can.
Watch your bank card. You'll likely see some new charges for stuff you never ordered.

You do realize China sell some real deal items as "copycat - look a like" brands right. They do an excellent job of making them look like the real deal when I fact they aren't.
For me to return something I just needed to take a picture and they refunded the money immediately . It was great
It is probably based on the item and return reason. I chose I ordered the wrong item. It was still an easy process. I am waiting for another delivery now.
Same, I just took a picture, and 5 minutes later, they gave me a credit so I could get something else.
I had received one poor quality item out of 23 I ordered. It took 90 seconds to get a refund. Quick and Easy.
I have never seen anything from TEMU before, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
I love Temu and I have ordered a ton of things for my resin craft. I was only disappointed with one item and that was a silicone mould but I have ordered another as it was pennies to buy. I have even bought some home items and I have been thrilled with the qualitly of the products. I won't go to Amazon again as they are too expensive.
I have been happy with most items and the ones I was not, the return was easy.
@@ShopRamblings Awesome 🙂

The type of metal and hardness cannot be determined without instrumentation. Cutting tools could be made from pot metal and you wouldn't know until you use the tool.
You are correct. The router bits I received were the same ones I get from Amazon. So far, they are performing the same as the other ones I have used for years.
I've ordered a good few small tools like this from Temu. Happy with every single one so far
(Where does anyone imagine the large platforms get their items from ?)
Look at the label on Milwaukee power tools. They are made in China.
Your video was great, how you compared the items to Amazon. Thanks…
Many of the items are the exact same as Amazon.
No doubt cheap and decent quality. Who ever made them in China not at a good wage for sure.
If they want to sell it that cheap, who am I to argue.

I just bought an aluminum router table from tamu and it works perfectly. Bought it for $30. Adjustable height and all the fixings. No complaints.
TEMU doesn't claim to be name brand items from my experience so far. They are mostly generic items.
@@ShopRamblings i agree 100%. They are upfront where they stand.
When you get cheap router bits check the thickness of the carbide, and the brazing where they are welded to the body. Quality control puts the faulty ones in another pile.

Good deals if you don’t mind waiting weeks for delivery, whereas Amazon Prime can be just a few days or even overnight.
I'll pay more to support America. Cheap deals ? Keep them
I also have loved basically everything I've gotten from Temu.
Thanks for the info.

The Amazon of China I've been buying products for my two router's from them and been pretty happy with the items 😊
I have been happy with most, and the one I wasn't, they returned them.
I bought some chainsaw wheels for a angle grinder for about $5.00 harbor freight they are about $25 they seem good.

It is heavy and stable but has wheels and can be easily moved when needed.
i have tried and can not find the link on temu for the tools in your video could you please send them to me if possible the track saw guide
One reason I do not put links for TEMU is that the product constantly changes along with the links. They also have a terrible search. I have e not been able to find a product, then check back in a few days and find it. I think they take the link down when it is out of stock.

The marking gauge shown after the 3:00 mark is OBVIOUSLY NOT in any way, shape or form the same as in the screenshots shown.
The marking gauge does not look like the picture of the ad (with brass parts)
The one I had actually got was out of stock when I was making the video. On TEMU, if it is out of stock, it will not let you pull up the listing. I felt it would be more accurate to show identical listing when comparing prices.

I ordered 5/30/23 @ 11:13pm. I received 6/7/23 @ 7:31 pm.
I placed an order 7/3/23. It shows to be delivered between 7/9 and 7/14.
Temu rocks!
On some things.
@@ShopRamblings Fair point, I wouldn't want anything that was safety concerned. For shoes, kitchen storage, toys and the like; I think they're grand.
Everything I have brought from them, except electronics has been top quality. All the electronics/computer parts have been fake or don't work. It seems the dodgy sellers that have been kicked off off Alibaba have moved over to Temu.
Good to know, thanks
I haven't had any electronics issues, but I've been buying switching power supplies, led lights, and illuminated switches. They've worked excellently.
Doesn’t a lot of Amazon products come from China also?
Most of them.
I use them all the time
I don't use them as much as I did last year, but they still have some good deals.
What kind of turned me off of Temu is that the first thing I saw them advertising to me was an NFA Federal felony offense. What was clearly a firearm suppressor claiming "reduce the noise created by cars for..."
I haven't seen that.
Sometimes the delivery is long term
They tell you the expected delivery date. All the packages I have received arrived within 2 days of the expected date. I had one order split into 2 packages. Both arrived 1 day late, and I got a $5 credit for each.
On my 11th order. Every one has been 10 days or less.
Great to know about Temu, thank you.
But please stop cutting with your thumb in the way.!
Noted
Temu shoes for less than 10.00?
Are you a Temu paid presenter?
No, I am not. After this video got popular, they contacted me. I responded that my non-negotiable was anything I said would be honest and truthful. I asked for the video requirements before before agreeing. I was getting emails every day until then. I haven't got another since. It would be nice to get stuff for free, but it is not worth it to me if they get to control what I say about it. I am sure I will make some more orders soon.
I am in South Africa and I get the feeling that TEMU is hit and miss.......Amazon has standards......Temu haha
Same here.
I suuport temu. I buy them n its good. I Support Chinese goods. Pay more n you can get good stuff. Pay plastic money? Then be prepared to get plastic goods. As simple as that.
I am supporting myself. Half the stuff comes from the same place regardless of where you buy it from. I don't see the benefit of paying more.
You may not get the item that you ordered. Ordered two fold up chairs and got a small scarf watch out for scams
Did they give you a refund? I know this was common on wish. I have 238 comments on this video. You are the first person who has said they were sent a different item. I would like to know how they handled it in case I make another video on them.
@ShopRamblings it was not Temu but it was a Facebook shopping that linked to what was supposed to be QVC. My credit card Co. Took care of it.
That is some good point.
Thank you👍
