A lot of good tips, but you will want to consult an actual electrician to see if you can get away with some of the wiring shown here. While stranded conductors are more forgiving, there are bend radius restrictions based on size of conductor. Don't think you can go bending conductors however you want and think you won't run into a problem at some point. Additionally, you do not want to knot conductors. This will create a hot spot which can start a fire. Conductors are routed (and spliced) the way they are for a reason. Lastly, if you are having a problem with a plug, replace it with a listed one. Inside that plug where the terminals are is a seating surface that the screws tighten onto the wire and keep it in place. If the wire keeps slipping out, it means the plug isn't working properly anymore (or it was garbage to begin with) and you have loose connections. Loose connections means possible arcing, heat and eventual failure of plug and then - possible fire.

Yeah, any sensible electrician will laugh at you if you tell him the #14 tip. There is just to much "lose" there for potential fire start. Twist like the one marked as bad + a wire nut, or use dedicated stuff/terminals. If you need to do it spartan way and are scared stuff will get lose do the "bad one" and then bend the "naked twisted" part down and then tape over it, but frankly half the tips show soldering iron - solder shit if need be.

I bc wandered during times of cleaning my paint rollers like u showed for creating power. Just turning a roller w a water hose could create such energy. Thus as a water wheel turning a grinder. Each home could bc a system using a continued pressure water turning a wheel or roller creating energy. Reusing the same water over and over. Replacing little water over time.

Have you gone deaf? There's music all the way through the video. Gladly it's not loud like most of the others because this one knows how annoying that can be.

#24 - If you wanna risk getting electrocuted - then test burnt diodes that way. Most LED bulbs aren't really isolated and there can be full AC "available". Also just shorting burned led will either just bring back the bulb to live for a short period of time if its capacitive dropper style (cheapest) - cause one less LED changes ratios and the rest of LEDs will get higher current + they already are "old and used". If its current drive circuit then such a fix will reduce brightness/power, and bring the bulb back to live till next LED dies of old age. #27 - Just use anything - small wood piece, a newspaper, old telephone/credit card - no need to waste time on making a "glue cap" which will probably fall off in first try. #29 - Ah yeah - a trick of using a tool how the fucking manual tells you too - now this is such an ingenious secret/trick. Tell me how to do that on a cheapo jig-saw that doesn't have angling ability.
I might try the hot glue thumbscrew, might be good for light duty tightening. Maybe melting plastic into the box wrench form would be possible to get higher strength than the hot glue.
23:00 For those of you who don't live "across the pond", "white spirit" is mineral spirits or paint thinner. I Googled it so that you all didn't have to. You're welcome. :D
I switched off immediately when I saw what had been done to the cables at the beginning. Please don't do something like that, it can quickly lead to a fire.
Its proper name is a telegraph splice.Been used by the military for ever to repair or extend land lines of communication.I’ve used them along trench lines to connect perimeter bunkers to unit command in Nam.Radios were used in the bush and telephones used in LZ’s,Fire Bases, and unit compounds.Splice would be safe, but stranded wire is not used for residential construction anyhow. In old knob and tube residential systems(30s-40s)wires coming into the attic were T-tapped onto the line in a similar fashion and were soldered and friction taped.
I’m really impressed with the variety of tips! From sharpening knives to keeping LED bulbs functional, every idea feels so practical. You’ve made DIY projects much more enjoyable for me. Thank you for sharing!

Please explain???
Can you share more information about this issue?
It's the proper way to join wires before soldering, so I don't see why you couldn't do it that way without soldering and a little heat shrink
Οχι😊
