Welcome to Merlindale | A SHORT CINEMATIC

This is the official trailer for the Merlindale Nature UA-cam channel. A short cinematic that showcases the plethora of environments and wildlife found at Merlindale. Located in the southern uplands of Scotland, Merlindale is home to a mosaic of interconnected habitats (including the woods, meadows and river tweed) and an abundance of flora and fauna of all shapes and sizes.
Merlindale Nature CIC works to reverse habitat loss, with a particular focus on reversing the decline in wildflower meadows which has taken place over the last 70 years, this will restore nature and promote biodiversity. However, in order to accomplish this goal, meadow restoration and creation need to take place on a large scale. Hence, via various initiatives, we are promoting the reinstatement of wildflower meadows, both locally and farther afield, so that others can follow in our footsteps by making their own meadows.
