  • In this video filmed and edited by Alexander Lintott watch what has been happening at some of our many sites, in phase one of our Tweed Meadows Project.
Phase one possesses three key stages. Firstly, we must graze the land to ensure no dead grass from the previous year fertilises the soil making it harder for meadow flowers to grow. Secondly, if we are dealing with a completely grass dominated site (like a lawn), we must harrow the land to enable the wildflower seeds that we disperse the chance to make contact with the soil and grow. This leads us to process number three, the final process in phase one, which is seeding native wildflowers onto the prepared earth.
