Agreed both Hal and John,but Hal first as he's the original lantern(Oan lantern).They can swap spots in the justice league as thats what tjey do in the comics when one is needed by the Guardians.

I disagree with skipping the origins. To me, the beginning of a heroes journey is the most important. It establishes the character and it’s the beginning of their arc. I think this new DC universe needs to begin fresh and build up to a much greater and expanded universe.
Yea I agree with you. The main complaint is that people are just sick of watching origins that they have already seen. They are forgetting why the first avengers movie worked was because we had seen almost all of the characters and cared about them.
In my opinion, Man of Steel is the most perfect Superman origin movie of this generation. In fact, I believe that Man of Steel should not be abandoned. On the contrary, I think everything outside of Man of Steel should be abandoned, and then a Cinematic Universe should be built again from Man of Steel.

You don't need an origin story to use the hero's journey, the "ordinary world" can just be them doing regular superhero stuff. Besides I think the hero's journey is way too overrated anyway.
I think a Batman/Batfam TV show could be a good move. Matt Reeves can have the cinematic Batman for his run, and Gunn can make his universe feel lived in through the eyes of the Batfam.
The focus should be on the main characters and how they came together as a team. If you’re plan only covers ten years and you aren’t doing a Marvel and releasing multiple every year you have to jump right into the story.
It's not worth it to skip over Garth being Aqualad. In this new dc universe, Garth should be Aqualad, then be Tempest, and Kaldur should be Aqualad, just like in the comics.
I don't think the new batman will get a solo movie because there's already a batman movie franchise, I think he will just appear in other people movies like the hulk in the mcu and batman solo adventures will probably be in games and animation. However I do think that a nightwing movie is likely and I hope that the teen titans or titans is founded by Tim because it works better scince they usually have a robin as the founder
Haven't watched yet but I think the first or second new Superman film should be be based on Superman vs. The Elite. This could serve in someways as a meta commentary on the traditional versions of superheroes vs the edgy versions of superheroes that the Synderverse tried to make more popular.
Exactly. Superman vs Elite, with Kingdom Come visual references, hell I'd bring in the Actual Authority. Maybe Actual well done references from Jim Lee For Tomorrow and the Nu 52 Superman Unbound by Azarello and Scott Snyder which touched on military/political/ "real world consequences" adversary type stuff Zack Snyder tried to do, but actually tell a good intelligent story.

Agreed with most of this besides the fact that u think the first movies come out 2025.. its 2022 and the Superman script is already being written and it usually takes 16 months to film a movie.. the only movie they have scheduled for 2024 is joker 2 so they do need more films out that year and have all next year to start production on them
@bruhmanofyear2 I don’t think he is. This year we’re getting 4 DC movies (which has never happened) and Joker 2 comes out next year to hold fans over. I’m sure James Gunn will want a nice cushion in between the old universe’s final movie and his rebooted universe’s first movie to really distinguish between the two. So actually yea 2025 definitely seems most likely. Probably early in the year or maybe that summer. We’d be lucky to get it that soon tbh because usually rebooted properties take longer than a year to come out after the previous version of said property.
Perhaps with some origin stories they should do what several superhero cartoons have done in the past, immediately coming to mind would be Spectacular Spider Man and Danny Phantom. In both cases the hero begins already active, and then at some point we have an episode with Flashbacks detailing the origin (in SSM this occurred during the Venom arc, in DP it involved an evil genie necessitating them redoing Danny's origin). Particularly with the transmedia approach James Gunn is pushing, something like a comic book or cartoon could easily handle that part.
I think if we have this route then I would say that we could a tv show later on called 2021. This could have a season or two featuring each superhero’s origin. I just would want to see origins like Hal Jordan properly done in live action
I'm on the titans part of the video rn and I see one change I'd recommend making. Just like how the JL will already exist, Dick's Titans team already existed. Most adaptations now do this anyways. Both the Titans show and the teen titans movies in the DCAMU had the POV team be a second generation type thing. Maybe instead of the team ever separating, it just has a revolving door of members and older sidekicks like Dick grew up and left. Considering how their relationship is currently growing more in the comics, I think Dick and Barbara are gonna be a couple in this universe (which is my preference). That said it'd be fun to show dick and starfire used to date and maybe their breaking up is why dick no longer leads the team. Or have that happen in the first titans movie after some awkward scenes in previous batfam movies showing dick and Barbara have a lot of chemistry and they only aren't dating rn because dick is with Cory. Idk there's a ton of possibilities if they just plan things out a bit

This sounds like I good idea mostly, I would say have Martian Manhunter be our window into the established Justice League and instead of doing a Batman film, make a animated-spider-verse style TV/movie but with the history of the Batfamily, not to do with multi-verse just make it a hard animated film.
For me, I'd like to set my own DC universe in the 1990s and 2000s. Batman debuted in 1989. Superman debuted in 1992. Wonder Woman would appear during WW2 with the Justice Society. The Justice League would be formed in between 1995 or 1997 with the roster being the cast from the animated series. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash (Barry Allen), Green Lantern (John Stewart), Hawkgirl and Martian Manhunter. Any additional heroes would follow like Aquaman, Shazam, Green Arrow, and the teen titans.

You know what I think would be cool is if Hal Jordan was the SECOND Green Lantern of earth, and the first was Chip. So Green Lantern has to rise up the ranks to become the guardian of sector 2814. But no one takes him seriously until Hector Hammond surfaces, so the guardians send out Chip, alongside Hal as an assistant to Chip. But Hector pushes Chip in front of a yellow bus after discovering their weakness and kills him. Hector then teams up with a big threat (maybe Krona or Parallax) and the guardians still don’t trust or respect Hal but let him join the fight. Hal defeats Hector by the skin of his teeth and earns the title of the green lantern of sector 2814 and in the end or post credit scene. Convinces the guardians to allow one of his pilot friends (John, Kyle, Guy or anyone really) to become his partner and proves that earth needs more heroes and more green lanterns. And later, Alan Scott from earth 2 will become his mentor.
personally I wanted stephen amell to play as GA in the DCEU, james gunn could just say some people never change. I also think they should put ra's al ghul to be in the DCEU.
Introducing Batman in the DCU is hella easy (especially if it’s not connected to The Batman). Simply treat him as the Nick Fury of the universe, primarily reserved for small (but important) parts and team-up films. Meanwhile, Reeves can continue with his vision, so we still get solo movies-I don’t thing this new Batman needs them🤷🏻♂️ In the meantime, I’m with you, Nightwing/Oracle/Jason Todd can already be a thing. With the emergence of all these “metas”, Bruce spends much of his time anylizing them, leading to a Tower of Babel storyline in the first (or second) JL. Also, a smaller hero, like Blue Beetle, would be the perfect start to a new universe; something Marvel didn’t do was start the world from the perspective of a street-level, “normal” human. ALSO also: Brainiac is a sequel/finale level villain. I want to see Manchester Black and the Elite as the villains for the first Superman, better establishing this new Supes’ morals and standing with the world.

I kinda want a like 40-50 year old. King of the seas super powerful aquaman just to finally kill off the whole 'superfriends' aquaman. You could even have aquaman come in as sorta a villain like he sometimes does where he puts atlantis first and you could have him fight an inexperienced and over confidence superman in the sea would be cool
Just a couple issues I had with your pitch -It would be rather boring for Wonder Woman to be from the past again as the DCEU just did that -Having Dick already be Nightwing while making characters like Donna and Wally Tim's age takes away so much from both Tim and Dick. Each have there own set of friends that are important to their development. It's really not interchangeable. The New 52 did and basically just resulted in Dick losing almost all of his Titans friends. It make much more sense to just make Bruce be in about year 5-7 where Dick would be a teenaged Robin ready to form the Titans. -I know it sucks for Aquaman fans but I feel like you could just skip him and not make him a part of the original 7. What makes Batman, Superman and Spider-Man characters who can easily be rebooted is how much of a unique take each reboot is. Your pitch doesn't feel unique enough to warrant another Aquaman reboot. It sounds like it could just be another movie in the DCEU.
My idea for a new DCEU Would be: 1. The Bat Family- Which the villain would be Ra's al Ghul. 2. Superman- I would choose either Metallo or parallax. 3. Green Lantern- which would definitely have Sinestro. 4. Flash- Which will not have an evil speedster in it. Since I would hope James gun, wood, avoid in using the evil counterparts trope. 5. The justice league- Which could be the arrival of brainiac or either other cosmic thread, that is not dark side.

Cool ideas, but I think you're introducing a lot of the legacy characters way too early. The Batfamily already established I agree with, but Kid Flash, Aqualad, Wonder Girl, etc. shouldn't be introduced in the first solo films of The Flash, Aquaman and Wonder Woman. Legacy characters should be used for the longevity of the franchise.
Thank you for making Brainiac as a villain for Superman. Plus we can have the leader of the Legion of Doom/injustice League recruiting the defeated villains like Nick Fury assembling their own team.
Having a Titans team consist of Wally West, Roy Harper, Donna Troy while excluding Dick Grayson for Tim is a poor choice. You'd have Dick's team, with Dick's friends, and use Tim? While not using Nightwing in anything else anyway? Why establish a Bat-Family and not use it? Why bother establishing it then?

They shouldn't skip over Garth becoming Aqualad at all in this new dc universe, Garth being Aqualad is an important part of his character, so they shouldn't do that. It would be a mistake to do that. It was a mistake to completely skip over Garth becoming Aqualad in Young Justice.

That is way better than skipping over Garth being Tempest and having Kaldur be Aqualad right away. It was a mistake to do that in Young Justice. The comics did it better. They should do what the comics did and not what Young Justice did.
I like all this but you can not do some of the stuff you are suggesting off screen, not everyone knows comic stuff and its important for them to feel connected to characters. The biggest thing you have that you absolutely can not do offscreen is killing jason todd. That is such a big event you just cant. The other stuff would be fine as animated tie ins I guess tho
You know, I think the best thing to do with Batman for this universe is to take the Spider-verse PS4 approach and make him an already experienced Batman that is like a decade into his career. So I agree with you on this.
Dude you’re video is solid. However, Superman has to be the one to start his generation of heroes. You can’t have Batman operating for years, and even having a Robin and Batgirl way before Superman shows up. Gunn seems to be going more closely to the comics, and it was Superman’s debut that inspires other heroes to come out. Even Batman usually starts within 6 months of Clark’s first public appearance. As much as I’d like to see all the Bat Family, and we still could, you have to have Superman debut before everyone first, and the have the rest.
I imagine they'll hold off "Flash" longer, rather than have "Flashpoint" and its reboot come out three years apart. Anyway, this isn't 100% how I'd do it, but it sounds like a pretty good plan overall.

Here's what I'd do with the new Batman and JL trilogies in this reboot: Batman Legacy (this movie would focus on Jason Todd's origin as Robin. This could also be a Court of the Owls film with Jason already being Robin, unless Matt Reeves wants to adapt that story in his trilogy): The movie would begin with a flashback showing how Bruce and Dick had a falling out, which would explain Nightwing (and Batgirl) showing up in the rest of the film, then it would focus on Bruce, Jason and the villains (Two-Face as the main villain, since him and Jason have a personal history). Unless they played the Arkham games or watched the first three seasons of Titans, I don't think the general audience would be familiar enough with Jason Todd to start the franchise with the Red Hood straight away (there's also no setup for it unlike with the memorial in BvS). Batman: Death in the Family; This film would be a reinvention of the Batfleck movie, taking place mostly in Arkham Asylum with Joker and Deathstroke as the main villains (I think a lot of other villains should appear in this trilogy like how Penguin and Falcone were used in The Batman). Jason would obviously die in the final act (maybe Batgirl gets crippled and becomes Oracle too), and the after-credits scene would introduce Tim Drake. Batman: Under the Red Hood; This would just be an adaptation of the comic and animated movie of the same name, with Tim Drake as the new Robin. The post-credits scene could introduce Damian Wayne. Justice League: Doom; This film would act as a spiritual successor to the original JL film, with a League that has already formed fighting against the Legion of Doom. Justice League: Tower of Babel; an adaptation of the comic storyline of the same name, featuring new recruits on the team. Justice League: Darkseid War; This would be a loose adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths and Darkseid War, ending on a cliffhanger. Justice League: Final Crisis; The final fight against Darkseid and the Anti-Monitor, with the Snyderverse JL cast, Grant Gustins' Flash and many other alternate versions of characters returning to their roles to help stop the two villains.
I hope we get an Adaptation of Justice League: Kingdom Come to end the DCEU and see what happens to the heroes before the Flash movie aka Flashpoint which resets everything
personally nothing would make me happier but to see a superman movie when he's lot older in his career and he's married to his wife Lois lane and they had their son Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy as his little 10 year old self but if they are going to do a younger Superman which they are fine then maybe they could do a legion of superheroes movie alongside superman which I think would be a good idea at least in my opinion.

Shows Superman first days in Metropolis, the begining of his romance with Lois and he dealing with the pressure of being the city’s new hero. The villains would be Parasite and Lex Luthor. 2) The Batman 2 Fancast: Batman (Robet Pattison), Robin/Dick Grayson (Jaeden Martell), Mad Hatter (Aidan Gillen) Ventriloquist (Toby Jones) Plot: A noir detective story in the same way the previous film. It would Introduce Dick Grayson, as orphan who lost his parents in the flood of the previous film and was inspired by Batman to become a street vigilante. The Villains would be Mad Hatter and The Ventriloquist & Scarface. 3) Flash Fastest Man Alive Fancast : Flash (Lucas Till); Iris West (Lily James); Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp) Gorilla Grodd (Keith David) Plot: A “Sam Raimi Spider man” style super hero film. Barry Allen would be come the Flash and team up with Jay Garrick, a speedster from Golden Age, to save Central City from Gorilla Grodd. 4) Superman & Batman World’s Finest Fancast: Superman (David Corenswet); Batman (Robet Pattison); Robin/Dick Grayson (Jaeden Martell); Lex Luthor (Billy Zane); Black Mask (Jon Hamm); Metallo (Ben Barnes) Plot: A buddy cop style movie. Superman would go to Gotham and teams up with Batman and Robin to stop a gang war between Penguin and Black Mask (who is reciving weapons from Lex Luthor). At first Superman and Batman wouldn’t get along, however it’s their bond with Dick Grayson that inspires them to work together.. 5) Wonder Woman the Amazonian Princess Fancast: Wonder Woman (Daisy Ridley); Julia Kapatelis (Sally Field) and. Circe (Tilda Swinton) It would be a mix of Highlander with Percy Jackson, with Diana being establish as immortal warrior and member of JSA who has to return to action in modern times to help her friend, Julia, find her daughter, Vanessa, who was kidnapp by Circe. 6) Green Lantern In Brightest Day... In their adventure, they would meet with Hawkgirl, a space cop from Thanagar who came to their solar system after the white martians stole some thanagarian technology to execute their plan. The final scene would have Starro cameo and the Justice League fighting him (reference to New Frontier), revealing themselves as team to the world for the first time, with no one knowing about their adventure in Mars. That’s why the film title is Justice League SECRET origins.

Steve trevor now the leader of argus will form a team called the justice society and call diana to take part of this. At the end most of the team would die saving the world with diana traumatised returning to the amazonas home. 13.- BATMAN 3: set 10 years after the second movie, basically the dark knight returns with superman in it 14.- JUSTICE LEAGUE PART 1: brainiac would be the villain the movie. Superman, batman, wonder woman, flash, aquaman and martian manhunter would be the team roast. And old steve trevor death facing brainiac would be inspiring to finally unite the team, leaving his second in command amanda waller in charge of argus and the revelation that it was brainiac who destroys krypton by setting doomsday free. At the end lex luthor becomes the new president of usa and before being destroyed , brainiac set free doomsday on earth. 15.- GREEN LANTERN: origin story with hal promising to return to carol when the earth would need him 16.- JUSTICE LEAGUE PART 2: doomsday will be the main villain and hal would retun to earth to join the justice league in the fight. I imagine each saga having 2 phases, each phase lasting 3-5 years and having 5-7 movies. Phase 1: introductions, heroes are in a bad place due the jsa's assasination but superman comes in as their last hope Phase 2: superman teams up with other superheroes and the remaining jsa to defeat the legion of doom. The Jla is born. Phase 3: new metahumans are discovered everyday, among them is bart allen who omens a dark future. Cosmic side of the universe is explored. Phase 4: With time travel introduced, movies now take place in various times (batman beyond, booster gold, more speedsters). These leads to Jla the final frontier where the Jla defeat a time traveling menace (possibly Darkseid). Only to get a glimpse at the multiverse. Phase 5: Multiverse is explored. New generation of superheroes, farewell to classic characters. Jli is formed. Phase 6: dark multiverse is discovered. They defeat evil jla variants as a methapor of new heroes being the lead. New 52 is created.
What if the blue beetle trilogy was with each blue beetle that’s ever been instead of starting with Jaime start with Dan so mabye you can put him in a justice society movie then make a Ted cord movie and kinda of put him in other movies before killing him off like a booster gold and blue beetle buddie film or a justice league movie so in Jaime movie you can have an established booster gold kind of train Jaime to be the newest blue beetle kinda like the injustice comic books
Not bad, but it’s not my favorite version of a restructured DCU. Plus it feels like you’re trying to focus a little too heavily on next gen heroes which, while not a bad thing, I feel like isn’t something you should wanna do immediately. Establish and focus on your OGs first, your heavy hitters, and then put the spotlight on the sidekicks and young heroes after, like in phase 2 or so on (to use Marvel terms.) I have other nitpicks but I could be here for a while.
I feel like for a DC Cinematic Universe to be good, it needs to focus on a few things. The first is origins, I’m not talking for Batman or Superman, their origins are known well enough, but for the likes of Wonder Woman, The Flash and Green Lantern, we should get their origins, and the Justice League should have their origins in the first Justice League movie. The second is for the Justice League to develop alongside its members, with the team first learning to work together, then have them be broken apart by Batman’s contingency plans, have them reassemble begrudgingly after they’ve all experienced trauma to fight Darkseid and some members die, and have the Justice League in limbo for their last team up in the last movie of the saga, not being a Justice League movie at all. The third is an end goal, easily set by a Green Lantern saga focusing on the Blackest Night to be built up as the big finale event which can end with a good ending where the universe is made perfect by Kyle Rayner as the first White Lantern. The fourth is the build up of the Batfamily, which can be done right. The fifth is Teen Titans, it can also be done right if the characters are built as side characters in other projects (Maybe with Robin, Arsenal, Impulse, Aqualad, Wonder Girl and Miss Martian). There should be 4 phases in total, Phase 1 introduces the key members of the league and gets them to assemble, Phase 2 introducing the JSI and forcing the original league to shatter with Batman’s contingency plans, Phase 3 has them face Darkseid with Bruce and Barry dying and having them pass down the mantles to Dick and Wally, and Phase 4 introducing the Titans and the Suicide Squad before ending the entire story with the end of the Green Lantern Saga (GL6 would practically be a Justice League movie anyway, featuring the Green Lantern Corps, the Justice League, the Batfamily, the Titans and the Suicide Squad)
i would have bruce become batman when he is 22 so he will be 32 when we see him. also 9:04 is a great titans lineup for a movie and thats the one i would use.
If I was in charge, i would deliberately look for kids and teens to play the titans. Marvel and DC don’t understand how important teen heroes are and undervalue and underutilize them which is why they’re always either 18-twenty something when they first appear in live action. I watched a UA-cam video explaining the importance of teen heroes better than me but it must have been deleted or something because I can’t find it on my playlist. I wouldn’t have the movies move in realistic time like the MCU because it leaves less possibilities and opportunities for storytelling and forces characters who were loved as kids for so long and is such a strong part of their history rush into growing up. I’d make the first movie a Batman movie about Jason becoming Robin and use flashbacks like the animated movie to explain his backstory while we see Jason as a 13 year old robin. I would have movies take place in the past to take advantage of not using realistic time and keep it believable that not much time passes for some characters like I’d make a movie about Martian Manhunter coming to earth in the 18’s and some of the myths about ghosts and monsters originat from him as he protects earth from white Martians. I would not do the Teen Titans and do Young Justice instead and Tim would be its leader after founding it with Impulse and Superboy. I would carefully play with any mentioning of time passing or time skips to make the Titans stay teens as long as possible and if the actors have the youthful appearances of the teens. I would also take a note from the young justice show and have certain characters grow up and leave the team while also introducing other teen heroes to take their place. So this new universe would always have plenty of teen heroes while we see others eventually grow up. I’m not knowledgeable about actors so I don’t know who I’d pick
I have only 2 requests, please make the Justice League Team comprised of the OG Justice League team and I wanna see a live action version of Wonder Woman’s DCAMU suit since I think its kinda underrated, I prefer the silver look than the gold
I like all of your ideas, but personally, I think introducing all of the sidekicks/eventual replacements of the heroes in their FIRST film is just a little bit too much too quick, I'm thinking their introductions would make more sense in the sequel or a mini series and then set them up to become their equals and/or take their place by the time of the completion of their trilogies, kinda similar to how it was paced in some marvel movies.
as well as ALL the heroes pretty much starting in the same year, that's kinda inorganic. I think it would make more sense for them to all start within maybe a 5 year (give or take) period of each other, with them being inspired by their own personal motivations AS WELL those who came before them (Mainly superman/batman).

Lame lineup. Introducing titans at the start is not the way to build up a universe. It should be focus solely on the founding members and other members, nothing more nothing else.
I think they should do what the MCU did after Iron Man 3, continue his story through the Avengers movies, but instead make heavily feature Batman in the Justice League movies and have Matt Reeve’s universe go on separately until that trilogy is done
Not to hate on your ideas, which are good but I hope this is not what we get. I hate this "already established" things. I want to see Batman solo, then Dick, then Jason, then Tim, then Damian and all their particular evolutions with screen time. I'm so tired of getting into DC stuff with "Oh, Dick is already Nightwing". I want to SEE it happening. I like what Reeves Batman did with early days in the sense of "he's already Batman but the major things haven't happened yet". If I wanted to get a "everything already happened" kinda universe I'd just read a random comic. I want to see how this new universe starts and develops from scratch or at least from an early stage. I wanna see the League being built, the Titans getting older and changing rosters, character deaths and so on and so forth.
1) I think you can only skip the Origins if they're a well-known superhero and 2) starting with Superman is too convenient since his villains ARE Justice League villains

Here is my DC reboot in my head. Justice League. Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman/Green Lantern/Green Arrow/Black Lightning/Zatana/Aquaman/Black Canary/The Flash/Blue Beatle. Then I would counter it with The Justice Society. All of them are established. Comic inspiration is the George Perez run in the 1980's. First JL is stoping Darksied from terroforming Earth. The second JL is Identity Crisis, but tweaked storyline wise. Third is some Braniac situation.

Yea I agree with you. The main complaint is that people are just sick of watching origins that they have already seen. They are forgetting why the first avengers movie worked was because we had seen almost all of the characters and cared about them.

You don't need an origin story to use the hero's journey, the "ordinary world" can just be them doing regular superhero stuff. Besides I think the hero's journey is way too overrated anyway.
I think a Batman/Batfam TV show could be a good move. Matt Reeves can have the cinematic Batman for his run, and Gunn can make his universe feel lived in through the eyes of the Batfam.

The focus should be on the main characters and how they came together as a team. If you’re plan only covers ten years and you aren’t doing a Marvel and releasing multiple every year you have to jump right into the story.
It's not worth it to skip over Garth being Aqualad. In this new dc universe, Garth should be Aqualad, then be Tempest, and Kaldur should be Aqualad, just like in the comics.
I don't think the new batman will get a solo movie because there's already a batman movie franchise, I think he will just appear in other people movies like the hulk in the mcu and batman solo adventures will probably be in games and animation. However I do think that a nightwing movie is likely and I hope that the teen titans or titans is founded by Tim because it works better scince they usually have a robin as the founder
Haven't watched yet but I think the first or second new Superman film should be be based on Superman vs. The Elite. This could serve in someways as a meta commentary on the traditional versions of superheroes vs the edgy versions of superheroes that the Synderverse tried to make more popular.
Exactly. Superman vs Elite, with Kingdom Come visual references, hell I'd bring in the Actual Authority. Maybe Actual well done references from Jim Lee For Tomorrow and the Nu 52 Superman Unbound by Azarello and Scott Snyder which touched on military/political/ "real world consequences" adversary type stuff Zack Snyder tried to do, but actually tell a good intelligent story.

Agreed with most of this besides the fact that u think the first movies come out 2025.. its 2022 and the Superman script is already being written and it usually takes 16 months to film a movie.. the only movie they have scheduled for 2024 is joker 2 so they do need more films out that year and have all next year to start production on them

@bruhmanofyear2 I don’t think he is. This year we’re getting 4 DC movies (which has never happened) and Joker 2 comes out next year to hold fans over. I’m sure James Gunn will want a nice cushion in between the old universe’s final movie and his rebooted universe’s first movie to really distinguish between the two. So actually yea 2025 definitely seems most likely. Probably early in the year or maybe that summer. We’d be lucky to get it that soon tbh because usually rebooted properties take longer than a year to come out after the previous version of said property.
Perhaps with some origin stories they should do what several superhero cartoons have done in the past, immediately coming to mind would be Spectacular Spider Man and Danny Phantom. In both cases the hero begins already active, and then at some point we have an episode with Flashbacks detailing the origin (in SSM this occurred during the Venom arc, in DP it involved an evil genie necessitating them redoing Danny's origin). Particularly with the transmedia approach James Gunn is pushing, something like a comic book or cartoon could easily handle that part.
I think if we have this route then I would say that we could a tv show later on called 2021. This could have a season or two featuring each superhero’s origin. I just would want to see origins like Hal Jordan properly done in live action
I'm on the titans part of the video rn and I see one change I'd recommend making. Just like how the JL will already exist, Dick's Titans team already existed. Most adaptations now do this anyways. Both the Titans show and the teen titans movies in the DCAMU had the POV team be a second generation type thing. Maybe instead of the team ever separating, it just has a revolving door of members and older sidekicks like Dick grew up and left.
Considering how their relationship is currently growing more in the comics, I think Dick and Barbara are gonna be a couple in this universe (which is my preference). That said it'd be fun to show dick and starfire used to date and maybe their breaking up is why dick no longer leads the team. Or have that happen in the first titans movie after some awkward scenes in previous batfam movies showing dick and Barbara have a lot of chemistry and they only aren't dating rn because dick is with Cory. Idk there's a ton of possibilities if they just plan things out a bit

This sounds like I good idea mostly, I would say have Martian Manhunter be our window into the established Justice League and instead of doing a Batman film, make a animated-spider-verse style TV/movie but with the history of the Batfamily, not to do with multi-verse just make it a hard animated film.
For me, I'd like to set my own DC universe in the 1990s and 2000s. Batman debuted in 1989.
Superman debuted in 1992.
Wonder Woman would appear during WW2 with the Justice Society.
The Justice League would be formed in between 1995 or 1997 with the roster being the cast from the animated series. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash (Barry Allen), Green Lantern (John Stewart), Hawkgirl and Martian Manhunter.
Any additional heroes would follow like Aquaman, Shazam, Green Arrow, and the teen titans.
I really just want to see nightwing

You know what I think would be cool is if Hal Jordan was the SECOND Green Lantern of earth, and the first was Chip. So Green Lantern has to rise up the ranks to become the guardian of sector 2814. But no one takes him seriously until Hector Hammond surfaces, so the guardians send out Chip, alongside Hal as an assistant to Chip. But Hector pushes Chip in front of a yellow bus after discovering their weakness and kills him. Hector then teams up with a big threat (maybe Krona or Parallax) and the guardians still don’t trust or respect Hal but let him join the fight. Hal defeats Hector by the skin of his teeth and earns the title of the green lantern of sector 2814 and in the end or post credit scene. Convinces the guardians to allow one of his pilot friends (John, Kyle, Guy or anyone really) to become his partner and proves that earth needs more heroes and more green lanterns. And later, Alan Scott from earth 2 will become his mentor.
personally I wanted stephen amell to play as GA in the DCEU, james gunn could just say some people never change. I also think they should put ra's al ghul to be in the DCEU.

Introducing Batman in the DCU is hella easy (especially if it’s not connected to The Batman). Simply treat him as the Nick Fury of the universe, primarily reserved for small (but important) parts and team-up films. Meanwhile, Reeves can continue with his vision, so we still get solo movies-I don’t thing this new Batman needs them🤷🏻♂️ In the meantime, I’m with you, Nightwing/Oracle/Jason Todd can already be a thing. With the emergence of all these “metas”, Bruce spends much of his time anylizing them, leading to a Tower of Babel storyline in the first (or second) JL.
Also, a smaller hero, like Blue Beetle, would be the perfect start to a new universe; something Marvel didn’t do was start the world from the perspective of a street-level, “normal” human.
ALSO also: Brainiac is a sequel/finale level villain. I want to see Manchester Black and the Elite as the villains for the first Superman, better establishing this new Supes’ morals and standing with the world.

I kinda want a like 40-50 year old. King of the seas super powerful aquaman just to finally kill off the whole 'superfriends' aquaman. You could even have aquaman come in as sorta a villain like he sometimes does where he puts atlantis first and you could have him fight an inexperienced and over confidence superman in the sea would be cool
Just a couple issues I had with your pitch
-It would be rather boring for Wonder Woman to be from the past again as the DCEU just did that
-Having Dick already be Nightwing while making characters like Donna and Wally Tim's age takes away so much from both Tim and Dick. Each have there own set of friends that are important to their development. It's really not interchangeable. The New 52 did and basically just resulted in Dick losing almost all of his Titans friends. It make much more sense to just make Bruce be in about year 5-7 where Dick would be a teenaged Robin ready to form the Titans.
-I know it sucks for Aquaman fans but I feel like you could just skip him and not make him a part of the original 7. What makes Batman, Superman and Spider-Man characters who can easily be rebooted is how much of a unique take each reboot is. Your pitch doesn't feel unique enough to warrant another Aquaman reboot. It sounds like it could just be another movie in the DCEU.
My idea for a new DCEU Would be:
1. The Bat Family- Which the villain would be Ra's al Ghul.
2. Superman- I would choose either Metallo or parallax.
3. Green Lantern- which would definitely have Sinestro.
4. Flash- Which will not have an evil speedster in it. Since I would hope James gun, wood, avoid in using the evil counterparts trope.
5. The justice league- Which could be the arrival of brainiac or either other cosmic thread, that is not dark side.

Cool ideas, but I think you're introducing a lot of the legacy characters way too early. The Batfamily already established I agree with, but Kid Flash, Aqualad, Wonder Girl, etc. shouldn't be introduced in the first solo films of The Flash, Aquaman and Wonder Woman. Legacy characters should be used for the longevity of the franchise.
Thank you for making Brainiac as a villain for Superman. Plus we can have the leader of the Legion of Doom/injustice League recruiting the defeated villains like Nick Fury assembling their own team.

They should do what the comics did and not what Young Justice did.
I like all this but you can not do some of the stuff you are suggesting off screen, not everyone knows comic stuff and its important for them to feel connected to characters. The biggest thing you have that you absolutely can not do offscreen is killing jason todd. That is such a big event you just cant. The other stuff would be fine as animated tie ins I guess tho
You know, I think the best thing to do with Batman for this universe is to take the Spider-verse PS4 approach and make him an already experienced Batman that is like a decade into his career. So I agree with you on this.

Dude you’re video is solid. However, Superman has to be the one to start his generation of heroes. You can’t have Batman operating for years, and even having a Robin and Batgirl way before Superman shows up. Gunn seems to be going more closely to the comics, and it was Superman’s debut that inspires other heroes to come out. Even Batman usually starts within 6 months of Clark’s first public appearance. As much as I’d like to see all the Bat Family, and we still could, you have to have Superman debut before everyone first, and the have the rest.
I imagine they'll hold off "Flash" longer, rather than have "Flashpoint" and its reboot come out three years apart.
Anyway, this isn't 100% how I'd do it, but it sounds like a pretty good plan overall.
Considering the fact that James Gunn wants shows and video games to be connected. (Don’t think they will do the video games part) a lot of origins could be introduced
Here's what I'd do with the new Batman and JL trilogies in this reboot:
Batman Legacy (this movie would focus on Jason Todd's origin as Robin. This could also be a Court of the Owls film with Jason already being Robin, unless Matt Reeves wants to adapt that story in his trilogy): The movie would begin with a flashback showing how Bruce and Dick had a falling out, which would explain Nightwing (and Batgirl) showing up in the rest of the film, then it would focus on Bruce, Jason and the villains (Two-Face as the main villain, since him and Jason have a personal history). Unless they played the Arkham games or watched the first three seasons of Titans, I don't think the general audience would be familiar enough with Jason Todd to start the franchise with the Red Hood straight away (there's also no setup for it unlike with the memorial in BvS).
Batman: Death in the Family; This film would be a reinvention of the Batfleck movie, taking place mostly in Arkham Asylum with Joker and Deathstroke as the main villains (I think a lot of other villains should appear in this trilogy like how Penguin and Falcone were used in The Batman). Jason would obviously die in the final act (maybe Batgirl gets crippled and becomes Oracle too), and the after-credits scene would introduce Tim Drake.
Batman: Under the Red Hood; This would just be an adaptation of the comic and animated movie of the same name, with Tim Drake as the new Robin. The post-credits scene could introduce Damian Wayne.
Justice League: Doom; This film would act as a spiritual successor to the original JL film, with a League that has already formed fighting against the Legion of Doom.
Justice League: Tower of Babel; an adaptation of the comic storyline of the same name, featuring new recruits on the team.
Justice League: Darkseid War; This would be a loose adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths and Darkseid War, ending on a cliffhanger.
Justice League: Final Crisis; The final fight against Darkseid and the Anti-Monitor, with the Snyderverse JL cast, Grant Gustins' Flash and many other alternate versions of characters returning to their roles to help stop the two villains.
I hope we get an Adaptation of Justice League: Kingdom Come to end the DCEU and see what happens to the heroes before the Flash movie aka Flashpoint which resets everything

personally nothing would make me happier but to see a superman movie when he's lot older in his career and he's married to his wife Lois lane and they had their son Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy as his little 10 year old self but if they are going to do a younger Superman which they are fine then maybe they could do a legion of superheroes movie alongside superman which I think would be a good idea at least in my opinion.

Love this. I’d honestly only do one-two changes to what you said. Firstly, say that the JL is a bit older, and the Titans formed about a year after the JL and a year before Nightwing was created. Then, also have Babs still be batgirl to at least be able to have at least one batgirl movie
My pitch for the movie slate for new DCEU would be this
1)Superman For Better Tomorrow
Fancast: Superman (David Corenswet); Lois Lane (Natalia Dyer); Jimmy Olsen (Noah Schnapp); Parasite (Doug Jones); Lex Luthor (Billy Zane)
Plot: A traditonal super hero film. Shows Superman first days in Metropolis, the begining of his romance with Lois and he dealing with the pressure of being the city’s new hero. The villains would be Parasite and Lex Luthor.
2) The Batman 2
Fancast: Batman (Robet Pattison), Robin/Dick Grayson (Jaeden Martell), Mad Hatter (Aidan Gillen) Ventriloquist (Toby Jones)
Plot: A noir detective story in the same way the previous film. It would Introduce Dick Grayson, as orphan who lost his parents in the flood of the previous film and was inspired by Batman to become a street vigilante. The Villains would be Mad Hatter and The Ventriloquist & Scarface.
3) Flash Fastest Man Alive
Fancast : Flash (Lucas Till); Iris West (Lily James); Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp) Gorilla Grodd (Keith David)
Plot: A “Sam Raimi Spider man” style super hero film. Barry Allen would be come the Flash and team up with Jay Garrick, a speedster from Golden Age, to save Central City from Gorilla Grodd.
4) Superman & Batman World’s Finest
Fancast: Superman (David Corenswet); Batman (Robet Pattison); Robin/Dick Grayson (Jaeden Martell); Lex Luthor (Billy Zane); Black Mask (Jon Hamm); Metallo (Ben Barnes)
Plot: A buddy cop style movie. Superman would go to Gotham and teams up with Batman and Robin to stop a gang war between Penguin and Black Mask (who is reciving weapons from Lex Luthor). At first Superman and Batman wouldn’t get along, however it’s their bond with Dick Grayson that inspires them to work together..
5) Wonder Woman the Amazonian Princess
Fancast: Wonder Woman (Daisy Ridley); Julia Kapatelis (Sally Field) and. Circe (Tilda Swinton)
It would be a mix of Highlander with Percy Jackson, with Diana being establish as immortal warrior and member of JSA who has to return to action in modern times to help her friend, Julia, find her daughter, Vanessa, who was kidnapp by Circe.
6) Green Lantern In Brightest Day...
Fancast: Hal Jordan (Alden Ehrenreich); Carol Ferris (Charlotte Hope); Sinestro (Luke Evans); Killowog (Kevin Michael Richardson); Arisia (Chloë Grace Moretz); Ganthet (Michael Gambon); Sayd (Maggie Smith); Scar (Gleen Close); Krona (Hugo Weaving)
A space adventure film Hal Jordan is recruited into the Green Lantern Corps, having Sinestro as his mentor and partner, and gains the Lanterns trust and respect after helping them in battle agains the Manhuters, lead by Krona.
The post credit scene would introduce John Stewart, who replace Hal, while he is on space mission.
7) Justice League Secret Origin
Fancast: Superman (David Corenswet); Batman (Robet Pattison); Wonder Woman (Daisy Ridley); Flash (Lucas Till); John Stewart (Mustafa Shakir); Hawkgirl (Carrie Coon); J’onn J’onzz (Colin Salmon); Protex (Iwan Rheon).
Plot: A epic super hero film. The heroes would be reunite by J’onn J’onzz, who ask their help to return to Mars and stopping the Hyperclan, a group of white martians (lead by J’onn nephew, Protex), from stealing Earth energy to save their planet. In their adventure, they would meet with Hawkgirl, a space cop from Thanagar who came to their solar system after the white martians stole some thanagarian technology to execute their plan.
The final scene would have Starro cameo and the Justice League fighting him (reference to New Frontier), revealing themselves as team to the world for the first time, with no one knowing about their adventure in Mars.
That’s why the film title is Justice League SECRET origins.

5.- BATMAN 2: a mix beetween killing joke and a death in the family. Set in a night where the joker escapes arkham with harley quinn help and starts a series of murders with victims like gordon, fox and todd making batman to kill the joker and leave his life as a hero.
6.- AQUAMAN: an origin story too a good villain could be black mantha
7.- SUPERMAN: set 6 years after the first movie. Zod is coming to earth. Basically man of steel, with deaths like perry white, jimmy olsen, sam lane and jor el ia in thw final battle. At the end the world hate kriptionans and clark leaves the hero life and returns to smallville.
8.- FLASH 2 a movie where we can explore the speed force with zoom as the villain
9.- WONDER WOMAN 2: set 10 years after the first movie. Diana has lived with steve trevor and has to deal with his mortal life. At the end steve found argus.
10.- AQUAMAN 2: basically the 2018 movie against ocean master
11.- SUPERMAN 3: set 3 years after the second movie, clark is a farmer in smallville and has to deal with the arrival of his 10 years old cousin kara and dog krypto. The villain could be bizarro who is also looking for a family. At the end kara and krypto will be left with the danvers, two argus agents who are following bizarro believing he is superman and clark kent identity will die and superman will be the only thing left.
12.- WONDER WOMAN 3: set 12 years after the second movie. Steve trevor now the leader of argus will form a team called the justice society and call diana to take part of this. At the end most of the team would die saving the world with diana traumatised returning to the amazonas home.
13.- BATMAN 3: set 10 years after the second movie, basically the dark knight returns with superman in it
14.- JUSTICE LEAGUE PART 1: brainiac would be the villain the movie. Superman, batman, wonder woman, flash, aquaman and martian manhunter would be the team roast. And old steve trevor death facing brainiac would be inspiring to finally unite the team, leaving his second in command amanda waller in charge of argus and the revelation that it was brainiac who destroys krypton by setting doomsday free. At the end lex luthor becomes the new president of usa and before being destroyed , brainiac set free doomsday on earth.
15.- GREEN LANTERN: origin story with hal promising to return to carol when the earth would need him
16.- JUSTICE LEAGUE PART 2: doomsday will be the main villain and hal would retun to earth to join the justice league in the fight. At the end superman dies while killing doomsday and earth accept him as his savior. The rest of the team promise to unite again in case of need and make a warning to the new president lex luthor

This is a new version of these characters tho, if you want the general audience to buy into this universe you need to distinct them from the previous one. Starting this universe with the JL already being a thing will just make the general audience think it’s a continuation with different actors

I imagine each saga having 2 phases, each phase lasting 3-5 years and having 5-7 movies.
Phase 1: introductions, heroes are in a bad place due the jsa's assasination but superman comes in as their last hope
Phase 2: superman teams up with other superheroes and the remaining jsa to defeat the legion of doom. The Jla is born.
Phase 3: new metahumans are discovered everyday, among them is bart allen who omens a dark future. Cosmic side of the universe is explored.
Phase 4: With time travel introduced, movies now take place in various times (batman beyond, booster gold, more speedsters). These leads to Jla the final frontier where the Jla defeat a time traveling menace (possibly Darkseid). Only to get a glimpse at the multiverse.
Phase 5: Multiverse is explored. New generation of superheroes, farewell to classic characters. Jli is formed.
Phase 6: dark multiverse is discovered. They defeat evil jla variants as a methapor of new heroes being the lead. New 52 is created.
What if the blue beetle trilogy was with each blue beetle that’s ever been instead of starting with Jaime start with Dan so mabye you can put him in a justice society movie then make a Ted cord movie and kinda of put him in other movies before killing him off like a booster gold and blue beetle buddie film or a justice league movie so in Jaime movie you can have an established booster gold kind of train Jaime to be the newest blue beetle kinda like the injustice comic books
Not bad, but it’s not my favorite version of a restructured DCU. Plus it feels like you’re trying to focus a little too heavily on next gen heroes which, while not a bad thing, I feel like isn’t something you should wanna do immediately. Establish and focus on your OGs first, your heavy hitters, and then put the spotlight on the sidekicks and young heroes after, like in phase 2 or so on (to use Marvel terms.) I have other nitpicks but I could be here for a while.

I feel like for a DC Cinematic Universe to be good, it needs to focus on a few things. The first is origins, I’m not talking for Batman or Superman, their origins are known well enough, but for the likes of Wonder Woman, The Flash and Green Lantern, we should get their origins, and the Justice League should have their origins in the first Justice League movie. The second is for the Justice League to develop alongside its members, with the team first learning to work together, then have them be broken apart by Batman’s contingency plans, have them reassemble begrudgingly after they’ve all experienced trauma to fight Darkseid and some members die, and have the Justice League in limbo for their last team up in the last movie of the saga, not being a Justice League movie at all. The third is an end goal, easily set by a Green Lantern saga focusing on the Blackest Night to be built up as the big finale event which can end with a good ending where the universe is made perfect by Kyle Rayner as the first White Lantern. The fourth is the build up of the Batfamily, which can be done right. The fifth is Teen Titans, it can also be done right if the characters are built as side characters in other projects (Maybe with Robin, Arsenal, Impulse, Aqualad, Wonder Girl and Miss Martian). There should be 4 phases in total, Phase 1 introduces the key members of the league and gets them to assemble, Phase 2 introducing the JSI and forcing the original league to shatter with Batman’s contingency plans, Phase 3 has them face Darkseid with Bruce and Barry dying and having them pass down the mantles to Dick and Wally, and Phase 4 introducing the Titans and the Suicide Squad before ending the entire story with the end of the Green Lantern Saga (GL6 would practically be a Justice League movie anyway, featuring the Green Lantern Corps, the Justice League, the Batfamily, the Titans and the Suicide Squad)

If I was in charge, i would deliberately look for kids and teens to play the titans. Marvel and DC don’t understand how important teen heroes are and undervalue and underutilize them which is why they’re always either 18-twenty something when they first appear in live action. I watched a UA-cam video explaining the importance of teen heroes better than me but it must have been deleted or something because I can’t find it on my playlist. I wouldn’t have the movies move in realistic time like the MCU because it leaves less possibilities and opportunities for storytelling and forces characters who were loved as kids for so long and is such a strong part of their history rush into growing up. I’d make the first movie a Batman movie about Jason becoming Robin and use flashbacks like the animated movie to explain his backstory while we see Jason as a 13 year old robin. I would have movies take place in the past to take advantage of not using realistic time and keep it believable that not much time passes for some characters like I’d make a movie about Martian Manhunter coming to earth in the 18’s and some of the myths about ghosts and monsters originat from him as he protects earth from white Martians. I would not do the Teen Titans and do Young Justice instead and Tim would be its leader after founding it with Impulse and Superboy. I would carefully play with any mentioning of time passing or time skips to make the Titans stay teens as long as possible and if the actors have the youthful appearances of the teens. I would also take a note from the young justice show and have certain characters grow up and leave the team while also introducing other teen heroes to take their place. So this new universe would always have plenty of teen heroes while we see others eventually grow up. I’m not knowledgeable about actors so I don’t know who I’d pick
I have only 2 requests, please make the Justice League Team comprised of the OG Justice League team and I wanna see a live action version of Wonder Woman’s DCAMU suit since I think its kinda underrated, I prefer the silver look than the gold
I like all of your ideas, but personally, I think introducing all of the sidekicks/eventual replacements of the heroes in their FIRST film is just a little bit too much too quick, I'm thinking their introductions would make more sense in the sequel or a mini series and then set them up to become their equals and/or take their place by the time of the completion of their trilogies, kinda similar to how it was paced in some marvel movies.
as well as ALL the heroes pretty much starting in the same year, that's kinda inorganic. I think it would make more sense for them to all start within maybe a 5 year (give or take) period of each other, with them being inspired by their own personal motivations AS WELL those who came before them (Mainly superman/batman).

Lame lineup. Introducing titans at the start is not the way to build up a universe. It should be focus solely on the founding members and other members, nothing more nothing else.
I think they should do what the MCU did after Iron Man 3, continue his story through the Avengers movies, but instead make heavily feature Batman in the Justice League movies and have Matt Reeve’s universe go on separately until that trilogy is done
Not to hate on your ideas, which are good but I hope this is not what we get. I hate this "already established" things. I want to see Batman solo, then Dick, then Jason, then Tim, then Damian and all their particular evolutions with screen time. I'm so tired of getting into DC stuff with "Oh, Dick is already Nightwing". I want to SEE it happening. I like what Reeves Batman did with early days in the sense of "he's already Batman but the major things haven't happened yet". If I wanted to get a "everything already happened" kinda universe I'd just read a random comic. I want to see how this new universe starts and develops from scratch or at least from an early stage. I wanna see the League being built, the Titans getting older and changing rosters, character deaths and so on and so forth.

Here is my DC reboot in my head. Justice League. Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman/Green Lantern/Green Arrow/Black Lightning/Zatana/Aquaman/Black Canary/The Flash/Blue Beatle. Then I would counter it with The Justice Society. All of them are established. Comic inspiration is the George Perez run in the 1980's. First JL is stoping Darksied from terroforming Earth. The second JL is Identity Crisis, but tweaked storyline wise. Third is some Braniac situation.
