Great point about Martian Manhunter. I think the simplistic JLAS look is much better than more overdesigned recent looks. If you really wanted those bumps and lines to appear, they could show up while he’s in combat and not prioritizing maintaining his human-like form as much. That could maybe be neat.
I think Nightwing should have longer hair to distinguish himself from the show more. And Batman: The Brave And The Bold may be the first DC movie I see in cinema, depending on how good it looks.
Gonna be honest, with the Redhood design I kinda want them to adapt his costume from the “Arkham Knight” DLC but with the original colors. I know it runs the risk of looking too similar to his look in “Titans” but put that costume on a more brawny actor like in the game and it’ll just look so cool.
Batman: - Blue and Black Suit. - White Eyes similar to MCU's Black Panther. - New 52 Belt. - Bat Symbol from Rebirth but add some yellow lines. - Trunks similar to 2009's Nite Owl movie suit cause it'll be a copy to the comics but trying it to be realistic. Wonder Woman: - Corset from DCAU/DCAMU. - Amazonian Belt but with an added star - Star Spangled Leotard/Briefs/Shorts similar MCU's Namor but with Gold Accents on the Shorts. - Armored Boots but without Knee Pads just like the Snyderverse WW. Green Lantern: - Mask but with CGI eyes like Deadpool. - Symbol inspired by the DCAU. - New 52 suit akin to Blue Beetle's 2023 suit & add some CGI layers like MCU's Spider-Man to make it cosmic looking.
I think for batman, the trunks should look more like shorts, that would fit him better, but it would feel weird without some blue to separate that grey.
Exactly. He's fuckin Batman, he doesn't need bulletproof armor, he's a freaking ninja. If that fails get him in a material closer to the Arkham City suit.
Since Superman is taking inspiration from kingdom come, i think Wonder Woman should too, like a long loin cloth on top of a longer shorts but they can add brown straps and make it more greek
I think having Batman progress from an all black suit to a very colorful one by the end of the saga would be awsome becasue it would show Superman's impact on the character
Bad take on critique from DCEU suits. Say what u want for the movies but the custome designs for the heroes in the DCEU under Snyder's era was done PERFECTLY
Batman should have the blue and grey suit along with white eyes, they can be mechanical and should glow in the dark and can even help him solve crimes like in the Arkhamverse, I also want them to bring back the classic yellow symbol.
Maybe this is a hot take but if and probably will happen Wally does become The Flash eventually I'd love to see him stick to the reboot suit as i think it makes him stand out so much more and allows him to show off his red hair and it looks really cool. I also love Barrys N52 suit and hope we see that version but nothing beats the classic and i also sort of hope we still get the bearded Aquaman look as i think it looks so much cooler
I don't mind Batman being blue, but I think it should be very dark. Maybe it looks more blue in certain lighting, or has a blue hue. I just don't see a mysterious creature of the night being covered in bright blue on screen lol Great video though!
Suggestion: MAMU (Marvel version of DCAMU) Like: Son of Batman, Superman: Doomsday, Justice League Dark Apocalyptic War, Flashpoint You get what I'm saying
@AidenandJason2400 You think Clone of Spider-Man, Spider-Man vs Scarlet Spider and Spiderman (whatever we're calling it) would be the perfect equivalent to Son of Batman, Batman vs Robin and Batman Bad Blood?
I think if they still want to make Batman look like a guy wearing something you would actually expect to protect someone, the best way to do it would be with material variety. For instance, make the different colors of the suit be different materials. The gray segments would be a much sturdier looking material to protect him from attacks, and they’d be overlaid on a blue, more flexible looking material that would be visible in the gaps at the waist (to simulate the trunks) and the neck And, obviously, he NEEDS the oval symbol. The Blue suit just doesn’t look quite right without it
I kinda hope they take notes from THE Suicide Squad & Peacemaker, taking comic suits and pretty much recreating them 1:1, but slightly ground theme like PolkaDot-man's costume.
wonder woman does not need the pants she could just have more of a DCAMU suit but with the regular color. or use her classic underwear one but just armor it up
honestly, i agree with everything but the red hood suit, i personally just love the helmet with the leather jacket and i think james gunn could adapt it very well and better than the titans show
I wish Pattinsons batman was connected to the new universe, not immediately just let that trilogy finish and then bring him in and "spice" his suit up and maybe make him dark dark blue
I hope they don’t force this. Not only would it be better to let them finish their stand alone vision, neither Pattinson or Reeves want to do it, so their heart wouldn’t even be in it. Get someone who’s excited to be in a comic book role for a decade plus instead.
Honestly my favorite look for Batman is Alex Ross Batman design, and if any movie ever adapted this, it would easily be my favorite live action Batman costume.
I hope Hawkgirl & Hawkman hv organic wings instead of metal ones tbh. The metal wings looked awesome in Black Adam - I just think organic wings are cooler lol.
I was really wanting to know about Ravager since shes had so many different costumes in the comics. My favorite being the red and black one she wore in red hood and the outlaws.
(IN MY OPINION) The Red Hood helmet was wasted on Titans, so I feel like he should start with the helmet and then later get the mask. Tim should just be called Red Robin when he transitions out of the Robin role, in his cowl suit it would make more sense than what rebirth did js giving him a classic Robin suit but with two Rs on the logo. Also, Stephanie Brown's Spoiler costume in the New 52 sucks, they really should use her first appearance. Ur vids always hit, keep up the good work
i personally think the rebirth logo for batman combos perfectly with superman's logo in the dcu, would not be disappointed at all if they went with that
Give me a blue Batsuit (70’s or Hush) with the white eyes already DC! Marvel made the white eyes and yellow and blue work with Wolverine, you can make the white eyes and blue work with Batman
Just for those who did see the mister terrific, hawkgirl and guy Gardner suits that were seen on set photos, they’re supposed to have that look since it seems they’re hired by Maxwell Lord (since they have his logo on their suits) and most likely won’t be their final suits once they probably stop working for Maxwell lord once Superman shows you can be heroes not for profit.
The only thing I inherently disagree with is saying the trunks don't work on Batman like they do on Superman because that just straight up isn't true, he needs the color balance just as much as Superman does. Frankly the only suit I can think of off the top of my head that had trunks for the longest time as does not need them is aquaman with the old black trunks but they got rid of those after crisis. Edit after watching more of the video: Bro wtf was that hawkman edit, you cannot have sat there and went "yeah this will be a completely alright thing to do"
I could see the trunks working for batman if its qn extreme close look of Arkham asylum and city but maybe blue to differentiate from recent live action adaptations
Since you did mention Batwoman at all. While James Gunn can portray her perfectly compared to what CW gave us, James can have his DCU Batwoman wear a comic booky looking outfit and even be way more epic than the CW suit. Plus unlike her CW adaptation, James Gunn's DCU Kate Kane can be the successor to her step mom Kathy Kane the first Batwoman. Plus, Kate can wear red to represent as her respect and love for Kathy while she can wear black as a way of connecting to her cousin Bruce Wayne.
I hope we’ll see Plastic Man. He maybe a complete doofus, but he’s considered to be one of the most powerful characters in DC. He could even be the voice of reason for the Justice League. Just like how it was done in injustice 2.
Seems like every live action design takes the basic tenets of the Joker and creates a new look based on that. I'd either continue that trend or simply do something like to Arkham Joker.
@@TheBlackLion001 Yeah I’d personally like to see a more faithful recreation of the general comic book Joker look, either Killing Joke or Death in The Family era, or Arkham-like as you mentioned. I’m sick of “modernized” or “gritty & realistic” Joker. Give me THE Clown Prince of Crime please!
I want Wally to be the main flash of this DCU but have him wear that rebirth flash suit, the one that’s basically a red and silver kid flash suit with his hair flowing and blue lightning, I think this will give him a distinct difference in Live Action than Barry Allen’s previous flashes, letting people know this is a legacy character

I don’t understand why people say Batman wearing trunks doesn’t work, just look at the Arkham asylum suit plus it just helps the design flow better
It looks awesome in comics and animation. They look like diapers in Live Action.
Batman:
- Blue and Black Suit.
- White Eyes similar to MCU's Black Panther.
- New 52 Belt.
- Bat Symbol from Rebirth but add some yellow lines.
- Trunks similar to 2009's Nite Owl movie suit cause it'll be a copy to the comics but trying it to be realistic.
Wonder Woman:
- Corset from DCAU/DCAMU.
- Amazonian Belt but with an added star
- Star Spangled Leotard/Briefs/Shorts similar MCU's Namor but with Gold Accents on the Shorts.
- Armored Boots but without Knee Pads just like the Snyderverse WW.
Green Lantern:
- Mask but with CGI eyes like Deadpool.
- Symbol inspired by the DCAU.
- New 52 suit akin to Blue Beetle's 2023 suit & add some CGI layers like MCU's Spider-Man to make it cosmic looking.
Remove the trunks from the bat suit and it's perfect
I think for batman, the trunks should look more like shorts, that would fit him better, but it would feel weird without some blue to separate that grey.
Love the dc work , but that red hood helmet I can’t unsee it with brown biker jacket is so hard
thanks for always providing such valuable insights!
Flash’s new 52 look is his best look imo I agreed on everything except the speedsters
JUST PUT BATMAN IN A GREY AND BLUE FABRIC SUIT THATS ALL I WANT
Not going to happen
Exactly. He's fuckin Batman, he doesn't need bulletproof armor, he's a freaking ninja. If that fails get him in a material closer to the Arkham City suit.
Yup... Surely that will give him protection from the likes of the metas, assassin's, and serial killers he deals with.
@@darryljack6612snyder’s batman design made it work perfectly
@@giosbizarreart9048True, but that's because it wasnt just fabric, it was thick material that was showed to be bullet proof.
Its funny you say how great the Man-thing looks with cgi considering its mostly practical.
Great video mate but you used a lot of fan art images with no credit. Maybe put the links in your description to those artists
Added to description 👍
Bad take on critique from DCEU suits. Say what u want for the movies but the custome designs for the heroes in the DCEU under Snyder's era was done PERFECTLY
I didn’t hear joker or Harley Quinn in this one time and I appreciate that 😂
If you cant make the silly trunks of a comic book character work, you dont care about them enough and nothing else will work.
LITERALLY and batman can work with trunks, the suit in batman arkham asylum is a good example
Batman should have the blue and grey suit along with white eyes, they can be mechanical and should glow in the dark and can even help him solve crimes like in the Arkhamverse, I also want them to bring back the classic yellow symbol.
Ok, fine.
Now do the Legion of Superheroes costumes.
All of them
Maybe this is a hot take but if and probably will happen Wally does become The Flash eventually I'd love to see him stick to the reboot suit as i think it makes him stand out so much more and allows him to show off his red hair and it looks really cool.
I just don't see a mysterious creature of the night being covered in bright blue on screen lol
Great video though!
Suggestion:
MAMU (Marvel version of DCAMU)
Like: Son of Batman, Superman: Doomsday, Justice League Dark Apocalyptic War, Flashpoint
You get what I'm saying
I also posted a comment for this idea
@AidenandJason2400 You think Clone of Spider-Man, Spider-Man vs Scarlet Spider and Spiderman (whatever we're calling it) would be the perfect equivalent to Son of Batman, Batman vs Robin and Batman Bad Blood?
@@yajuu_wrld I would actually have Spider-Man as the Cyborg equivalent. I would have Iron Man be the Batman equivalent
I think if they still want to make Batman look like a guy wearing something you would actually expect to protect someone, the best way to do it would be with material variety.
For instance, make the different colors of the suit be different materials. The gray segments would be a much sturdier looking material to protect him from attacks, and they’d be overlaid on a blue, more flexible looking material that would be visible in the gaps at the waist (to simulate the trunks) and the neck
And, obviously, he NEEDS the oval symbol. The Blue suit just doesn’t look quite right without it
Also, I think Tim’s new hero name should be “Cardinal.” It’s on-brand with the theme of red birds, while also being fairly distinct from Robin
I like the new Superman costume I think it looks like the classic suite but updated to fit 2024/25
I kinda hope they take notes from THE Suicide Squad & Peacemaker, taking comic suits and pretty much recreating them 1:1, but slightly ground theme like PolkaDot-man's costume.
wonder woman does not need the pants she could just have more of a DCAMU suit but with the regular color. or use her classic underwear one but just armor it up
I really think Batman with trunks could possibly work if the tone is right!
honestly, i agree with everything but the red hood suit, i personally just love the helmet with the leather jacket and i think james gunn could adapt it very well and better than the titans show
I wish Pattinsons batman was connected to the new universe, not immediately just let that trilogy finish and then bring him in and "spice" his suit up and maybe make him dark dark blue
I hope they don’t force this. Not only would it be better to let them finish their stand alone vision, neither Pattinson or Reeves want to do it, so their heart wouldn’t even be in it. Get someone who’s excited to be in a comic book role for a decade plus instead.
@@IAteFire i agree people hate the batman because of it being else world this is what i think
PLEASE GOD, i hope Booster Gold will be on the big screen, hes the GREATEST Hero the World has never seen!!!!
Green Arrow: “yeah I kept on losing my hat while on the job so I just switched to a hood”
Honestly my favorite look for Batman is Alex Ross Batman design, and if any movie ever adapted this, it would easily be my favorite live action Batman costume.
For Flash I still think the Injustice 2 design is just peak.
I'd adapt her rebirth design
@@TheBlackLion001 cool
17:02 another outfit choice for Starfire could have been outfit from Teen Titans.
I and the majority of DC agree that Wonder Woman with pants is a bad idea stick to the skirt or panties option
why?? no hate only curiosity
just saw ur other comments on this channel ur weird LMAOOO
I feel like if Batman has white eyes, give Midnighter a mask with exposed eyes. If Batman has exposed eyes, give Midnighter white eyes.
Snyder not understanding the characters and why people love them is probably one of the bigger issues
Edit after watching more of the video: Bro wtf was that hawkman edit, you cannot have sat there and went "yeah this will be a completely alright thing to do"
The costumes that got revealed for hulk girl, and Green Lantern are not their actual costumes. They all have the lore tech symbol on the front
It makes no sense to do the trunks for Superman but not do it for Batman, they should match.
Superman's current suit really gives me vibes of "mama Kent made this ". Don't know if that just me , personally I dig it.
One more small thing. Can we please give Nightwing his wingsuit back? I've not seen that since the DCAU. Would be nice.
The green lanterns should have something what mcu Spider-Man has with.. a realistic suit but a layer of cg to make it cosmic feeling
I hope we’ll see Plastic Man. He maybe a complete doofus, but he’s considered to be one of the most powerful characters in DC. He could even be the voice of reason for the Justice League. Just like how it was done in injustice 2.
But then there won't be any real threats.
@@avengerboy2171 You gotta good point there.
That's probably the best Batsuit I've ever seen.
We've gotten a lot of Joker looks over the years, I was hoping to hear what Joker look you would want for the DCU
Why do the trunks work for superman but not for batman?
I want Wally to be the main flash of this DCU but have him wear that rebirth flash suit, the one that’s basically a red and silver kid flash suit with his hair flowing and blue lightning, I think this will give him a distinct difference in Live Action than Barry Allen’s previous flashes, letting people know this is a legacy character
Thoughts on Connor Hawke Green Arrow? I personally think he would be a really cool character if the DCU does decide to do more of the Arrow family.
I’d say for beastboy his red and white suit should come first depending whenever he joined the titans,it’ll show that he had just left doom patrol. And then. They work the purple and black in
