One of the many aspects I love about your channel Gary is that you show you don´t need thousands of pounds worth of expensive kit or dedicated sealed off work spaces to achieve truly excellent results.
I can´t help but to cast my mind back to my childhood helping my late uncle in a drafty old wooden double garage restore his old vintage cars late into the night with those old caged hand garage lamps attached to the bonnet to shed light on some usually electrical problem (well, they all had Lucas Electrical systems!) or setting tappets with feeler gauges and such and my reward always was an illegal driving lesson early on a sunday morning in Dawlish Warren car park!
Before legal driving age I had driven quite the assortment, Saabs, Lagonda, Spitfire Renault 4 and 5, MGB GT; Shadow first series in Garnet with dove grey leather and series II in peacock blue with magnolia piped in French Blue. All your videos cast my mind back to the 70´s and early 80´s and those times.
Your channel is a joy to watch, thank you for taking the time to make the videos.

Hey Gary ! Great to meet you yesterday , both George and I enjoyed talking to you and it was wonderful to see both the Rolls and the Lotus in the flesh; The Rolls does really look superb - such a gorgeous looking motor and a real credit to you. Even without the freshly painted bonnet fitted the car looks fantastic! Seeing the car was like seeing an old friend and was a great feeling walking round it and being able to see how good the new chrome looked and how impressive the finish on the hood and lining were. My gran would be proud of your sewing skills 🙂 The Lotus was looking good yesterday and have t say the interior was a lot better than it looked om the video and didn't appear to have suffered much ware considering the mileage either !. Looking forward to seeing the Lotus and the Porsche progressing in the coming months and look forward as usual to the next episode ! what is the XJS upto ? Again great to see you yesterday - Cheers Stew

I'm impressed as up until now I have only seen this reference and the chap recommends removal of the dash:
