I love to watch you find the gold, your explanations are very informative and though I'll never be able to search for gold myself I can see others going out and having a go. Take care my friends, good luck and happy fossicking Mary-Ellen UK
I would scrape that patch you detected and dish it for the fines that the coil can't pick up,,i hope you did ! ,good vid , i understand why you don't tell us where you go though .My old grandad was a very keen gold and gem fossicker ,taught (corrupted ) me as a young fella . Now I finally have time to get back to it but very few places the common man can wash a dish now .One of these Garrett machines is definitely on the wish list . I often wonder why people don't pan a bit of the sieved spoil from sapphire workings ,they might get a surprise !
No dealer in Kingaroy but there is the Open Range in Toowoomba and Gympie Gold Army Disposals in Gympie. A fill list of dealers is on the Garrett Australia website. Cheers. Warren.
1 gram of 22k gold= roughly $40 in American currency. You work 8 hrs frying potatoes: 8 x $ 7.35/hr=$58.80. And it costs a lot of money just to be there at the site..
A vain attempt. Sorry, but prospecting is not for 99.999% of the population. You make more at a fish and chips shop in a day running the fryer. And you don't need a $20.00 pair of sleeves to protect against snakebites. Dealing with customers may be a bit more challenging, though.
