Nice explanation👍Btw there are 2 more methods to detect colourless analytes: 1. By placing the chromaplate in glass chamber containing few crystals of Iodine (they adsorb iodine vapours and look as brown spots) 2. Spraying Ninhydrin reagents on chromaplate (for detection of amino acids)
