When the moment is made timeless for you, infinite, for you, there can sometimes be tears. When you realise The Timeless is always there, to include you.
Being a Jungian man who enjoyed this. I know it's about shadow work but I would like to emphasize that the subconscious is not negative but the foundation of our consciousness. To highlight the negative allows us to better understand ourselves and once we identify the negative we are able to make a meaningful change. Thank you for the discussion.
seemed like an accurate assessment of the basic shadow work principles that i have learned; and i have been in active weekly shadow work groups on and off for twenty years; there's always room for emotional attachments to various types of shadow work;
At her age, Keila could be my granddaughter, but as a self-help junkie, I am willing to learn from someone so much younger, so I just ordered her Shadow Work Journal, even though I frankly never heard of shadow work until this poscast. During these holidays, I have been trying to figure out why I am so self-judgmental. I suspect that some of the shadows are really in my face, so to speak, but I have been feeling that pure joy is just out of my reach, and in between joy and myself is an impenetrable wall of self-judgment. I'm actually happy most of the time, and funny much of the time, and maybe a few other positive adjectives could describe me, but still...
don't be late to appointments. there's a shortage of health care professionals. it's up to us to communicate to them that we value their time when there's other people waiting for an appointment. at this point, care is a privilege not to be abused or taken for granted. people are waiting years to be seen. glad to hear she out sold Oprah, and of course musk. this says a lot. listen.
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
Surely there are those more qualified to explain shadow work than a 25 year old who majored in marketing. Maybe a therapist? Counselor? Professor? She speaks as if she's an expert when she is, in fact, not. It would benefit her to open such discussions with a disclaimer which addresses her lack of qualifications. That said, I love this topic, this show, Rainn, and appreciate all this young woman has done for mental health advocacy and promoting help-seeking behaviors.
I completely agree. She seems very intelligent and speaks in a very compelling way. To me there where a few strange answers, like at the end, it would have been interesting to hear her point on collective shadow but instead she said Im looking forward to writing about it in my next book...
Of course her ideas are not new. They are just repackaged (I assume) in a way that tik-tok'ers can relate to. I mean, if awakening, or spiritual advice from a "qualified" guru is what you seek...then what are you doing on UA-cam waching an actors podcast?? Shouldn't you be watching the podcast of a "theapist? Counselor? Professor?". You gotts realize where you're at.
Is interesting she is saying that young generation want things more deep than yoga … when yoga comes from the Veda’s and Carl Jung and others master of the mind in the western world brought those “ideas” from the knowledge of the Vedas. Yoga is not what the west do with it, yoga is as well shadow work because without doing it you can not connect with the Divine . Shadow work is the beginning of yoga coz is related with the body and mind conditioning. But after that comes the study of the us , consciousness. And yoga is the relationship between the little consciousness (us) with the higher consciousness (god) . Yoga is beyond and the oldest knowledge in the world .
She said There's more to life then yoga and meditation ya like who invented it and what are there beliefs, its so interesting to see other faiths/religions or whatever your theology is and use meditation and yoga and promote it but never give credit to the Hindus. And the reason all of you are doing yoga and meditation is because it works and it's scientifically proven to work , praying hasn't done the same and alot of things from the bible are truly twisted , What im saying is after all these yrs through science and figuring all this out we have to look back and SEE who was right all along , and it deff wasn't the bible actually I heard a preacher say ,once slavery was made illegal that was the start of the end for belief in the bible
yes, going deeper into the roots of yoga (looking at samskara's) and belief systems is required as a human if looking to grow. Jung, James, and the others acknowledge gaining understanding and basing their philosophies on ancient texts. She's a voice of her generation. she is of Great service contextualizing deep concepts that helps an emerging young humanity. prayer has been studied at NIH and has shown to be statistically significant in praying for others without their knowledge.
Praying IS meditation and it has been scientifically proven provide the same benefits as "meditation". BTW, there are, at least, dozens of different schools of meditation. And what does any of it have to with the bible? Don't be the one who fails to see the forest for the trees.
She’s so comforting. Really enjoyed this one!
Amazing podcast, amazing young woman, gives such hope for the next generation!
Seeing a therapist is like going to a doctor for a sprained wrist and not finding out they are only a proctologist until after the exam.
Much more of a person is timeless, than a human person could ever think.
When we are connected to The Eternal, in the presence of The Eternal, moved to recognise The Eternal, each moment is made Timeless.
When the moment is made timeless for you, infinite, for you, there can sometimes be tears. When you realise The Timeless is always there, to include you.

EXCELLENT JUNGIAN PSYCHOLOGY IS TRANSFORMATIVE! love her talk thank you
Everything perishable wants to know the timeless and everything timeless wants to know the perishable.
All that is perishable came from the timeless. What came from the timeless is returned to being timeless.
That high five was so awkward. Scratch that. This has been a message from my shadow self.

every perspective is potentially helpful;
why does a conversation need to have a college educated professional to be on youtube?:
@@infinidimensionalinfinitie5021 She may not be an expert. Luckily everyone in the comments is. 😆

"An Idiot's Guide" does not invite the ego!
beliefs about belief system(s);
which definition of ego is the ultimate definition?;:

If I may, I'd like to suggest Day Shift, a Soul Boom Dispatch with Jeff Kober. It's an incredible resource for insightful meditations and ideas.
