Yeah man ive been addicted to bands for many exercises, too. In fact, i just bought powerblocks and actually regret it because i still reach for bands most of the time. If i could go back, and start again, id just get a pull up bar and the harambe system and call it a day.
Those fabric bands look pretty cool for outdoors
Looks like Max has been really busy creating some really cool products. I can appreciate the various use cases for these and the review really helps to understand some of these considerations. Having tried Vector Athletics products, it's clear they are producing high quality and innovative products. Thanks Mike!
Great stuff as usual Mike! The fabric and loops in particular seem very interesting.
Thanks for video, I was looking for new bands and this helped.
Awesome and informative vid as always, keep it up!
Awesome video as always Mike. The 8sling straps are a really cool idea 😁
Very informative clip. The fabric bands are a unique option. Will keep them in mind if I get bands for outdoor summer workouts.
The bands reviewed are excellent for rehabilitation as you have noted. The Fabric bands can stretch to 3 times the width. This feature is excellent for a tall person above 6 feet that wants to rehab their back and focus on some squats for stretching. The bands I own (Serious Steel, Rogue and Undersun) do put stress on my neck when I wrap the band there to do squats. The Fabric bands do have merit as an add on for specific training & rehab movements. Thanks for the informative review.
So glad to see vector athletics innovating here. I like the idea of the figure 8 type loops especially for leg and foot attachment
Always appreciate your content Mike, the figure 8 straps look versatile and interesting 👍
Thanks Joseph.
These silicone bands sound amazing. I have an elderly parent who wants to try using bands but is allergic to latex. I definitely gotta look into getting these.
Great stuff! The new band materials are interesting. Provides different resistance curves.
So glad I stumbled across this video. Thanks.
Thanks, Mike! This review reminded me of VA's Band Belt which I had filed away for future reference. So much so I went back and watched that review again. It's just super content we receive here!
Thanks Martin as always. Always let me know what you want to see and I'll try to deliver.
Thank you for the honest review Mike! Just a quick comment about the bands, I have not seen any other brands sell silicone 41" loops but there are definitely other brands that sell 41" fabric loops, I just wasn't happy with the feel and stretch capacity of them so I made these.
Thanks Max for the correction!
Yes, Beenax do 41" fabric bands.
Nice review Mike. Nice additions to the resistance band arena.
Thank you!
Thank you for showing us great new products and for giving us your honest opinion!
Thanks for watching.
Really love the vector athletic products. Recently got the grips and they are a game changer. Love the video. Keep um coming 😁
Thank for commenting as a user of the products.
Thanks for reviewing these, I’ve seen them and been wondering about the quality and resistance level when compared to a standard higher quality layered latex.
Great video and great products!
I like those fabric loops , good review as always .
Thanks as always.
Cool product spotlight!
Have the belt and straps and bother are really well made and complement almost all band exercises.
Nice review…been considering getting those bands for a different feel.
I really dig the idea of the figure 8 idea. Also I'd be interested in checking out different band materials as well. Cheers!
Love the squat belt they made. So I’m going to try the figure 8 grips. Look cool
The figure 8 straps really intrigued me. I'm also looking at the squat belt.
I was just looking at these the other day wondering about them and screenshot them for consideration and you post this today, perfect timing!
My biggest issue with a lot of my resistance bands is that its often too steep in the resistance curve and when I'm trying to use loop style bands on my Total Gym it can make completing some of the larger range of motion exercises hard to complete.
But if something like these that are more forgving, I'd likely have more luck in reaching that sweet spot of keeping a good intensity and not being limited by the harsher strength curve to finish my reps.
I actually REALLY appreciate bands that have smaller strength curves, like 10lbs to 25lbs or such vs 30lbs to 80lbs. It makes it a lot easier to track things. But I'm glad you covered these.
Really appreciate that detailed comment. It's good to have a mix of resistance curves with the variety of bands coming out.
Hopefully they come out with at 37 or 38 inch band. I like the resistance curve on those better.
I bought those fabric bands with your referal, will be nice to use them in the park
Just today, I purchased the VA Split Squat Band Belt, in large part thanks to this channel. Vector is coming out with some interesting products.
Great to hear. That is a solid product.
I like the bands that have more give so I can do high reps and keep my joints healthy. Great video!
Thanks Andrew.
Nice honest review. The fabric bands seem to be designed for longevity. Looks like a quality product 💯 Great video Mike!
Thanks Larry.
Love training with bands, tube and flat bands. The 8 band looks interesting.
The last winner never got back to me, so that makes you next in line Jim! Please email me within 48 hrs to claim any free item from Vector.
Another great review! I've been using the Vector Athletics silicone bands for a couple of months now & they are my preferred bands. I also have various latex band sets. I like the more gradual resistance of the silicone bands & they feel much more comfortable to the touch. I also appreciate the VA split squat belt as I had a laminectomy last year & I can do a full leg routine without overloading my spine.
Thanks Philip, good to hear from a user of the product.
Glad to hear the products are working well for you, thank you for your business!
Kensui also has 41 inch fabric loop resistance bands.
interesting new products, i dont think i’ll get any of these but I still use his band handles and the ezcurl bar he put out. those have been great
I got some cloth/latex mini glute bands off Amazon a while back and had the same experience as you, surprised how much I like them. Very neat feel in hand and they seem like they'd hold up longer than normal bands. Afterward I was looking to see if any brand made them in 41". Thanks for sharing this! I'll have to check them out.
Super cool company that is creating products for resistance band workouts!
I've started to get into bands in a big way. These definitely look like my kind of product
Congratulations, you won the random selection for a free Vector Item. Please email within 48hrs to claim.
Yes Mike right down my alley!
Thanks Lou. Always good when you like something.
Third times a charm...Other two never claimed, it's yours Lou if you can send me an email within 48 hrs
Great review. I definitely like the rounded edge on the silicone bands, would definitely save me from getting nicked up on my arms and back. However, for me to consider purchasing the silicone bands I would need more resistance.
Got to add you can always stack them. Thanks for that comment.
The fabric bands are interesting especially the longevity
I have used the fabric bands for about 6 months, and they are great so far.
didnt they just come out? how did you have them for 6 months
@outtrigger, you are right. I just checked, and they are a different brand. But the fabric style are nice for priming hips and shoulders without pulling out hair.
Damn these are all very cool. Wish I could try everything haha
Great stuff Mike and great stuff Vector Athletics. Own the handles and split squat belt. Excellent and incredibly well thought products for a very specific destination of usage. I am in 100% for the fabric bands. I think about how much time-saving, smoother and forgiving they can be during a 60’ hybrid work-out vs latex only bands. Convenience of storage unraveled. Those things matter a lot when training alone in a small space. On top mechanics seem great. Just one question, is there a specific way to turn the split squat belt onto a full squat belt (for clarity using one of the branded footplate)? thanks a lot great job
Thanks for that question and positive comment. Can you elaborate on that question, I think I'm missing something?
Hi Mike, I stumbled across your YT channel looking for info about resistance bands. Great content! Didn't realize there was such a variety of products and accessories available. I would be interested in trying out the fabric resistance bands. Thanks for offering the giveaway, good luck to everyone! Keep the content coming!
As the great John McClane said, "Welcome to party pal". Thanks for that comment bother.
Interested in the silicone bands! My kids can use them as well! ....... Still rocking the Total gym, Love it!
Thanks brother.
Good stuff
Thanks Joe.
AYEEE I JUST GOT THESE BANDS TODAY MIKE! WHAT A COINCIDENCE! 😄
Belt squat looks good
The fabric bands look interesting.
Those were my favorite in case you missed it.
Nice work Vector Athletics! I just purchased your squat strap and now I may purchase a few more items…but I’ll still enter to win a free item though! 😃
Thank you!
Figure 8 straps! Can’t believe I have never seen anyone use these in this way before now. Great idea Vector Athletics!!! I may need to get these :). Have the VA squat belt and grip handles. Both great products!
We need to get you a VA shirt!
Thanks for the giveaway.
Thanks for watching.
I think bells of steel had fabric 41 inch bands. Great video
Thanks Tim, for that background.
Have you done a review on the Redge fit bands yet ?
No I have not, sorry.
hey mike, do these silicon bands need the same maintenance as latex bands e.g band butter etc…
Hey thought I'd chime in. No they do not, just take a damp cloth and wipe them down occasionally, makes maintenance super easy.
Thanks Tom for that question. I see Max already answered it. I actually had a part in the video about that and edited it out for the sake of time. But great question.
Can the 8sling utility straps also be used as normal weightlifting straps?
Yes you could, but they'd be a little big for that purpose primarily. Here's a video on how those work ua-cam.com/video/Waw2S9H4Mjs/v-deo.htmlsi=_toNOxEHlXZolpZ8
Thanks! That was helpful.
♾️ ♾️ 💪🏼
Aussie's out of the giveaway? :P
I don't think so actually.
I like American Barbell resistance bands.
9:54 eh. Just get some 5" carbineers and some heavy duty gym handles. Way better than gloves, straps, or the other plastic handles from clench fitness.
Probably personal preference, I'd rather not mess with carabineers with my bands. 90+% I'm just grabbing bands with my hands.
