Thanks Gary, a nice change, 87 and still doing my routines. Steve Reeves has always been my idol, started lifting at 15. Weighed 190 most of my adult life at 5'10, now weigh 170 but have still maintained my form, still doing power walks six days a week at 5:30 every morning. Tom
I am 76 yrs of age working with weights more than 60 yrs but as we all know cannot maintain heavy exercises like in the day without burning out or getting injured. Good Video, Thanks .
I just want to thank Gary, I started my fitness journey almost exactly a year ago and his advice, tips, and workouts have been a huge part of me dropping almost 60 lbs. My program has changed significantly over that time and I always incorporate exercises, techniques, and tips that I've learned from him. Gary, you're a good dude.
76 years old still working out was a powerlifting for about twenty years I still do the three lifts just with lighter weight still do treadmill four days a week 💪
I do my back exercises on a flat bench facing up and using 2 homemade welded up cable attachments on my homemade pulley system. I have 2 pulleys welded on angle iron bolted to the ceiling joist in my furnace room. My full gym is in the other room in the basement. P.S. You need a photo on the wall of Steve Reeves, Larry Scott and Dave Draper when they were in their prime.
Great video. Love the light weight lateral raises for shoulders. I tore the long head bicep tendon last fall. Now the popeye bicep intact (ugh) not opting for any surgeries. Have you shown a video I could have missed on strengthening, building up the bicep(filling in the gap now from the torn tendon), as well as building up the shoulders, rotator cuff area, and eliminate the impingement I sometimes get in the shoulder where the tear was? Thanks brother!
I been exercise since grade school started lifting weights at 13 years old I’m over 50 now and I only do 3 dumbbells exercises the arms curl, leg squat, and chest incline press 😄
These guys don't respond. Yes to your question, I'm 64 5'10 173 and do each body part once a week. But you will have do 2 body parts like bicep and shoulders on one day. Monday...triceps, Tuesday...biceps and shoulders, Wednesday.... squats, Thursday...... chest , Friday..... back.
@@drbjr8223 LOL 😂, I looked for your lifting video but couldn't find it. No one is getting any good workout trying to do a full body workout 3 times a week. Obviously you don't workout.

Age related arthritis makes reverse lunges a challenge. I’ll start unweighted and work up to 10kg eventually. Thanks - much appreciated!
Great Video! Thanks 👍

My knees won’t let me lunge!
I'm 64 5'10 173 and will never do lunges. Squats are good enough for me.
Same here 😭😭
Love reverse lunges. Also skater squats.

Hi ,
Do any of these exercises work the triceps ?
Thanks
Awesome Workout
Just curious if you would do bicep dumbbell curls working both arms at the same time would it still have the same effect as working one at a time?
I been exercise since grade school started lifting weights at 13 years old I’m over 50 now and I only do 3 dumbbells exercises the arms curl, leg squat, and chest incline press 😄
Would be a better YT channel if they could reply to a few legitimate comments/questions
Don't have an incline press, so, what is the next alternative?
Great video, but that side lateral raise is not gonna work with my shoulder pain
I don't have an incline bench for the second exercise. What can I do. ???
Stability ball works great with lighter weights - will hit your core as well
Hello Gary is it ok to workout one Body part per day for 5 days God Bless Proverbs 3 5 Brother

if you're a beginner, most suggest you do fullbody 2-3 times a week. this video is actually a good start.

What about your triceps?
This workout does not have abs. exercises.
Shouldn't be stressing any joints at all after 50.
BS, I'm 59 and started working out a year ago and gained lots of muscle and lost 20 lbs. You need to know your body and listen to it.

That’s crap! The coach is trying to get her to play with the team. People should shut up!
