Love this! I remember seeing videos of Al when I was trying to figure out how to make my own resistance band set up several years ago. Standing in Home Depot or Lowe’s and getting after it they’re in the store with a resistance band workout off of pipes.

This F2 looks to have the most versatility of all the bars so far. One question; I saw in the video that you were using tube bands attached to the center of the F2 bar, what tube bands are of excellent quality and strength do you recommend ?Thanks again for the F2 review.

I'm not a huge tube band person, but I'm using these squatharness.com?sca_ref=5173717.yfnXRU7Ipi Shameless plug you can save 15% with "SBT15" I feature these because I find that for the cost they're hard to beat with what you get. I have also used bodylastics, but I like having the fabric covered ones so I don't have to worry about wear n tear as much.

i like how compact the bar is,i no longer bench with a long bar because it put to much pressure on my delts instead of chest,so ill have order one,bar looks solid yes.plus the price isnt bad and not just a ordinary bar having so many uses,appreciate u mike 🫡

As always your videos are awesome. I've been meaning to ask if you'd do a video comparing a total gym to a bowflex.
Many have asked for a Bowflex review but I've kind of given up on them just because I find using a resistance band would be similar and a little more cost effective. It's not totally out of the picture, but I think they just filed for bankruptcy so I'm not sure what will happen with them

I would use with resistance bands and some light weights. Like the versatility of this bar. It’s the one for me.

The bar is priced in a proper range for a band bar. Attaching a 7 or 5.5 inch carabiner snap hook to the eye bolt will allow a loop or tube band to be mounted safely. To purchase additional hardware to mount weights exceeds the pricing of an actual weight bar.

I'm quite interested in this; I'm currently using a cheapo Amazon bar for resistance band training and am reaching the limits of it. I was looking at getting a better bar but the price is rather steep; I understand the cost, but it doesn't make it easier to swallow to get into an entire system like the Harambe/X3.

It's intimidating at first, but pretty straight forward the more you realize what needs you'd have for it.

I wish it had something like a safety bar adapter for squats. Because I have arthritis my shoulders can’t go back to hold a straight bar.

My only question is- can you set up 2 anchor points on the sides of the platform for isometrics or just the one in the middle? I’m looking for something I can do isometric bench press on, as well as other isometrics where I can pull more evenly on each side, rather than just the one point (like the Isomax).
Yes, you can set up 2 anchor points on the side. There's actually a crazy number of possibilities with the foot plate.
Does it have a rated strength ? Nothing mentioned on their web site. The FAQ is broken...

I have seen this product for quite some time. I actually inquired to the company about some questions I had on configuring a bar for my specific purchase. they never responded back, so I went with another product. Their customer service needs to improve.
I can't speak with your specific situation, but I can tell you talking MANY hours with Al, I think he does way too many customizations for his own good. With that said, I've seen some crazy things he's made for people. We're talking about doing some "limited run" equipment for specific things.
I just couldn't figure out exactly the configuration I needed. His website is just too confuing to navigate with confidence@@hybridresistance
Seems that it lacks the simplicity of the X3, but the more competitors in band hook systems, the better
I'd say it's more the knurling of the X3 that's the bigger draw because you certainly can just create a knock off with the F2 and just not mess with it.

@@hybridresistance Thanks been looking for an alternative to the pricer x3 bar. This one looked to be sturdy that won't break on me. I also liked the fact you can add some weights to that bar. The starter bar that cost $150 comes with the proper hooks for those latex bands? Any warranty on the bar that you know of? I am just starting seen so many positives of the usage of this type of equipment that I bought a used x3 board from a trusted source. I am someone whom is new to this I heard that serious steel and Rogue bands are just as good as the x3 bands which would you recommend that is just as good, but at a good price point? Thank you in advance! ❤

I hear you Paul, but it's really as complex as you want it to make. I know Al was pre making and selling many of them for people who wanted cheaper X3 alternatives initially.
