I really appreciate your extensive coverage of this subject. My mother recently discovered she had a bladder prolapse when discussing her urinary retention with her medical doctor. Of course, he talked about options including a Pesiri or surgery but we prefer to look for conservative solutions that address the root problem. She is scheduled to see a GYN and meantime we are doing our research. This breakdown and your other resource videos are exactly what we needed. I told my mom, I’m sure there is a professional out there who has also experienced what you are going through and here you are :-) Thanks so much!
Thanks so much for all the info you have shared. I am 56 and about to have surgery for a bladder prolapse 15 years after my hysterectomy and repair. Your energy is so reassuring and I am so pleased you have so many videos for my recovery time. Thankyou🙏💗
I was diagnosed at 15 (no child birth) with stage 3 almost 4 pelvic organ prolapse including rectocele, cystocele, rectal prolapse and uterine prolapse (Although I noticed it at 12. currently 16) . It honestly does feel hopeless. because I am on the toilet for 7 hours trying to push out mostly diarrhea. Not constipated but my prolapse is so severe that the muscles there don't work. can't wait for my surgery in about a month. so scared for it but also that is my hope. I came back to the channel because after surgery I want to make sure that it doesn't come back. because like my colorectal surgeon said "It will come back in a week if you sit on the toilet too long AT ALL" Trying to get my stool to be not mostly liquid and trying to keep hope despite officially being house bound and my life at a pause. videos like this do really help because everything online feels so hopeless.
@K. Pep. I'm doing great. I had surgery with an ileostomy placement. They lifted up my prolapses so they are no longer falling out. I got diagnosed with mEDS. mEDS only happens in less than 1 in a million. It causes muscle weakness and tightness with elastic connective tissues. Which is essentially what caused prolapse that young. But I am no longer depressed. I graduated high school at 16 and started working full time. I do sometimes have issues but they are far better issues to deal with than what was happening beforehand. Doctors actually believe me now instead of telling me I'm mentally insane. So my physical health and mental health is MUCH better. If you don't mind me asking, what did you recently get diagnosed with and what is your age?
@@gimygaming8655 OH WOW!! I’m so glad you’re doing better! What a wild diagnosis. I saw where someone else had that & prolapse. I’m 35 with newly diagnosed bladder prolapse.

Very comforting, Jessica! Thank you 💞 1. Remember there is hope-focus on what you can do! 2. Surround yourself with a team of professionals that can help. 3. Lifestyle management 4. Exercise!
A huge THANK YOU Jessica for this message of hope! I’m thinking of doing a prolapse and I have an appointment on December 14th with a gynecologist to take stock (he saw me in September and had seen a slight organ drop)... I will therefore follow this 4-week program and thank you again for this message of hope because I am very worried about no longer being able to exercise (fitness, muscle building, long walk, ...) beautiful day and soon!
Hi Jessica, thanks for your videos. I was recently diagnosed with bladder and rectal prolapses stage 2. My urogyn explained the different options. I believe my prolapses were caused by heavy weight lifting at the gym. Looking back I can see that I was always bearing down. I want surgery as a last resort and I don't feel comfortable about a pessary. I've been doing kegels and will be seeing a pt. Thanks again.
Thank you so much for this video! ❤️ I'm only 30, but have had 2 kids and also have a servere case of joint hypermobility syndrome, I have multiple prolapse and start pelvic floor physiotherapy in a few weeks. Surgery is a maybe for now. This video gives me hope ❤️
It feels like everything that I love doing, I can no longer do, and whenever I feel like I finally can, eventually I get prolapse symptoms. Just found studio pilates and was so excited, only to realize that the bearing of weight through my feet, the arm weights and both legs in the air are all unsafe for prolapse 😔😖. Now I have to cancel the membership that I just excitedly paid for. This is severely depressing. I feel like I can't do anything and I so badly wanna join a safe workout class for motivation.
I'm doing a happy dance right now!!! Thank you so much for sharing this information. I'm on Day 7 of doing your pilates videos. I've got a Grade 1 uterine and Grade 2 posterior and anterior prolapse and it's been quite an adjustment over the last 6 months. I went straight to a women's physio and they've been absolutely amazing. Surgery was discouraged from the get go and a pessary along with pilates was recommended along with lifestyle changes. Finding your videos is now part of my journey so a huge THANK YOU!!!!
I went to a urogynecologist and all she wanted to do was surgery. She got mad at me because I chose a pessary! I have yet to find a physical therapist in my area. Will find one.
The one I was referred to said it was just a “quality of life issue” meaning the insurance company would do diddly… (But if I was a man who couldn’t get it up…)
Hi Jessica I have a pelvic prolapse was diagnosed a year ago I seen 12:09 an urogynecologist last month got an ointment which I must insert 2x week for a month then 1once a week having some sort of discharge which is bloody and dark have an appointment in September for physio feel bit worried about leakage never had it before i.m doing some exercises from U tube with Tori
I like your video. Is it ok to do 1hr of yoga (warm ups+yoga exercises standing+yoga exercises sitting+meditation) + floor exercises while having a prolapse? Or doing only pelvic floor exercises is good enough?
I feel maybe having been going to the gym has caused me to start to prolapse. i suspect that i have a bladder prolapse after self examination because the wall is very soft and pushes slightly when i cough, feels like its far off whatever surface it beeds to be attached to and feels different than it did before, also looks different. Gonna go to the womans health clinic tomorrow for a walkin and see a gynecologist there. I'm praying im just overthinking but i dont think i am, it just doesnt feel right. I'm scared that i won't be able to do the heavy lifting ive enjoyed doing like DLs or BBS anymore because im sure it applies a bunch of pressure i just don't know how to notice. Gonna take your tips nonetheless as theyre very useful. Gonna stop going on my period JIC and go lighter on my heavy lifting
I am 26 and a female and just not too long ago I thought I had hemorrhoids because it was itchy down there and after a bowel movement I went to go clean myself and felt a tiny flap down there and took a photo to look and it was a pinkish looking flesh and I am scared that I might have a rectal prolapse. I want to go see a doctor but I’m scared that I will have to go through surgery.
@@k.pep.1253 turns out I don’t have a prolapse thank goodness! But I do have what’s called an anal tag. So it’s just a piece of skin from your anal that outgrew due to uncared or treated hemorrhoids. So now I just live with it and it’s not the most comfortable taking a dump with cuz it can sometimes be painful and I have to constantly clean it. I was given the option to do a rubber band surgery for it but I didn’t want to so I’m just living with it there now I guess.
Hi Jessica, how can i get to speak to you. I was just diagnosed with a bladder prolaspe by emerg doctor and my gynocologist won't see me until Jan 18th and there is no urogynocologist in my area onky urologists. I don’t know if i am in stage 1, 2 or 3 or 4. I don’t know what i can or can't do.

Hello. I really enjoy your videos. I underwent a hysterectomy and prolapse repair about 11 months ago. Am so worried about any kind of exercise that would make the repair fail. My surgeon just gave me “ don’t lift more than 20 pounds” advice. I love yoga and walking. Do you have any help for someone in my situation?
First off I suggest we do a one on one consult because there is definitely so much exercise that you are able to do! Most of the time the lifting restrictions come off after a few months so you may want to check on that. Also in the description of the video above is a link to my four week prolapse workout calendar - that's a great place to start!
