    Dr. Bri you have no idea how much you have made a difference in my life. For SEVEN years I had symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction, that no one, myself and multiple doctors included, could figure out. Like a lot of women who have gone through this, I did everything I knew to do as an individual to improve my situation and it was to no avail. I began to feel hopeless. At one point I started reading literature online and though you have to be careful doing that, it was then that I realized I probably had pudendal neuralgia, which I had never even heard of. So then the question was why do I have this and what do I do about it? I want to share this to those reading in case this happens to you. I had worn high heels almost daily for 20 years. I ditched the heels and started doing PT exercises I found on your channel and it was life changing, literally. In 5 days my symptoms dramatically improved. It has been 7 months and at this point I feel back to normal after 7 years of on and off symptoms. I also did not realize that TMJD, which I have, can affect the pelvic floor. I apparently was clenching my teeth so much in my sleep and had no idea that affects more that just your jaw. Getting a guard to wear at night was also life changing. Wanted to share my story to possibly help others and thank you!!

    I have been in pain for months. pelvic pressure, have been to different doctors, ER visits...UTI diagnosis, not UTI. intestitial cystitis....pelvic floor congestion..you name it. I finally got an appt with a uro gyne. she was the most helpful, recommended pelvic floor therapy. there is a 3 month wait! I stopped all alcohol intake, even if I was a mild wine drinker. cleaned up my diet. I take synergy K2 and D3 among other supplements. amidst all these, I lost my 31 year old son. I remembered your UA-cam program from before. long story short. Dr. Bri and the UA-cam help has given me my life back. I am pain free. thank you.
    I have a cystoscopy scheduled one month from now and will see if the doctor still recommends it.

    Hi Dr. Bri. I know you are very busy but can you please make more videos about pudendal neuralgia? I’ve seen your other videos about it and they help a bit but hopefully you have some more stretches for it and possible some glides that can be used. I could only find one video that offered a glide. This condition is very unknown and so painful. Most of the videos I find online explain the condition but don’t offer any treatment advice. The doctors and PTs that I’ve seen don’t know much about it. You are the only person who seems to genuine care about what they do. Thank you!

Boy, while i did some research beforehand and didn't feel as though I jumped into surgery, I wish I had found you sooner and delved a little deeper into a more conservative approach. I've found some support groups through FB which are good, but I sure would love better in person! Thankyou dr bree for your well explained video’s on pelvic floor PT, as for years at age 23 was told I had IC with total full on urany frequency with pain and pressure feelings. Went through many different treatments ( which never worked) left soo hopeless 😢for years. Then 3 years ago I came across an article by an Indian dr who explained how most IC patients have a problem with their pelvic floor. Then I googled the web and came across your video’s and started doing the PT and oh what a game changer for me, as I was so sceptical about how on earth could PT help my bladder problem. Well she was sooo right and I’m pretty upset with the Drs that they don’t seem to know about this problem as I’ve been trying to get help for years with this. Please don’t stop telling the world about these problems as I’m pretty sure there’s more people out there who have tried everything. Soo much better now and soo much appreciate your u tube Video’s, and thanks to my lord who’s also answered my prayers and in guiding me to you and all your knowledge and helpful words of advice. You make the best healer as you’ve been there yourself and so can relate to us. Once again thanks a million. God bless you always.

    Hey Dr Bri
    first I want to say that you're amazing for doing this, having this channel and share all of this amazing important information
    just the fact that someone knows and cares so much about it and deeply understand how irritating it can be is calming.
    I'm suffering from this kind of pain for years, already 31 years old, not sure exactly why and how it happened, I just understand is a very complex issue
    I went several times to urologist who gave me antibiotics which really helped for awhile but somehow the issue came back.
    I definitely taking your advices and start to try more of your exercises and not just put everything on medicine, since I've already tried some of your starches you shared and it did helped alot, it seems to be that I need to continue and doing that everyday and it's not just going to dissapear.
    also I wonder sometimes, maybe it's my motorcycle which can cause this? usually my pelvic floor is more on it than my butt
    I appreciate you alot, thanks for being beautiful from inside and outside

    • @vibrantpelvichealth
      @vibrantpelvichealth  Рік тому

      I'm glad to hear that you've found some relief through exercises and stretches. It's essential to continue working closely with healthcare professionals to determine the underlying cause of your pain and to develop a comprehensive treatment plan. If you suspect that your motorcycle might be contributing to the issue, it's worth discussing this with your healthcare provider, as they might have insights or recommendations specific to your situation.
      Remember that pelvic pain can have various causes, and a multidisciplinary approach, involving urologists, physical therapists, and possibly other specialists, could be beneficial. Consistency with exercises and stretches, as well as maintaining an open line of communication with your healthcare team, is key.
      If you haven't already, consider consulting with a pelvic floor physical therapist. They are trained to address issues related to pelvic pain and can provide tailored exercises and advice based on your specific condition. They can also work with you to identify any lifestyle factors, including activities like riding a motorcycle, that might be contributing to your symptoms.

    Dr. Bri, do you have any pelvic floor safe workout programs? I noticed the collections of videos on your UA-cam channel, but not sure if you offer something like a calendar of workouts to follow on certain days?

      I recommend checking out the "camps, retreats, and series" section on the homepage of my UA-cam channel. And if you're looking for a guided step-by-step program for pelvic pain then my Overcome Pelvic Pain program is great, or Lift for Prolapse Relief. Both of my full-length guided programs can be found on my website: www.vibrantpelvichealth.com/

      Yes, dyssynergia (often referred to as "pelvic floor dyssynergia") is a specific type of pelvic floor dysfunction where the pelvic floor muscles don't coordinate properly during bowel movements, making it difficult to fully empty the rectum. Can you get pudendal nerve entrapment just from kegeling? 8 years ago I had an anxious sexual encounter with a girl and was clenching my pelvis very hard over a longer time during sex. A day later I wasn`t the same. I don`t have a sexuality anymore. My genital area is completely numb and cold, no libido, no erections and pain. I don`t know what to do. My pelvis is extremely tight. It feels like I have an entrapment on my right side. It`s just horrible. I can`t have a relationship because of it. I tried meditation and stretching for 2 month but it wasn`t doing anything so I gave up. Maybe it wasn`t enough time but it`s so difficult to keep going if nothing changes. I tried many other things as well but mostly the physical stuff. Did you ever heard of such extreme pelvic floor tightness? Like Im sitting on something. It´s unbelievable tight. I don`t want to give up but on the other hand I can`t live like that my whole life

    Is it normal if someone not married yet have weak pelvic floor?

    • @vibrantpelvichealth
      @vibrantpelvichealth  Рік тому +3

      Yes, this can absolutely happen. However, your pelvic floor might be weak because of too much tension! Weakness can be from too much tension, or too much laxity in the muscles (although too much tension is much more common). You can take the quiz on my website to see if you have symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction: www.vibrantpelvichealth.com/quiz

    Hey Dr. Bri! I’ve been struggling with SPD for years post partum. I’m still in pain. I’ve done pelvic floor therapy, modified all my workouts, limited the weight of items I carry, etc etc etc. is there anything out of the box I’m missing? Nutritional? I don’t feel like I’m low in anything, but maybe the healing that’s not coming is something I haven’t figured out?

    • @vibrantpelvichealth

    Oh, that I had known this before I had a partial hysterectomy due to a mild prolapse (weight lifting). Kegels made it worse because I was doing them incorrectly - I was actually pushing everything out instead of drawing everything up. Internal exam by a PT and NOT an OBGYN gave me much more information.
