I doubt Tony would support Eugene’s family. Not cause he thinks they don’t deserve it but because they had just inherited over a million dollars from him aunt. They don’t really need Tony and she seemed to hate Tony when they can’t move to Florida
I swear, these old wrasslers are delusional asf. Because they best the f out of a few jobbers (who are paid to take a beating), they go to bars afterwards in packs (and everyone one of them are huge and jacked up on roids) and they probably bullied and beat up a few truckers and other Joe schmoes.. And they think they're the baddest dudes out there. Even back then, if they ever ran into someone who knew a little about fighting, they'd get their ass beat. But of course, you never hear those stories from these guys.. Remember back in the day if you're a pro wrestler and you lose a street fight, the promoter of whatever organization you wrestle for is gonna fire you. So even if they got their ass beat, their going to do their best to keep it a secret. I'm just tired of these old wrestlers talking about how tough they were.
Well you just pointed out what allowed them to be the "baddest around" If they ran into anyone who knew how to fight. Most people, even today with all the MMA gyms that have popped up, don't know how to fight. You ever see your average guy try to fight? It's hilarious. They got about 15-30 seconds of cardio before they gas out. They throw wild, shitty punches while their pants are falling down. Double bear hug lock as the stumble and stagger all over the fucking place. Guys will block by turning their head away, and holding their hands out. Last fight I saw, a guy swung so hard, and missed, that he fell down and hurt himself before the other guy tried to kick him in the face. The kicker didn't even know how to do that, split his pants, and then was gassed out because he's 2 pack a day Paul. Fight over.
@@MaxxCoyotefair point. Even today, I see a lot of videos on social media where people have no clue how to fight.. I guess I'm just sick of hearing these wrestling guys praising each other like they're invincible when they were just mostly beating up fat drunk slobs at the local bars. There's no doubt that there were definitely some legitimate tough guys in the business but I'm sure a lot of these stories are either greatly exaggerated or pure BS.

I could listen to these two talk all day. Austin is such a student of the game and Corny's knowledge is encyclopedic.
Ole Anderson actually, legit scared me as a kid! His promos were so believable, so real! God's speed, R.I.P to Mr Ole Anderson!
What was so unique about Ole Anderson was when he spoke, no matter what he said, he made me believe everything he said.
I like Ole . He was right about Corporate wrestling being the death of the industry .
But he was wrong when he told taker he’d never make money.
@@timpruitt5783To be fair, Mark Calaway may never have drawn a dime... but the Undertaker gimmick and its push made him a monster draw in the end.
The industry isn’t dead tho it’s thriving and worth over 10 billion nowadays, far more than the time of Ole and his hokey black scorpion crap
@@gigglemaniarunninwild2207Product has never been worse, yet WWE is thriving the most.
@@wateo1782 product sucks but the comment said “death of the industry” which is completely the opposite
I'm almost 60 years old, and one day, I hope to grow up to be Ole Anderson.
They did much the same thing in MidSouth . The Rock N Roll Express smashed his face into the cake
Kind of weird to hear Corny on someone else's podcast.
Fred Ottman is lucky he didn't break his leg on that 2x4
Watch Jim cornette promos he's one of the best of all time
It's funny, sometimes those rough, gruff guys are at worst at least honest. You know what you're getting.
Name anything, any industry, any company that "corporate America" hasn't destroyed

RIP Ole Anderson
Can anyone post the link to the video on UA-cam they were talking about? Where Davey Boy says he fell on his butt.

They should have had Fred Ottman as Shockmaster turn on Dusty and become a heel.
