Maybe she had a lawyer and the others did not.
@@Raqd7Their point is that US police needs to learn the concept of due diligence. Sending the SWAT team for stolen car maybe considered excessive.
@@tringuyen7519 exactly. And the wrong house ? So many times. That’s not acceptable, it could go horribly wrong when their convinced there’s a dangerous criminal in there.
Y’all couldn’t even win the great emu war. Don’t tell us how to live.
They made granny upset for breaking into her house.
They TOTALLY TRASHED her house, and destroyed the garage with a battering ram..even though she GAVE them the code to get in!😠 smdh
They could have redone the house and gave her a little extra spending cash.
That would have been sufficient enough 😏
I'm glad that grandma got some justice!
Grandmas: They rush right in hard
Uvalde: “Nah, we can’t go in there”
Amerikkkan priorities
I don’t know if you’re in Texas, but oh so true & sad at the same time. I gotta laugh to keep from crying🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good for her ..retirement is going to get easier ..God bless her little heart
They used the "find my phone" app to locate him? Seriously? That is a problem within itself!
This clip does not tell the whole story. The individual whose truck was stolen used the find my phone app to track an old phone that was in his truck. It led him to the general vicinity, but not her house specifically. He gave that info to local PD who failed to perform their own investigation. Somehow they managed to secure a warrant from a judge based on no credible evidence. All of the people responsible for this need to be fired or otherwise removed from their position!
I can't believe the swat officer asked her if she had any weapons on her. If anything, she's 78 and needs some protection. This hurts my heart because she looks like my deceased grandma who raised me. 😔 Seeing that beautiful picture of this elderly lady almost brought me to tears. I can't believe they did this to her.
Protocols
@prime9048 I understand. But it is still weird to ask a 78 yr old woman who they knew was just in the shower and in her bath robe if she has any weapons after she was demanded to come outside during a swat raid. Protocol should be thrown out of the window after traumatizing her. It's affecting me too much. She looks just like my deceased grandma.
@@BBroadnax who cares if she is a grandma or your mama , anyone can be a hostage
Have you ever seen the movie RED? 😂@BBroadnax
@@BBroadnaxok.. sorry to hear but protocols have to exist. if you start ignoring protocols for certain cases you increase the odds of ignoring protocol and it resulting in bad consequences
How many time's have i heard theyngot the adress wrong jesus
Oh that healing process began when that check hit
"too rattled to talk"
Bruhhhh
She should be thanking that SWAT team for that miscalculation. Granny eatin' good.
God blessed her and awarded her millions of dollars. What a beautiful soul to have this much patience
God blesses her with 3M, and yet gives all the little children who beg him to make the bad man stop, two middle fingers.
That god sounds like Satan in my opinion.
But outside of magic land, I'm glad the elderly lady won her case!
I’m surprised they didn’t say the Xmas tree was marijuana 😂
good thing she didn't have any oak trees

Notice how there laughing and joking while busting doors in thrashing the house. Swat teams get off on these raids.
Enjoy that money grams sorry this happened the fact they kept guns drawn on her is appalling.

😂 then mine next😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Alright everyone, get in line.
Let them come to my home, it will be pay day tired of working 😂😂😂😂
that was the calmest "raid" iv e ever seen. imagine being the neighbors and seeing a SWAT team going in for the grandma next door and them trying to figure out who she could possibly be lmao
They did this for a stolen truck, and 6 iPhones??? 😂😂😂😂😂
4 million bro my door is wide open feel free to come on innnn lol

Incompetence at its finest
the person was probably in the next house and was able to get away because of this.
You would think they would have verified intel before they raid someone's house. Happy to hear they were hold accountable and this family went after them. Hope your family is on vacation somewhere enjoying life.
Why on earth would they not let her unlock the storage unit and garage? She’s obviously cooperating with the team
Because the police thought there was someone else inside armed and dangerous, they must investigate them selfs
She hit the jackpot without paying for a lottery ticket!
Insane , and the award of 3.76 MILLION dollars merely compounds the insanity
Why that amount of money?
It's a message, to change police procedures and protocols.
@@DrWoofOfficial A lot of property damage.
especially when you consider things couldve gone south REAL quick. a man was swatted, he was innocent, but when he opened the door he screamed, which made them fire.
The award is well deserved. They can print more money, but grandma can’t never undo the trauma.
I'm kind of glad she was alone, knew to stay calm , and nobody got hurt.....
Most deserved settlement! I would be beyond myself if this had to happen to my mother. I hope the money eases her trauma. She looked so vulnerable, but yet stays friendly.
Uh, couldn't they just get her key without destroying every entrance?
$4 million is INSANE. Please raid my house.
They damaged her home! Insane.
Best ending possible! Thank you to the jury the gave this woman justice. 👏🏿
Well that “justice” was still taxpayers money. The department never commented or anything
Poor grandma, she looks so calm,so sweet 😘… bless her heart 😘
The fact that she bravely got out mid shower and still seemed polite 🥺
She deserves every bit of it so happy for her and her family
Pay up with interest!!!

Should be coming directly from the incompetent cops' pockets, not us taxpayers though..
