I grew up with drunks, and hearing how that police chief is talking tells me he is not only drunk but he is a full on alcoholic. "Billy Billy Billy listen billy, billy billy, listen, you're suspended, listen your suspended, billy your relieved, billy your suspended...." spoken like a true drunken loser
Yup. Tells me the chief committed multiple misdemeanors and potentially a felony (if he drove to the scene himself) and is getting paid by the taxpayers to be on "vacation" from the job he's unfit to have, instead of being arrested like any normal citizen would be if they'd done what he did. 😠
It's one of those where office politics will determine whether you get thrown to the wolves or exonerated. My guess is the chief has rivals or enemies, who see this as an opportunity to get rid of him so they can take his job. Sgt. Major should have arrested the chief for obstruction or assault (also, potential DWI). Instead cops have to fight it out among themselves like school children in the playground. Why don't they act like adults who are empowered to enforce the law against other LEOs?
Lol every cop I know is a drunk and a coke head . Let’s be serious and honest . That’s been a common since the beginning of time . They put whiskey in their coffee cups . That’s a very stressful job , I understand why they turn the drugs and alcohol. Same with doctors unfortunately
Im not he acted like a tough guy over nothing, there was no "grab" that was visible and officer big shot could have easily just reported this guys drunken behavior without acting tough.
Yea but they also acted like pussies and didnt stand up for him. If that shit went down and the chief asked me what i saw, id tell it straight. "You put your hands on the Sergeant and he reacted exactly as he should. Gtfo of our scene"
And then Chief questioned the other officer, "What did you see?" - seemingly under coercion/pressure - and Sgt Major was smart to keep recording that conversation, which obviously made the officer under question highly awkward, he described the altercation as plainly as possible, seemingly trying not to respond at all, his final rubbing the back of his head showing obvious signs of discomfort and distress. This Chief while involved in immoral habits is trying old school methods to control his crew and use 'deny deny deny' tactics to hide his behaviour, rather than choosing to become a better person and leader.

He aggressively assaulted a Chief after being giving a direct orders. Post non-compliance... preceded to physically assault said Chief in a violently aggressive way. Although this Chief may have been intoxicated, one can be certain it was not proved that night. So facts as we know them which can be proved by viewing this footage. Sgt. Billy violated Dept. policy and did in fact assault a superior officer. I humbly disagree with your assessment of this footage.
This cheif has no business showing up to a DWI while he himself is drunk! What in the hell kind of other things has this chief been up to. Shaddy behavior
This Sergeant was trying so hard NOT to say it, apart from the one time he blurted "drunk again" to another officer. “He’s drunk again” should never have to be said about anyone in law enforcement or public service during their job. The first time should mean you’re OUT.
Chief was off-duty. However, he was still violating the law, in plain view of a police officer. Definitely a no-no for a Chief. All LEOs should be held to a higher standard.
He was off duty… Cops deal with the same 20% of the population 80% of the time…. If they drink at home to deal with the BS they deal with every single day…it’s NOBODY’S fucking business…. But driving to the scene drunk and being drunk AT work is inexcusable…..

I seen the video the chief was wrong but the sgt needs to be in jail because of assult if it's any indication how he handles stressful situations the chief is still his boss and he should treat him as such there was about 3 to 4 police officers excluding him that sgt is an embarrassment
Their all corrupt except Billy 😂😂
@@Forgiveusall01"They're" & you're correct. The blatant way the 'chief' was browbeating his subordinate into cosigning his version of events.
the second Billy was suspended, since the 'chief' was on scene all command decision should have defaulted to him, now if anything else bad happen, let the 'chief' deal with it. ' oh sorry i was drunk on duty' is not a good defense i think
The fact that the other cops immediately pull the chief back after the sgt planted him on the car, followed by the "he's drunk again" says everything. These officers have been allowing him to get away with it for too long.

What kind of career do you have if you allow this leader of law enforcement to break the EXACT law they are specifically investigating on scene at that moment? No integrity, no self respect, and failure to do your job by arresting and or backing up the sergeant. Sometimes you must do the right thing regardless if the risk.
What are they gonna do? They can't fire him.
You can tell by the way hes acting that he think he will get away with the entire situation. And for the officers who never spoke up while this was happening shame on you.
Please fire that Chief.
Unfortunately all he got from this was a paid vacation

Chief saying “Billy.. stop you’ve got enough problems already” is fkn hilarious. Man has been immune to the law so long he literally doesn’t even realize he is the one in deep shit. Ego over 9000
Exactly. That police chief is the perfect example of a narcissist who gets into a position of power so they can throw their weight around and make sure that everyone knows they exist. They ruin lives because they are walking black holes.
hes also drunk so that power trip is x1000. putting his ego right at 9,000,000
I would disagree. Unfortunately, the Chief was only placed on a "paid administrative leave". That's not being in shit nor being it deep at all sadly.
@benedicktalusig3672 It will go on his permanent record, and he will develop a bad reputation if he doesn't have one already. I don't know what will happen to him after the year is up, but even if they do let him back on the job, he will be watched with more scrutiny. His life will be under a microscope. 🔬
If he screws up again after that, they'll probably force him into retirement. The end results may not be what we want, but as long as he isn't interfering with more on duty cops, that's a small win.
idk the one shoving him sounds like a prick who shouldn't wear the badge
So basically, the sergeant is treating a dwi while chief drove drunk to him.

No, he’s drunk. You can tell by this whole interaction that he’s drunk.

And by the way he was moving. He had that slow suffle walk of a lifelong alchy who is probably 3 times the limit but still manages to move without stumbling because he's been doing this his whole life. Lots of practice.
After googling the police chief’s name, in 2015 apparently officers sued this same chief because he created a policy that required all officers to turn in their personal cell phone bills to him monthly so he could “make sure they weren’t chit chatting during work” and allowed for him to read their texts, social media, call history, etc that occurred during work hours. Wow… I cannot imagine working with someone who feels the need to micromanage like that. I can see why they’ve had enough of this guy! So absolutely unprofessional

Good for him? That just means they've seen this before and did nothing about it. Just like in this video. Nothing done. They're all corrupt and evil. "Good for him" what a fucking joke
He did say that! Evidently this has been a pattern for the chief.
Any Chief or Officer with a suspicion of alcohol abuse problem should be reported to internal affairs! There should be NO brotherhood with alcohol or drug abuse!! Period!

That Sergeant got some serious balls. Good on him.
He laid hands on another person! He probably lost his job and may be looking at legal problems. “Good on hm” man he should have stood up for himself but not by throwing his chief on the car hood . They both need fired in my opinion. We don’t need a drunk cop and we don’t need another cop that flies off the hook over something little . We have to many police officers like that now and he is one of them.
@@royhopper6703 Because he explicitly told the chief, "Don't touch me", the chief then proceeded to put his arm on him, and that's when the officer grabbed him and slammed him on the hood. Chief showed up to the site of a DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) crash scene, under the influence of alcohol, and out of uniform to complain to that cop about how his patch was coming off and his reflective stripes weren't as reflective as they should be. And guess what, the sergeant went to work the next day and the chief caught a three month suspension (he ended up actually "retiring").
@FleurSaine Are you the police chief? Sure sounds like it. Good on the Sgt.
@FleurSaine He's trying to deal with an incident and you've got an INTOXICATED police chief giving him shit over some jacket. He warns the chief to not touch him and he does just that.
