- Rassler Racing joined the muscle car grid in the Pierpoint Cup with our yellow Mustang. Alex Taylor started from 3rd place in the front row with Andy Priaulx taking over after the pit stop. The power of the pony was sadly hobbled by the imposed rev limit of 6500, forcing the drivers to lift halfway down the straight.

The Studebaker driver was a little more aggressive than the tires were ready for

Well done UA-cam! 😁 This is at the Members Meeting weekend at Goodwood in UK. You should look up their Goodwood Revival live feeds as well; genuine classics racing it to the absolute max. Mix of professional and amateur drivers (often the owners).
This is some serious shit! I would pay big time to see this. Classis muscle and they're literally scraping each other's cars ball to the wall.

Looks like a blast. And they do have roll cages. The mustang cage is carefully installed to fit close to the a pillars. Hard to see
Looks like the car the camera is in is doing the smart thing and let the wild horses tare up things and maybe wipeout therefore reducing the number of contender's and "then" turning on and throwing the coal to it and moving up. If the race is long enough I appreciate the one's trying to win the race before it's half over because they'll generally do something to their car and hopefully you'll make it through the mess. I've seen some really bad wrecks in the last few laps but that's the time to put on the big boy pants and leter rip tater chip. I'll check out this series.

Must have been a handicap race , where the slowest cars start first, because all the other cars had more POWER
Nope, the cars were restricted to 6500 rpm but the quali was wet so didn’t really matter. Some of the cars just had come with better strategies to mitigate the rev limit and were able to push more in the race.
