almost bought a 914 once. but it needed serious work. and was first car for me.. wanted something less of a project.

no. good drivers with MR car, mean you go reallll fast. 914 turns in beautifully. corvair maybe. 914 means you have great handling. i love those old cars. a guy on my street has a 911. great cars.
Just goes to show how much better dynamically the 914 was compared to the 911. Such a pity the changes at the top of VW management effectively put an end to the 914 which, if it had enjoyed the same continuous development as the 911, would have been a World-beater.

@CANCERCONE A 'real' 914/6 is by no means cheap, espescially the GTs they're racing in this vid...You could buy a house in most parts of the US for what one costs.

I take a 914 over a 911 any day for its better handling...sorry just not a fan of 911
