Some years ago, me and a friend went to a 3 day rally event. After the first few minutes, a Porsche came around and was dsriving most of the time in the rev limiter. My friend said, this car wouldn´t last long and the engine will fail for sure. I said to him, man, this is a Porsche and it´s maid exactly for this purpose. At the end of the event on day 3, the engine worked still fine and was driven in the limiter nearly the whole time. There is only one reliable sportscar for me for sure, this is Porsche, period!
The sound, its all about the sound... love it when they just hold them on the limiter... LOL!!! My favorites are still Dobberkau and Zeltner back 10-15 years ago...

They're 997 Cup cars... reworked for Rallye... probably used from previous season Cup series... or just 997 GT3's.. These are not wide bodies... RSR's are for La Mans and cost millions...

I’m always torn between the flat six Mezger or the P65 from the Z4 GT3 as the best sounding engine.
Between those 2 I would pick the Mezger.
