Lemme just tell y’all this took me 5 HOURS
!! My hair is frizzy hard to get and KEEP DEFINITION, 4b, fine strands, & LOW POROSITY! I used the acv rinse, deep conditioner, clay mask, then the leave in + gel AND MY HAIR HAS NEVER LOOKED SO BEAUTIFUL AND DEFINED like I was never able to have a defined wash and go PERIOD but this time my wash and go is lasting for 5+ dayssss AND it’s beautifully defined even in the BACK!!! I love this method! ❤️❤️❤️

It doesn’t make sense to me to do the clay mask after deep conditioning, it’s sooo drying, deem conditioning should be done after to maintain the true maximum hydration.

I most definitely tried this method after watching her video as well. My curls came out poppin!
I practically use a modified version of this method every wash day! I just simply clarify love to clarify my hair every wash day! It’s just so great to always reset the hair every time.
Do you do this every two weeks or every week?
@@a.d.w8385 every week I clarify, deep condition, apply my leave in in the shower, add my styler, seal with an oil or mousse, and twist it up. Great hydration, and simple!

Yes it will, rhassoul clay is actually a more hydrating clay so you should notice a bit more moisture with it. Aztec or bentonite clay is more known for detoxification. Hope that helps 😊

I’m definitely going to purchase the Aztec Clay. I use ACV in my hair from time to time to alleviate scalp itching. Yes it stinks lol but it works. Thanks Curly Crys for your knowledge and helping all of us along our journey.
I just did an Amla powder mask , strength and curl definition for days ! I like the bentonite mask too
I tried this method, after watching Onlyonejess’ video, using everything except the gel. Don’t do wash n go’s over here! I promise it works!
So deep condition before mask? I thought it was the reverse🤔🤔
@@abiolaopeyemi6027 remember that the mask is also moisturizing, not just clarifying. so using it after deep conditioning isn't bad. also the mask will make your curls pop more if done closer to the styling process.

why do you do the ACV twice for this method? I dont understand the point of stripping, adding moisture, then stripping again.
You can use aloe vera juice instead of ACV twice. Using the ACV twice adds shine. I am going to use the clay first then the other steps. I couldn't get all of the clay out of my hair.
@@VIsidore I learned to out some oil in the clay mask (I use castor oil) and it comes out easier.
I did a clay mask on my daughter some mths back and it gave her hair liiiiife

I wonder can you use one of the clay masks from chocolate kinks and kurls instead of a regular aztec clay mask? I have both but i'm just curious

I think her hair is high porosity. I notice her hair really "drinks" up water (and products) very easily.

I don’t see why the method would not but I am not 100% sure! There’s really no steps in it that would harm High porosity so I would suggest trying it🙌🏾❤️

yes, the clay mask is clarifying enough to be a substitute for shampoo
@@areonnawilson1074 I agree. I use clay mask as my shampoo, then the leave in and gel. I did this when I first went natural, then for some reason I stopped. It had my hair so hydrated and it grew quickly. After many years, I started this process again this week. My curls immediately showed back up.

I need some max hydration because my hair gets dry so fast in this winter weather. I just clay washed my hair Sunday, Tuesday I'm cowashing, and today I'm putting conditioner back in my hair. Is this Chi Town livin? I did something wrong. All of my wash days don't turn out this way.

My products were too thick and sitting on top of my hair drying out 🙁 the apple Mane Choice is good for my hair😊
It helps to apply your products in a mirror where you can clearly see if any product is absorbing in the hair or just sitting on top. Low porosity, low density blues🙄
Yeah, knowing which products to use is very much so important!
