Hey I need help I’m a guy I have extremely soft hair it looks like it’s permed buh I’ve not permed my hair since 2017-2018. I’ve been following the Afro night routine and putting my hair in bun with bonnet before bed but in the morning when I take it off my hair looks like it’s ‘permed’ as I said earlier and finger detangling just makes it look wired so I pick out with Afro comb buh my hair has really been falling off I told I had spilt ends but people said I don’t. I tried hot oiling my hair a couple of days ago as I’m not so aware of natural hair I but more oil(Castrol and rosemary) and natural shea butter and it sat in my hair for like 2 days I had to rinse off my entire scalp felt oily and dirty and I washed my hair a week before I did that. I’m getting so flustered and thinking of just cutting my hair again can anyone help me out
Actually that's true I noticed when I use warm water I can comb my hair easily under the warm water 💆🏽♀️it's opposite than the cold water the comb it stuck in it and it hurts 😑
Do not use any product that has a coconut derived ingredient!!! Tl;dr coconut oil molecules are too large to get past our tightly closed cuticles. Any conditioner should mixed with water and be runny before applying it to hair. Same goes to creams/butters; heat them so they are runny before applying.
I tried this tonight and I was washed conditioned detangled and twisted up in 2 hrs. My hair felt so soft using the warm water and the leave in on wet hair ….. amazing can’t wait to see how my twist out turns out

I did the leave in tip this past weekend without knowing, and I was able to use much less leave in. Mine foams on wet hair so a little went a long way and no more coated feeling bc I'm using too much! Abt the LOC comment: People rarely use water for their liquid, so doesn't the leave in have ingredients to seal in the water by itself. Most good ones are made to coat and lubricate the strand, no? So the oil is just an extra layer to what is already "sealed". And why is it necessary to style on wet hair if the moisture is already sealed in?? I'm not too interested in the mechanics of everything but had these thoughts as you were sharing. Great tips!
Okay, sis!!! I tried the leave-in while in the shower. It did work. Thank you about the not rinsing with cold water. And, I’ve started using avocado and jojoba oil. Dee Dee (my hair) loves those oils.
The LOC method can work if you're using an oil that isn't a sealant. All oils aren't sealants. Some can penetrate the hair itself. The LOC method is wrong due to the oils people are using . Plus the LOC method requires an extra step at the end if it's being done right. I personally use the LCO method.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU for sharing all these fantastic tips!! 🥰 And the one that I'm going to initially start to apply is putting my leave-in conditioner on in the shower and covering my hair. Secondly using the LCO method. 😍🤗 After I get control over these tangles and knotted areas that keep appearing on my hair. I believe based on some other UA-cam videos it's protein "overload' which I've never heard of. 🤔Waiting on a specialist to call me back to make an appointment for a consultation. 🙏🏽🙌
So where does the cold rinse fit in to lock 🔐 in the moisture? That would wash out all your leave-in conditioner. Doesn't your hair shaft need to be closed? . . . Thanks for the TED Talk response 🤣

I’m getting so flustered and thinking of just cutting my hair again can anyone help me out
Thank you so much for the tips! I’m taking down my braids next weekend! I’m definitely following all of these steps!
God bless!
The day you woke up and decided to record this you had to say Toni need this yep I did thanks sooooooo much boo 😘😘😘😘😘
I tried this tonight and I was washed conditioned detangled and twisted up in 2 hrs. My hair felt so soft using the warm water and the leave in on wet hair ….. amazing can’t wait to see how my twist out turns out
You were so funny and I loved your energy so much that I just had to subscribe. 🤣

Her man came crying to me because she was being ungrateful because he bought her this big ole basket.. But she was sweatn my bracelet
Omg, I have to say THANK YOU. My hair became very dry after bleaching so I’ve been trying to restore moisture to my hair until I learned about porosity. I tried applying heat using hair dryer on shower cap, while doing the hair mask and THAT made all the difference to my hair! After just one session of that, it truly improved my hair moisture. Thank you so much. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Means we have to apply hair mask first then cover it with shower cap then use hair dryer??
This is my first time watching this and I gotta say, I like her energy...
You look like Porsha from Housewives of Atlanta! Anyone ever tell you that.

CurlieCrys Please keep doing what you do! We need you!!!
You talked about warm and cold water for a good ten minutes. Come on now. Smh
I’m subscribed just based off how you started this video sis 🤣🤣🤣
This is the one video low porosity girlies need
Oh wow, im so glad I watched, ppl were telling me to use cold water only
I just learned I have low porosity hair found this video! What great information! Thank you for taking the time to explain things so thoroughly!
WARM WARER IS KEY! You are right. 😘
Why this Sister know what she talking about?
this has been the most useful youtube video for me so far! thanx for literally saving my life queen 🙏
The LOC method can work if you're using an oil that isn't a sealant. All oils aren't sealants. Some can penetrate the hair itself. The LOC method is wrong due to the oils people are using . Plus the LOC method requires an extra step at the end if it's being done right. I personally use the LCO method.
Thank goodness I need this! I just found out I’m low porosity!! 🙌🏾💛💛 #EarlyGang
gangg! thanks for watching!
Doesn't your hair shaft need to be closed?

. Thanks for the TED Talk response 🤣
Thank you so much for the great advice. I was making the mistake of rinsing with cold water🥴What you say makes so much sense.
Your energy and personality is why I’m here 🙌🏼
