- Pokemon Competitive Singles saw the release of Linoone, an unremarkable looking Route 1 Normal type.
But Linoone was blessed with the coveted combination of Belly Drum and Extreme Speed. With the right support, Linoone can overcome its poor stats and turn into a monstrous win condition, eliminating entire teams with the powerful priority move.
While this is a gimmicky strategy that requires an entire team to support the plan, this has worked in a Tournament before. Let's explore this concept.

Or perhaps he might want to learn how to make money playing video games on UA-cam. In any case, he's a powerful metagame force, with absolutely no interest in online game development schools.

The Horse Council clearly needs the assistance of professional mediator Corsola, in order to bridge the gap between the Water-type Horsea and the Rock-type Magcargo. Corsola, with her dual Water/Rock typing, is a natural fit for such a delicate political conflict.
I dunno, I've heard Corsola has undocumented Ghost-type relations, and while there's nothing wrong with Ghost-types, can we really trust someone with a past like that to be impartial in other type-based issues?
I heard that Corsola’s ghost-type relations were found to have ties to Gholdengo Investments, and supported Old Money in his rise to power. If Corsola were to mediate, I worry that Old Money’s and his money would persuade Corsola to defend Horsea’s stance. This would throw the Mudcargo alliance into disarray, and may lead to their removal from the horse council.
What should classify as a horse is if it learns High Horsepower. Kingler for Horse Coinsil.

In light of the corsola allegations, the hoeshoe crab Pokémon with the water rock typing could be a much better alternative.

After looking around, I realized that the average of my opponent's skill level has been increasing because of your informative and enternaining content. With Zebstrika’s Electric STAB, defeating Horsea may become far easier. Though with a lack of good physical Electric moves, victory may still remain far off.

And the Linoone + Gardevoir combo would continue to develop synergy in later generations, with Linoone learning Simple Beam and Gardevoir learning Stored Power, allowing Linoone to support Gardevoir to setup with Traced Simple, Calm Mind, Stored Power sweeps.

And with its below-average stats, even by gen 3's standards, and the ability "Pickup", which has no competitive function at all, Linoone's competitive potential wouldn't seem promising at a glance.

I am disappoineted to see that Mr. Cool has forgotten about the funny dog pokemon Smeargle, who also has access to STAB extreme speed (and was featured prominently on the iconic 3 silly dogs team)

I remember the first time I ran into this team on the ladder. I didn't know what was happening but I clicked substitute on my Celebi right as Gardevoir Mementoed and my opponent was like "welp". It would have caught me off guard TBH.

I *KNEW* one of the Paradox Pokemon were behind this! For some reason I was suspecting the involvement of Iron Fellow.
So I think I like these gimmick teams the most. Using stuff nobody expects and taking advantage of their unique properties is always fun. Belly Drum and STAB Extreme Speed sounds like a cool combo, but I can absolutely see why it needs so much setup. I'm sure its very satisfying to pull off when you successfully manage to use it though.

I have heard about Extreme Speed Linoone from False Swipe Gaming. Turns out, Linoone continues to use an Extreme Speed and Belly Drum combo in a lot of later gens.

I was actually thinking about Linoone in ADV recently, and how much it suffers from 4 moveslot syndrome. If it could fit Endure and Flail alongside its normal Espeed and Belly Drum and coverage to hit ghosts, it could be devastating. A +6, 1HP Flail at can one shot max HP Metagross and Foretress sets, even without spikes. Now THAT would be insane.

Jim, I think you might have overlooked the competitive use of giving a last mon p2 pickup instead of levitate in an endgame vs linoone and flygon (your only attacking moves are hp ground and earthquake)
