What I love about this channel is the subtle way they make me realize that having a good friend to work out with you will make you want to push yourself further. It also makes working out much more fun and makes the time go by much quicker.
John really knows how to train arms, I've taken inspiration from his training clips and it has helped me build huge arms naturally. If only I had the genetics for poppin veins though....

I’ve been a dishwasher for over 2 years and in rock climbing I realize I have above average grip and I realize washing dishes is actually great grip strength practice I’m like the karate grip kid

Real talk tho - I've learned A LOT from John 's vids on his YT channel (which everyone should look into eventually) these past years.
Very well spoken , has tips/tutorials, Q&As, even has a few guests coming in for interviews or even training sessions.
Considering I favor nutrition/health n wellness a bit more over training it self, the vids he has in that department - absolutely excellent. Grade A quality info
Broken down in a easy to digest format.
I only regret not meeting him at the Olympia last month. . grrr. . one of few that escaped me on Sat.

I’m starting to like this John Meadows guy, if only for his impressively sophisticated taste in comic book characters. Sub-Mariner is quite the shout-out for favorite comic book hero, I’m not gonna lie. For this fact alone, I’ll see if I can give some of these exercises a try, including his leg exercises from the other video.

I haven-t tried working out for muscle in ages (I do climbing now), but when I used to there were a lot of times things didn't feel good on my wrists and I would just try to push through that bad pain just cus I'd seen guys doing it on the internet. But yea now I see the feeling can change a lot depending on your body so what works for someone online won't necessarily work for me and I should go for what feels right!

Juji and John are such rad dudes and look like they are made of granite. I wish this was possible naturally. I’ve always idolized bodybuilders but I just can’t bring myself to get on gear. I really, really wish nature would let people who are motivated to get swole af to accomplish it without synthesizing hormones beyond natural limits. I think it has driven some of my body dysmorphia most of my life. My genetics make it difficult for me to be a lean aesthetic guy like Tyler Durden and I can’t get huge like these big guys without drugs. It is really a psychological battle for me. So I just pound away in the gym and do what I can with what I have. As an aside, I love what Juji and Tom are doing because they bring light to the variety of athletics and sports and also the strengths (no pun intended) of different people. They inspire me for reasons beyond how I look.

Yes there is a correct way to do a bicep barbell curl
Bringing your elbows forward from the body and then bringing them up while you're curling doesn't activate any more bicep curl as it becomes more shoulder exercise and then when you bring the bar up to your head again you are activating your shoulders
To really target your biceps as it only has a small range of movement
You keep your elbows tucked back still stuck to your side of your hips which automatically engages the bicep
And then bringing the bar to about parallel to your shoulders
There is a a video from Vince Gironda how to do the body drag curl
a MECHANICAL DROP SET!!! Love the term in that sense with dumbell curls!

That vein trick near the end is insane!
12:20, John had it backwards. Narrow grip works the outside (long head) of the bicep and wide grip works the inside (short head). Narrow grip builds the peak more.

The shoulder flexion in a dumbell/barbell curl activates more of the bicep. Johns unintentional form is not only a proper form but beneficial. Imagine making a curve or arc with the weight rather than pulling straight up.
Tom is looking much bigger these days, good work dude, looking good!
The best way is purely eating corn and doing corn lifts, no other way is as fast or efficient.

Can you explain supinated curls please. I genuinely don't know how or why you would do them. Been watching a lot of your videos and it's really been a good motivation to start learning how to train.
