It's too young to train in the Golden era of bodybuilding but the 80s had a philosophy no pain no gain
I used that philosophy in the 90s puked up many times during workouts bruised and battered myself blood from cuts dislocated my shoulder still trained I would have days were getting off the toilet was impossible
Modern day gym rats who take steroids wouldn't last one week let alone a whole day of training of that high intensity
You had to be insane to train like , yoy whould have that type of mentality, it took lot of damage to my body

How do you still have ads with that ringtone at 4:18?! I suppose it's okay when you're being trained by Mark Hamill.
Man, I feel like Tom finished his cut right there and only has to rest a week while the fat falls off!
John Meadows seems like an amazing coach to have. Those words of assurance "I wouldn't ask you to do anything you couldn't do" are far more motivating than some dude screaming in people's faces. He seems like the kind of guy you don't wanna disappoint because he believes in you.
I think you needed a tripod for this session!

      *1*. Leg extension machine:
      2 warm-up sets of 30 and 20 reps.
1st set: 5/5/5 after each of the 5 reps hold the weight for a couple seconds then straight rep the next 5.
2nd set: 5 slow motion reps (10s per concentric portion) + 10 normal reps
3rd set: drop set of 15 normal reps and 5 slow reps
      *2*. Leg press:
1st set: 5+1/5+1/5+1 -> 5 normal reps and a 6th slow motion rep (10s per concentric portion); no rest in between
2nd set: 12/10/8/6/4/2 hold the weight for 10s in between with no rest.
      3rd set: see 2nd set.
*3*. Hack squats or smith machine:
1st set: 5 pause reps (5s per pause)
2nd set: 5 slow motion reps (10s per concentric portion) + 10 normal reps
      3rd set: 15 normal reps + 5 slow motion reps + 10 normal reps.
*4*. To top the workout off: lunges until muscle failure; you might need a partner to keep you motivated :)

I'm pretty good at legs. Walking around at over 300lbs for nearly 15 years (i'm 34, first hit 300 at 19, now down to 260) legs were pretty strong, and I could typically outlift most everyone I knew. I really, really, don't want to do what was done in this video. Mad props to you guys. And I subscribed to John Meadows channel as well. Dude's a beast!
