There are so many guitarists in the world with amazing technical ability as evidenced by UA-cam, but how many of them can write original compositions that move people and stand the test of time? This is what separates guys like Vai and Satriani from everyone else.

02:30 - wow, we the fans have been waiting our entire lives for this moment, when Steve Vai solos on a Satriani recording (or vice-versa!). The two guys' shared history needs no further elaboration by me and instrumental guitar fans know the G3 concert series brought these men together on a shared stage so many years ago. But this is the first time to my knowledge where there's been a formal recording featuring the two men like this.
Kudos guys, I wish many happy years of playing and recording to come for both of you.
