I have been following this from the beginning, when Dave Neal & Reality Steve started covering this. Then Megan Fox & TUG got on board. This has more twists & turns than a mile high roller coaster. Doing a 7 hr stream, Ian, probably wouldn't be enough to cover the layers of lies, BS, & number of attorneys on Laura's side! This woman is worse than Amber Turd, & if she's not held accountable, she'll do it again. Clayton is, at the very least, #5! She needs to be held both civally & criminally liable!

What's ironic is after Owens told Echard that she was pregnant, she tried to get him to sign a dating contract that required they date "with intent" for a period and he would get to decide the outcome of the pregnancy. Once her atty filed a motion to compel lunch, I was like, wonderful, her counsel also apparently likes to contractually obligate ppl to dates.
Dave needs to get a restraining order from this crazy B lady. She needs help and to stop wasting the courts time and money.

Did she ever produce the evidence that she was compelled to produce? No obgyn records have been produced… nothing positively proving the pregnancy has been produced…
She thinks it's proof enough to show that she booked an appointment with a Dr. She also showed a photo of a positive home urine test and also thinks this is acceptable. She disclosed a blood hCG test from October but the results done align with her story of pregnancy and miscarriage. She submitted an ultrasound image but admitted in her deposition that she edited her name and the location. She says it's her image, other analysis shows it's not.

Trial is June 10th and while it make not be live, Megan Fox Writer has arranged with the course to set up cameras and release the recording after if she can't get it done live.

The medical records should be provided to Clayton's attorneys DIRECTLY FROM THE MEDICAL PROVIDER, and under affidavit. Affidavits of business records is normal when admitting medical records into evidence.

They sent the requests for records to the doctors Laura said she saw. This far, they have come back that they never saw a person named Laura Owens.

This reminds me of a guy that I worked with decades ago. He had a crazy girlfriend who was continuously concocting crazy stories and trying to find ways to scam insurance companies. The guy got tired of her and briefly broke up. A few days later, she informed him that she was pregnant. He offered to pay support but didn't want to reunite. A few weeks later, she informed him that she was having twins and that he needed to come back. For the sake of the twins, he returned and even married her. A few weeks later, she informed him that the doctor had called and he had made a mistake. She had never been pregnant!

I have issues with the claim "high profile cases go to federal court". That's not how that works. That's not how that works AT ALL.
Outside of the sheer miracle of her “getting pregnant” without penetrative sex (per Clayton’s claim I believe), the way she was so evasive about “proving it” would make me immediately suspicious. Someone putting that much effort into getting this man to keep dating her should be pulling out all the true stops, all the tests, the paternity stuff. The fact she hasn’t tells me everything. And the “I’ll abort the pregnancy if you go out with me” is insane. Women chasing real deadbeat baby daddies will nail them to the wall with evidence and proper filings, if they chase at all. She needs serious mental health help, and people around her who do not feed into her delusions. The fact she could even file a parenting plan against him while they do not have children and there is no proof of a pregnancy is crazy to even think about. I hope she get’s help. If he’s the man for you, you don’t need to chase him and file legal action to get him to date you or meet you for lunch, he will just want to be there. He won’t be running away from you, he’ll run with you towards your future. Don’t chase unwilling partners people!

Not quite. Respondent’s counsel is asking for original sonogram (the only one that’s been provided was admittedly doctored) , picture of expelled fetuses, and name/records of telehealth doctor. The Plaintiff’s counsel has posted an HCG test as their sole “medical record” of pregnancy
@@lianne_5165an hCG test with a result that in no was aligns with her story. She seems to think an hCG test is a positive or negative thing, but the numerical value is used to help determine the stage and health of a pregnancy in the early stages.
She's a rogue client. 😅 Not sure if that's actually a term, but she CANNOT stay off social media for her life, which tells me that she's doing all of this for attention and sympathy.

Yeah, David isn’t very good at reading his clients record. He waited at least 3 weeks before getting around to the filings and then just ignored everything.
Very clear when you listen to what the judge says, considering Clayton's medical records are not at issue here!
I went back and watched and NAL but I'm honestly not clear on her wording if she meant that one side couldn't disclose records from the other side or neither side could disclose. She starts out saying something that made it seem like one side couldn't release the other sides medical records, but then she literally says but that goes both ways, so like I said, I'm not clear what that means exactly. However, having droned on about that, if i was a professional involved in the case, I would not be putting stuff out there just based on how much BS is going on (altho caused by Owens) and also, I'm the type to err on the side of caution. If I am not sure of the instruction, I will definitely go w the most conservative option to be safe.

The OG on this case, though, is @Dave Neal, a podcaster (re: Bachelor and other entertainment news) and standup comedian (with a degree in journalism, if I’m not mistaken.) Dave was there from the very first filing, and was the one corresponding with “Chase J. Jones,” the (I believe) fictional Howard student. Laura actually tried to get a protective order against Dave (who lives near EDB; Laura is in Phoenix.) She then sued him, then settled for the “concession” that Dave wouldn’t physically harm her or encourage others to do so. Given that Dave has ALWAYS been respectful of Jane and actively discourages others from contacting her in any way, it wasn’t much of a concession.

Great message here. Dave has a business degree, not a journalism one but he is in the journalism community/ registrar (I forget what it's called). The man is a great guy and doesn't deserve the BS from this lunatic woman. I've been following him since 6,000 subscribers so it's nice to see him being successful but sad to see him going through this for doing the right thing.

This is: Tell me you don’t understand the US Court system without telling me you don’t understand the US Court system.
FEDERAL cases (where the Federal Government and/or Federal law is involved) go to Federal Court.
High Profile State Law cases may eventually go to the Federal Circuit Appellate Courts and possibly to the Supreme Court, but do not START in Federal Court.
So glad you’re doing this. You’re more serious approach will educate us and help us understand what the heck is going on here and what might be helpful in the solution

Holy Shit! This is happening in my "back yard" (Phoenix, AZ). Some thoughts.
1. If the plaintiff provides at least a name of the clinics and ballpark dates, the defense can subpoena the clinic for the records. While HIPAA does restrict who can access the medical records, a court order is enough to open them up. Since this case is dealing with paternity and a miscarriage, I don't see why the court wouldn't issue a tightly defined subpoena for said records.
2. If the plaintiff doesn't have the records herself, HIPAA SAYS SHE CAN ASK THE COMPANY SHE SOUGHT CARE FROM FOR A COPY OF HER MEDICAL RECORDS. HIPAA does allow for a reasonable amount of time to compile and print those records, but we're talking days. For instance, reasonable in my employer's case is 30 days with one 30-day extension if the request can't be filled in the first 30 days. Likewise, while the clinic will have a procedure for requesting one's own medical records (as my employer does), HIPAA does allow for the patient to walk in and verbally ask for them.
3. The plaintiff can authorize her council to request those records on her behalf. This is also allowed under HIPAA. All she would need to do is fill out or sign some statement attesting that she's allowing this.
There is no excuse for the plaintiff or her council not fulfilling this request in Arizona.
ALSO, I WILL NOT BE CHECKING MY COMPANY'S RECORDS TO SEE IF MS. OWENS EVER VISITED ONE OF MY EMPLOYER'S FACILITIES. PERIOD. DON'T ASK. First off, I don't have access to PHI or any form of medical records. Two, if I did, I would be fired. And I love eating too much to do something blatantly stupid and clearing a violation as outlined in 20+ years of HIPAA classes I'm continually subjected to.
The defense did request her records. For months she stalled. She reluctantly finally gave a list of 8 providers after the judge made her sign the HIPAA form that she had previously refused. Of eight, seven had no records of her as a patient. One was an emergency room visit for a urine test. Positive for HCG. (Speculation is that she took the HCG to trigger the positive urine sample.) No sonograms, no OB/GYN visits, at all. She claimed she flew to California to get a sonogram at Planned Parenthood, but did so anonymously, so there is no record.
Planned Parenthood has responded that they do not do anonymous visits.
QUESTION: Who pays for lunch? The one filing the motion, the one receiving the motion, or do they go Dutch?
That's upto the court, but if you're asking I think you should be paying for the date.

Sadly, it would have to be one of the most expensive and time-consuming lunches out there, as I would have to earn a law degree, emigrate to Canada, and get accepted to what Alberta's counterpart to a State bar. This is her 4th (known of) time doing this . She escalated it this time including taking to court using journalist Dave Neal for just reporting on the case and arguing on Reddit about it
What started all of this was faking a pregnancy to get into a relationship with Clayton.

Ok. Upon doing a minuscule look into this case, I'm of the opinion that she might very well have some mental issues.
Combination of trying to force these men to keep engaging with her and also punishing them (for refusing to be in a relationship with her). There is so much crazy in this case that Runkle didn't (& couldn't) cover it all, but just one telling aspect: she created a dating contract for her "If you date me with intention, I will abort the pregnancy; if not, I am having the twins" coercion.
She has pulled this multiple times. Always ends in "miscarriage" or "(he forced me to have an) abortion". She sued the last one for abortion coercion, after he accepted her "date me and I'll abort my pregnancy" deal but then left/blocked her after she said she'd taken the pills.
Wow. I think the slimiest part of what Gingras did was extorting / threatening Gregg and Isabel, especially the latter's career. That's… probably not an ethics violation, but that sort of stuff instantly earns a place on my "below average human" list. Somewhat ironically for Gingras anyway.

Her parents aren't liable in terms of treatment since she's an adult but I think they should definitely held accountable for helping her in her fraud.

However whilst it's a kind of grey area they are absolutely responsible for feeding into and exacerbating her behaviour since she was young. If I were the attorney......In light of the demand of my compulsory company to the opposing council, I would make a motion that any meeting not include silverware or anything else that looks especially stabby be made available to the author of the motion until I'm allowed to slowly walk backwards from the location of the "meeting". I wouldn't even allow a pen. No glasses either (Godfather 3).
If I were compelled to go, I'd wear a vest. Perhaps more.

I am reminded of some of the women I have dealt with that are so crazy that they cannot see how sick they are. I am not saying that men cannot be crazy, but rather that some women have affected me more.
A man with the same underlying mental state will often have expression of his problems funneled in a different direction by social expectations.
