I have this feeling that he wasn’t planing to flee Romania but that he was just trying to create urgency for adin to go stream with him because he needs the views/money and adin has a massive following on the alternative channels. Which if that was the case it makes it even funnier.

Regarding the point made at 31:36: I personally coach and counsel men in finding their own particular type of masculinity, their values and how to approach things like dating, career etc. in an open-minded, flexible and modern way. I dislike Tate and his toxic influence immensly, as do many others working in the same field around me. But we are licensed professionals with a nuanced and inclusive, non-judgmental approach to the world - as such very much less likley to attract the "cultist following" you generate on social media with soundbites that are missleading but aimed at triggering simple basic emotions.
Meaning, the opposition is there, but by it's very nature not as rowdy and loud as the culprit. Same as a competent politican trying to provide complex solutions to complex problems are less likely to get their point across in a five-second TV clip, whereas the populist opposition will just claim some radical "do X" and be heard. A true problem of modern media and attention economy.

I just hope that, whatever the result, it is clear cut; that the final verdict isn't reliant on vague proofs, assumptions, or technicalities.
There is so much conflicting information out there right now, and too many emotional reactions, that there cannot be a perception of impropriety, backroom deals, or anything else that could throw shade over the final decisions.

The Romanian human trafficking case has solid evidence. It is hard to debunk bank statements.
Or trying to explain that governments started forging those statements already 8 years ago just in case tha Andrew will become one day famous.
Andrew told in court that some girls were paid 20% or even less ("They worked practically for free.") when 50% had been promised. In the light of precedents, that alone, with bank statements confirming the same, can get him convicted. Criminal Code Art 210 defines 32 variants of human trafficking. Recruitment with deceit is one of them.
(Court of Appeals, file number 37100/3/2022)
Furthermore, on April 21, 2020, Andrew posted a video: "I have 8 girls. This month they produced $511,000. I give them a couple thousands each. Rest is mine."
Not exactly a 50/50 split, is it?
Andrew has declared no legal income. Yet he deposited $10 millions, out of which $5 millions with reference "rev OnlyFans". Hence the second, still ongoing, investigation of money laundry etc.
Andrew is facing upto 19 years for the current charges, and more will likely be added.

31:00 - I understand how hard it is to have pro-feminine and pro-LGBTQ voices online. Sadly, this isn't something new nor is it limited to online spaces either. In part of her album "Nothing in My Closet But My Clothes", Suzanne Westenhoefer commented on people who would do nothing but wait for people like Suzanne to go on radio programs to promote their shows to call in and harass them. And these were supposedly "upstanding Christian Folk". Howard Stern would also comment that while the average listener would listen to his show an hour or two, it were haters like this that would spend all day listening to the show to come up with things to complain about.

I enjoy the interviews that you do Ian. Always a learning thing.
I am neither pro or anti Tate. In fact I have rarely seen much from him because the stuff I have seen haven't been that thrilling. On the question of his support, could it be like the Amber Heard thing? Where right now it's allegations, and perhaps people are not quick to just believe the accusers.
As a woman, I don't automatically support other women just because they make a claim. As an SA survivor, I understand how hard and frustrating the process can be but I still cannot promote the "believe all women" thing. There are women that are just as vile as men. I just wonder if maybe people are holding their breaths to see what comes out in the court cases?
As for the online hate and the people that go beyond just stating that they side with Side A or Side B and why, there are always extremists. It is not just on the online world. And I really hope that each country has laws that address harassment or threats of any nature. I would just be cautious on deeming it only online though with governments trying to silence many on the internet or create laws that open up doorways to control, and social credits in democracies.
I appreciate the discussion very much as this was a case I did not have a lot of thoughts or insight into. 👍

@@pyratellamarecordingstudio1062I am not defending anyone. If you read what I actually said its that I do not have an interest in this particular guy so I haven't followed him or his cases. Meaning I have 0 information that makes me draw any conclusions about the man himself.
In fact through the interview I learned a little bit, which is what I acknowledged.
Now as for defending anyone, I didn't. I pointed out that women can be just as vile as men with lies. Which creates an atmosphere of hopefully people not jumping to bash a guy before the court case has even happened. Innocent until proven guilty in the eyes of the law. And so far no courts have concluded anything from the sounds of it in this interview.
I have never supported abuse, and its not supporting abuse to acknowledge there have been a lot of false accusations that have happened lately. Amber Heard is the most famous case, but there are other men that have been targeted and lost everything BEFORE the courts have concluded their innocence.
So forgive me if I am not quick to condemn people or cancel them based on the word of people without the actual proof or court cases concluding. You know court, where they have facts, not feelings..
