To be fair it's a decent little loop as you say with lots of surfaces. My favourite surface is still the tarmac 🤣🤣 Be a different route when the mud gets to it all 🙈
Yeh it's a pretty decent route but we just don't have to many options with trails to ride on around where I live so we end up riding the same ones all the time 🙈
Hi Stu, that looked like a cracking ride, I love riding off road and I think mixing up your training between running, cycling, swimming and gym is the way to go, especially for tri. I wonder if I could keep up on my mtb, nice lunch stop too at Hatton Locks😊
I had to rewatch this video to see what it was about 🤣🤣 You would definitely keep up with me. It's great fun to have a go at off road riding. I'm still loving it, but I don't love having to always clean my bike 🙈
@@SwimBikeRunStu Next year, maybe I could join you, that ride looked so good✅ You know I like to watch videos all the way through for people I follow but it’s tough keeping up😊
Bish Bosh like the look of the Nosh 😅 Mmm tastes even better mid-ride. Verdict: yes I reckon the cross racing will help your Ironman prep. Enjoy and stay safe.
@@SwimBikeRunStu thank you, hope it was interesting?! Be good to see some videos of your races. Actually it was you who inspired me to share it in Reddit so thank you so much for that. I have been very shy to share as I think my videos are junk. But I'm glad I took the plunge!
One of the main reasons that cycling is better than running. The option to have a coffee stop in the middle of the session 👌 What's not to love about that 👊
Yeh it wasn't bad. Cold but sunny and being led by a top bloke. Hopefully il improve at my riding, but that's a working progress. Hope your going well 👊
That's a shame, I'm very lucky that we have a cross race most weekends from now until spring. Lots of muddy adventures to come. I have found a cross race that I may do when I'm in iowa on October so that should be fun to try. Maybe you just need to come and race in the UK 👌
Looked like a good route with a mix of surfaces and a sunny day.. perfect 😎👌

This trail looked beautiful 😍

That route looked fun 🔥
It's not as nice as the gower 😜

Is that a phrase you use alot then 🤔 New one to me. 🤣 yeh let's hope it gets me onto spring with some fitness 👌
Great to see you back on the cross bike 💪
Thank you. Weirdly I was watching your latest video on reddit this morning at work 👌

That looks fun as hell biking through all that, but my reaction time is so poor, I'd crash within seconds.
Yeh it's good fun. I've got alot to learn but getting better everytime I try it. Hoping to be race fit for a cross race in iowa in a few weeks 🤞
Big fan of the mid session carb load!

@@SwimBikeRunStu a valid point. Its the saddle sore and having my moose knuckle out in public that concerns me 🤣 oh, and not owning a bike
Looked like a nice route mate good luck with training

@@SwimBikeRunStu all good thanks, just like your mate said stop being too hard on yourself, you are flying
Cross has always been something be wanted to get it to, but it just doesn’t exist where I live.

Unless you are doing junk miles (which those certainly won't) then all riding is good riding and the mix of riding will definitely do you good.
Yeh I think so. Definitely better now at not just doing junk miles. I've got lots to work on but I'm enjoying the process 👌
Nobody wants a wasp stuck in their helmet! 😂
Ain't that the truth 🤣🤣
