I swore blind that I wouldn’t spend more than an hour and a half on Zwift…was all going well until last Sunday, my peak week, and it was lashing it down outside. Was forced to do 5 hours on it 😫 did the Mega Pretzel and my arse was in tatters 😢
🤣🤣 Love that. The thought of race day looming is always a motivator that's for sure. 2 hours is about my limit. I don't know how you have the mental power to stay on that long 🙈 But I'm sure it will pay of on race day 💪👊
@Fit_by_50 I use a chromebook. Completely the wrong thing to use for video editing. I make it work but it's not the best really. Hopefully upgrading to a mac book in the new year 👌
Nice week of training Stu! I know how you feel, between working, training, filming, and editing, it takes a lot of time to put these videos up lol. Keep up the good work!
Yeh I'm not sure most people realise how long it takes us to make these videos. Why do we do it to ourselves?! 🤣🤣 The training I find much easier than the video editing 🤣🤣 Hope your doing well...
Like the sound of your weekly uploads👍🏻. Good job, any consistent training is beneficial over winter, plenty of time before you need to start ramping it up 😄 💪🏻
@@SwimBikeRunStuhopefully doing Bolton 70.3 to get a taste of the IM brand. Maybe another half distance later in the summer. Still planning to volunteer at Leeds IM.
Good to see the structure of your training week, like all of us amateurs life sometimes gets in the way. Might steel this idea for a video of my training week!
YES stacie, You will love it. Just do the opposite of what I do an you will be fine 🤣🤣 My next video is going to be Jenna at a super sprint triathlon. I think you both should give one a go 😜
@@SwimBikeRunStu Hahaha why would we do the opposite of you?? You do great. And I just saw that, we will watch it together tonight. Our evening ritual is to watch our fav youtubers together before bed (that includes your channel). And I am sure Jenna did amazing!
Good to start the build to main goal! I’m doing reverse periodisation for my March 25 goal. So Zwift is quite intense at the moment 🥵. But Ironman is very different. Look forward to your journey✊
Good start to IM Leeds training Stu. As for Zwift, I can’t believe I did it so much last winter. I’m finding it hard going back to it after all the outdoor riding. Also feeling a bit tired still…wonder why? 😂
Yeh I wonder why 🤔🤣🤣 Motivation takes a kicking after a big event. You've earnt the right to relax and recover. I certainly won't be spending as much time on zwift as you 🤣🤣
To be fair if i had got the puncture elsewhere I would have just fixed it. But being so close to home I was being lazy 🤣🤣 I still haven't sorted it 🤣😅🤣
I used to hate more than 2 hours on the trainer but did a 5 hour last week and 4 the following because I had bad luck with all those punctures. I just watch TV and UA-cam 😅
I just couldn't imagine doing 5 hours. 🙈 I would be going insane. I respect you for doing that. Mentally you must be super strong. I'm not 🤣🤣🤣 I don't watch 5 hours a week of tv all week, let alone in one session 🤣
Be interested to know how you will 'block' your training in terms of focus and duration of improving the 3 disciplines. I firmly believe in the 'if you've only got 1 arse, don't try to ride 2 horses' with my training but this is probably a bit abstract as a triathlete 🤣 I'm already nervous about fitting in marathon training whereas for you lunatics the marathon is the cherry on top.
Il do about 70% bike. Leeds is going to be hilly and tough so it where I need to work hard. Il spend about 20% running. Bit of slow mileage, trying to stay injury free. And I will do about 10% then on swim. My swimming is alright so don't need to work to hard on that 👌

Hi what laptop do you use to edit your videos as I am looking to buy a new one

Starting out strong for 2025 Stu. Great that Jenna has a Tri goal too.
Yeh let's hope I start 2025 strong. Got to try and be consistent through the winter months. Easier said than done. Hope your doing well 👌

Yeh it seems far away but it will soon be here. Do you have plans for next year ?

Go for it it. Although I kept forgetting to recored anything. Daily vlogging I found hard to do 🙈 Just need to start running again 👌
This is really cool to see. Stacie is considering a triathlon next year, so seeing the method to the training is helpful.

Yeh you need to hit spring hard. I just want to get there with a bit if base fitness. A long winter ahead. You got this 👊

I nearly fell over when you showed me on the telly 😅 Good start to the consistent training mate 👍 👌
I gotta keep up with the content 🤔 Watching UA-cam while making UA-cam 👌 Keep the videos coming 👍
"Lucky" the puncture didn't happen too far away from home! A solid first week of training, congrats!

Good stuff Stu. Any 140.6’s booked mate?
Leeds, Leeds, Leeds 😜
Oh, and I’m still struggling to get into swimming regularly. I’ve not been swimming since 22nd September…😂
I enjoy swimming. It's just a faff to get out the house. If I had a pool at home I'd swim every day 😍
