I don't think you'll ever truly realise the impact this series of videos has had on me and so many others! You should be incredibly proud of this achievement, especially after everything you went through with your knee and the issues on race day. Thank you for sharing this journey, I really hope it isn't the end of the channel. Congrats!
Amazing mate. Be proud of yourself. You’re an Ironman. And you’re a gentleman, I ran past you and you were nice enough to give me a compliment that I was running well, and then realised it was you!
Well done mate, such an achievement. I travelled alone from Europe to race this, such an awesome day but was extremely tough without any friends or family with me.
Incredible mate! Its been great to follow along and spend some time together up at port Mac. You should be so proud of yourself, for the race and for the huge lead up, so much work and you’ve come so far! A massive achievement (especially with all the adversity) and the first step of a massive journey. I’m looking forward to whatever you do next and hope to be able to support every step of the way! Proud of you mate, great job!
I'm so proud of you! Thank you for taking me on this journey with you. I will be making a donation to T2KO because of you. Just a side note, when I saw your interview with Average Rob, I thought he was an Ironman pro! Then I started following him to realize he's also a newbie of all things athletic -- except for swimming!
I've got my popcorn and tissues ready ❤so excited to see all your hard work pay off! And before I even watch the video (premieres in 1H), let me just say, congratulations on your amazing achievement, no matter the result!
I have watched your journey from here in the US from the beginning. It has been an absolutely privilege to be able to share a small part of your journey online. Thank you for the courage to share your experiences and the message of T2KO.
Congratulations! What an accomplishment! It has been a joy watching you go through your training and having such a positive attitude. I know the end wasn’t what you wanted it to be but 1) you’re recovering from injury, 2) you had electrolyte issues, and 3) this was your first race! You went from doing no cardio in 5 years to becoming an Ironman! Wow! You deserve some grace. Be gentle and kind to yourself. Keep up the positivity! We’ll be here.
COULDNT BE PROUDER OF YOU BROTHER! Thanks for taking us on this journey with you and spreading awareness not only for T2KO but highlighting the importance of mental fitness and a supportive inner circle. Cant wait to see whats next x
Huge congrats man! You did it! Been here since day 1, happy for you and at the same time sad that the weekly videos are over now.. Hopefully, you'll continue making videos!
I'm not crying, you're crying 🥲. Well done Brody, so glad I stumbled across this channel - what you're disappointed at now will be something you speak of with pride in the years to come!
Thank you for sharing a genuinely transparent experience! Most people say bike is the easy part but that's the part which requires the most planning for fueling after a swim and for the run. It is great to see someone enjoying transitions and the moments with their loved ones rather than conforming to the clock. I've been nervous about my first 70.3 in 4 weeks but this video has been very comforting :)
Yessss braaa!!! What a day you had, battling through it all will only make the next one easier. You did so well, loved seeing you on course!! Congrats again, you are an Ironman forever
Brody!! This was absolutely amazing. I loved following along on this inspiring journey. Just finished my first ever Ironman 70.3 last week, and can't wait to join you and the 1 percenters. Great work!!
So stoked for you dude. Sounds like a tough day with the setbacks but you did so well to stay resilient and get over that finish line - You should be proud! This gets me pumped up for getting over the line myself in 6 weeks time 🙌
Just found this channel, great work and I might watch the previous episodes. I have my first Ironman in 1 week in Hamburg. I needed to change my life a bit to make I can finish it (nearly no alcohol in the past eight month, a lot of training, especially the last 3 months), but now I am very confident I can finish. If everything works out perfectly 13:30 might be possible, but a realistic time is probably around 14:30. So your 13:13 is absolutely amazing!
Very inspiring Brodie. I stumbled upon your channel just after I signed up for my first Ironman at Cairns this year. I’ve been watching you since and it feels like we have been sharing the journey together even though we’ve never met 😂 keep up the good stuff mate!
Loved it! Congrats on your epic achievement! Maybe it wasn’t 100% what you wanted but you are still an inspiration! Thank you for documenting your journey and I’m looking fw to your next!
Amazing Work Brody! Was such an enjoyment to follow your journey, couldn't wait for this ep also since your first ep dropped. You have definitely contributed to my training for triathlons more than you'll ever know mate.
Proud & inspired! ❤ Congrats bro, thought about your journey during my long ride at Lanzarote this morning. Crazy head wind on a though climb. You’re an inspiration Brody, thanks 🙌🏽
Amazing stuff man!! Genuinely so proud and amazed! Keep killing it and especially after achieving this anything is possible with the right attitude and mindset
Been following you since the start of your process, as I was starting to train for a sprint triathlon (smaller challenge though hahaha). This feeling of disappointment you are talking about... I felt the same after my first triathlon last Saturday. The congratulation messages also feel off, as we ourselves might believe that we did not do as we expected. However, I believe this feeling comes from all the uncertainty surrounding doing a first triathlon. After all, most triathletes come from different backgrounds that we might know too well and starting from scratch is the real challenge, mainly mental. And I agree with you: this sport is the most brutal thing you've probably done. Anyways, a few days after the race is great to see you reflect and be able to see your race full of lessons rather than mistakes. Congratulations for the whole process of becoming an Ironman 🎉
Brody you are such a cool and likeable guy! Really huge congrats from Germany on the ironman! I've been following your whole series and have been waiting for the last video! You really are an inspiration! Hopefully this wasn't the last video from you! Thanks for your great videos! 🤙🏽💪🏼👍
Elite! Congrats Brody, fighting through that pain and completing is amazing! You’ve been a huge inspiration over the past many weeks, I know I’ll come back to this video many times when I need a reminder of what we all can do when we put our minds to it. Fantastic achievement! Did we say Ironman Copenhagen 2025? 😂
Hey Brody, awesome stuff to finish that off, cramping is not always due to salt and in most cases is more due to neural fatigue and tension, have loved watching your content :)
100% agreed!! In nearly all/most cases it is 100% neural fatigue and tension. We did a post analysis of my race to determine what went wrong and found that it was over hydration in low degree conditions in addition to / 'hypernatremia' caused by excessive sodium intake! Pretty gnarly, I had never heard of this before haha Thank you for watching!
Wow. Considering everything you went through, yiur time was not even that much over the male average I think. Imagine what you could do with not much going wrong! A testament to how disciplined your training was. Congratulations Brody.
Congratulations Brody, what an achievement. Thank you for documenting your journey. Now that you have a substantial endurance base, are you tempted to scale the training back to 12-14 hours for life balance and build up for another to better execute a race plan on the day? To Shawn, love your work.
Congratulations 🎉 You honestly helped me a lot, and i plan on doing my first ironman next year (only next year cuz im broke xd) . Anyways, i hope you can recover fast with your knee, and best of luck with any future events/challenges!
We all were waiting for that episode since your very first video on that channel. Well done Mate !
Thanks so much!!
I don't think you'll ever truly realise the impact this series of videos has had on me and so many others! You should be incredibly proud of this achievement, especially after everything you went through with your knee and the issues on race day. Thanks Noah!! I'm glad the videos have helped :)) hope you are doing well!
Amazing mate. Be proud of yourself. You’re an Ironman. And you’re a gentleman, I ran past you and you were nice enough to give me a compliment that I was running well, and then realised it was you!
Hope your day went well mate!!
“Dad of two guinea pigs” may be my favorite part of this video lol
hahaha I told Shawn I was putting it in!
Been waiting on this video. I have my first half ironman coming up in 9 days and super excited !
Let's go mate! Enjoy the day and have fun!
Well done mate, such an achievement. I travelled alone from Europe to race this, such an awesome day but was extremely tough without any friends or family with me.
Would have been mate, good job on getting it done!
Incredible mate! Its been great to follow along and spend some time together up at port Mac. Much love mate! Thanks for all your help!! Keen to see what we get up to throughout the year!

Thank you and thanks for donating!! Rob is the best!!
Sometimes things doesn’t play out the way you wanted. But look at you! You’re an Ironman! Bless!
Thank you mate!
