That’s the Quntis monitor light bar. I have a video on that as well. I didn’t really pick up a glare at all because the screen was more of a matte finish. I did a couple follow up videos discussing the issues that I experienced the the screen lifting up and then having a very poor customer service experience with Samsung. Ideally. I would prefer one for the 32 or 34 inch LG thunderbolt monitors. But i just can’t justify spending like $1200-1400 for the monitor really for the thunderbolt 3 ability compared to usb-c. But, in my mind it also doesn’t really make sense to get a usb-c monitor when you have the ability to get the speeds with a thunderbolt connection. Originally, I planned on at least getting the Caldigit TS4 docking when it came out but it was always on back order and at least the last reviews said it was being finicky for its connection. This would avoid relying on the thunderbolt monitor as a docking station in case the monitor has issues again. But long story short. I purchased all the accessories to use with the Samsung, had to return it, can’t reset use any of them except for the mouse and keyboard. And currently have yet to get a new thunderbolt monitor because it’s too expensive.

It is more of a flat matte on the screen rather than glossy. The remainder of the screen is a shiny white finish. At this point, I do not really recommend the CJ791 anymore. I had to send it back for quality issues and had a terrible customer experience. Ultimately, tried repurchasing it when it was 'back in stock' and it never shipped after 3 weeks despite 3 emplloyees telling me it was in stock. @@ninobless5879 Based on my research, I think the best one overall is the LG 34WL850. It’s very similar for features. Connects by thunderbolt 3 with multiple ports on the back. Has very solid reviews. Issue is it’s nearly double the price usually around $1200-1400. Which is just too high for my budget. LG offers other models that are 32 inch and 38 inch with same features. They also have non thunderbolt 3 models that are USB C that are much much cheaper for similar quality imaging. The USB C is a slower transfer rate than thunderbolt 3 though. So it’s hard to justify not getting the thunderbolt 3 connection when it’s 4 times the transfer rate. I am hoping that thunderbolt 3 will be incorporated more but it just hasn’t for some reason. So not really sure when or what I will get. Hope that helps. Andrew

if you want clear quality go for 5k2k or dont use a wide monitor, I returned 3 so far and will end up buying a 5k2k not worth if you want retina like dispay dont waste the time
@@nicojaa7035 what do you mean by 5k2k? when i returned the monitor the sales told me i need a 4k monitor for macbook
@@nicojaa7035 Only issue is the 5K displays costs more in general. I played with the idea of getting their 5k 34 inch was comparable price but it wasn’t curved and I noticed that the curved monitor does seem to help once you get to that wide a monitor.
@@LittleFish911 it’s just 5K instead of 4K for resolution. It’s the next level up from the one I got.
Does it have glossy finish panel?
It is more of a flat matte on the screen rather than glossy. The remainder of the screen is a shiny white finish. At this point, I do not really recommend the CJ791 anymore. I had to send it back for quality issues and had a terrible customer experience. Ultimately, tried repurchasing it when it was 'back in stock' and it never shipped after 3 weeks despite 3 emplloyees telling me it was in stock. Then, one of their employees told me it was not in stock the entire time. So, I really do not recommend Samsung anymore from that experience.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

@@AndrewRockUA-cam Which monitor would you recommend over this one?
