Linda, thanks again for having me at your studio, I had so much fun doing this interview!
Social Confidence Mastery thanks for sharing your thoughtful insights! :) 🙌
@@LindaRaynier, it was my pleasure! I hope your audience finds it valuable!
Writing a list ( Journal )
Is a good one, i go for it. Leaders are always analysing their behavior day to day.
I found dressing well, but authentic to your personality interesting.
Thinking of signing up for his class just to learn that. Lol...
But to answer your question: Story Telling. Now I think I already implement it as in Set up/Content/Resolution. Except it doesn't feel effortless or smooth. And does feel unorganized and scattered with missing info after I reflect on it.
So, want to try writing it out and editing to include the important info without being too detailed and unnecessarily long.
Also, I was just reminded, making a list of what I like about myself and even asking my friends what they like about me.
Alright then, thanks for making this video. Very enlightening.
Love the way Myke was able to take what he learned from his own struggles and help others who were going through the same things. Very inspiring story!
Glad you got value from it!

@@thatgirl_Devi I'd be delighted to come back! :)
Awesome!
I applied rehearsal technique before social events. Oh my God! I was so confident.
Before that, I would hide and sit quietly in a corner but, after practicing the arc story method and relevant questions, I'm like "Yes". Now I'm OK with people interacting with me. I still haven't made any friends yet. But, I do have wonderful conversations with people in social events. Hopefully, someday I'll make friends too.
That impact me on how i should see my self on a positive way incrementally.
Self-image is very important for sure!
great interview!
Your really strong at your knowledge, great tips
That's great to hear!
Thank you so much.♥️♥️♥️

Mike Macapinlac is my new Idol. Filipino Enggineers, thumbs up to you guys.
Thank you Linda for this incredible material. Its so useful to approach people who we works, live and spend time with. I can't wait to start using these tips
Good to hear! Which tip did you implement so far?
Uplifting to watch your video with Myke, Linda! I think I want to implement the knowledge gap that you guys are talking about by simply being expose to social communities like pinterest and try to work on conversation skills. :)
Good to hear! How are things so far?
Thanks.. Nice discussion..
Awesome! What's something valuable that you learned?
Thanks for this amazing video Linda. This could be a difficult question but I am really looking for a solution, one of the point is "get a feel for how you want to come across when you interact with other people". Now sometimes I feel like "being funny, sweet and friendly" helps but sometimes I feel I do not get importance due to that even though I am not overdoing it. On the other side, if I am a little bit serious and playing hard that works in some situation but then I messed up when people think that I am not friendly so I actually forgot how should I behave and what is my true self. Help!!
I agree with the dress code subject some of us don't know how to dress and everyone knows attire has no voice but speaks volumes. A good fit boost confidence
I like how he speak, really clear. 🎉, i learned new english words 😊
love you two, thanks a lot

You're so welcome!
Thank you Linda... finally one topic that is affecting many qualified candidates.... it's very helpful especially to me,I remember doing public speaking and I ended up fainting due to My shy and no confidence personality.... thank you this honestly is the best 😘
Did you say you fainted while giving a speech? What happened?
Well I had gone through a tough upbringing and I was supposed to give a motivational speech to a crowd of 600 people...on how I pulled through ,i saw this as an opportunity to give people ideas on how to overcome stress and strain of family situation. Then when I was up on stage every one was watching me and clapping....and I got tense I tried to smile but all I remember is that the air became limited..next thing am in a first aid room... Am hoping I'll grow out of stage fright
@@SocialConfidenceMastery that's how😓
@@madonnaessie6844 thank you for sharing that wow, that's quite the situation!
@@SocialConfidenceMastery happy to share My weakness as it helps in solving and improving my situation
Tyvm ♥ I'm a very shy person and this helped me so much
I used to be shy too! What's your biggest struggle socially?
Social Confidence Mastery
I think that I can't speak loudly in public and that annoys me
@@rewana4791 I feel ya! What are you doing to solve that issue?
Very nice video content very nice info
Bruno mars thanks a lot 😋
Seriously thanks to both of u. God bless😊
Haha that's funny!
Right!! 😁
Interesting that book is good for me I am a very shy type person..
Which book did you have in mind? If you tell me your biggest struggle socially, I can point you in the right direction!
Must be the Virgo in me, that’s shy but the Leo in me is outgoing. Thank you for this video, to help curb my social anxiety. 🥴
Furthermore, I was working at this temp job; now I’m ambidextrous in being intro and extroverted. However, you will not yell at me, to introduce yourself to me: I will ignore you until you become human and introduce yourself to me the correct way. (I surmise this is probably a reason why I got let go 🤷🏾♀️ ) I don’t have a problem in being cordial friendly but disrespect I don’t tolerate. Again, thank you.
I'm glad you found our interview helpful!
That was extremely useful. Thank you!
I'm so glad to hear that! What was your number one takeaway?
Myke Rules!!
Good to see you here!
thank you so much for your video, it is very helpful to me. I am a shy girl, always feel nervous to talk to people.
That's great to hear!
Thank you dea
Hi Linda, I am very approachable person and easy to get along with other people but when the time for interview, I feel that everything shut down and my confidence went away. I am very frustrated when that happened. What should I do?
I think that it's an interesting topic.
I appreciate you watching the interview! What was your number one takeaway?
Thanks for this video. I am also a shy Filipino...
Thanks for checking out the video, I can relate to you for sure!
Hi Linda I was a manager at a nightclub for 16 years.. I went to school got my MBA did my internship and now I am insecure cuz I just turned 40 starting a new career all together! What is your advice for starting a second career and what to say on the interview especially at a late age?
So kinda off topic. Myke is 😍 Great information though gonna watch again and take notes because I'm watching at work
Thank you for the kind words! I'd love to hear what you took away from the interview!
@@SocialConfidenceMastery One of my favorite points from this interview is that in order to have healthy work relationships you must be empathetic and try to put yourself in the other persons shoes. This can be difficult for me because I am more introverted however I see how important it is because I don't want to come off as rude or disinterested in any social setting. I also like the tip to write down the things I like about myself because it is a great way to strengthen one's self image. Great info!
@@samanthaa8030 I'm so glad you found it useful! Looking for things you like about yourself is definitely a great way to increase your confidence!
Philippines, represent 😍😍
You know it!
Hi linda, whenever i say something in front of some one, i feel fightened...plz suggest how to overcome it
Can you please tell me if i have employment gap of more then 2 years because of marriage and relocation should i mention it in my CV or in cover letter? Please reply
Very nice
Thanks for checking out our interview!
Wow! His story is a story I can relate to
Are you an immigrant as well?
@@SocialConfidenceMastery I'm not, but I work a boring job and suffer from social anxiety (more with women), and this started when I was younger. I've actually never been in a relationship, and I'm 28. Was never invited to parties. I dealt with rejection and still do for much of my life. I never had that mentor to stick with me and tell me what to do and not to do to stay positive and grow from my experiences. For the most part, it's been a one-man journey.
@@positive_vibes_2427 Let me know how I can help!
@@SocialConfidenceMastery Your help would be appreciated. I don't have the confidence to approach women and progress
@@SocialConfidenceMastery I'm by myself for much of the day. It'd be nice to have support to encourage me to do better
This is a problem that I'm facing right now but I know how to cure it , it kinda your are taking things in my mind when I'm in a meeting I talk really fast .
That's usually a sign that you're nervous.
Hello Linda...Thanks for video..
I saw your video about multi job offer.
I faced a situation like...i have two offer right now...
First company is paying me more for example.. first is offering me 10$ ..then second is offering me 7$ ....first company has weekend off...2 days.sat -sunday.but second company only Sunday off.
First company is looking me more fascinating..MNC like culture...but second is not like dat..
I Am taking time to decide..what to do..what not to do...confused..
Can you please give me some tips?... How should I take right decision..?
Please reply me..
What books did he read to become more confident?
I love the lesson l one of shy person
SAR format using sensory words!
you guys make a good couple
His story is unexpectedly relatable...
Hello, I am also shy cause I am not good at speaking English I am afraid that my grammar will be pointed out. I feel ashamed, I am really mad at myself because I cannot get myself a job because I don't know how to verbally express myself. Please talk to me I am having existential crisis atm because I have anxiety and I feel the pressure from my surroundings.
The Pinterest tip was very helpful, and something I am going to implement right away! I have been trying to put together a vision board since sometime now, but hadn’t known how to go about it. Loved the interview, there were many more takeaways, and it is surely going to help me out. Thanks Linda!
Thanks for making time to watch our interview!
Thank you Myke!
@@snehamaselkar459 You're very welcome!

*Is there funking awtomatecly subtitles in this video?*
How do you strike a balance between being confident and being pompous and a show-off.
I feel like being called a show-off or being told you like yourself too much kinda makes one lose even more confident.
Wow my fellow Filipino
You know it!
Great video! I'm sure if I had more confidence I'd have had a job offer after my 30+ interviews in the last few months... :-\

Every great speaker practices there delivery and lack of knowledge no matter what situation can cause you to feel low instead of high
