I used this technique today for my walk in interview. Although my nerves were still wacked, I was able to calm down after 5 mins into the interview. I finally saw myself not as an interviewee but as someone who can partner up with them. They offered me the job right on the spot! Thank you so much Linda 💕😊
1:44 How to feel comfortable while you go into the interview 2:30 You have full power and full control over how the interviewer sees you 2:46 If you have that power to be able to tell them how to feel about you, then you’re the one who is really in control 3:08 The way you feel about yourself is the way the interviewer is going to feel about you 3:41 The consultant approach 4:09 You need to show up as someone who is the expert
This video is SO useful!!!! Calmed me down a lot the day before my interview! Watched it AGAIN on the day itself. And I got the job in the end! Key tip is really to know yourself well, prepare, rehearse and trust yourself that you’ve got what it takes!!! All the best to everyone who is looking for a job in this crisis.
I remember watching this video back in 2018 - I’d had a series of unsuccessful interviews and I couldn’t seem to figure out why. After I watched this video, I had two interviews and I received two job offers. I love the whole consultant approach, it really allows you to take attention of yourself and how you may be perceived, and focus on what you actually bring to the table.
This video is incredible, I have a 2nd interview on Monday and I'm going to practice all week. I GOT THIS. I have over 15 years of experience in my field. They're going to love me. THANK YOU so much for your videos.
This video has helped me get a homebased job. I was surprisingly calm during the interview because I kept thinking I am the expert that can fill what the company is lacking. Thank you, Linda, for making the concept easy to understand and apply. You are a blessing. I am forever grateful. ❤️💓❤️
I originally watched this video last year before a transition and got the job... I watched this video again today before my interview to remind myself of my value and I was offered the job! This is an incredibly impactful way of thinking. I forgot myself for a while, but this brought me back to life. Thanks Linda! 🥰
Thank you! Watched a few of your videos the past couple of days and felt so CALM and in control yesterday during an interview. Waiting for an offer, but your tips are priceless. Thanks!
Thank you Linda, your thoughts are very helpful in getting the job. It is all about the mindset that push to speak about your skills, abilities in an interview.
I was nervous before my interview, went in there got asked a classic couple of questions and they accepted me on the spot. I'm over the moon! Thanks for this vid :)
I was so so nervous before my job interview last week, but because of the advice in this video I managed to stay calm!! Usually I get so panicked that my mind goes completely blank, but changing my perspective from feeling like I constantly have to impress the interviewer and like I'm not good enough to instead seeing myself as a contractor helped so much!! It removed some of the pressure, and I was able to give a better representation of myself and my skills. And I assume the interviewer thought so too, cause I got the job!!! ;) ;) ;)
This is AMAZING! I’m feeling more confident with each video that I watch. I just got a call back after applying for positions within my healthcare company for MONTHS. I want to show up doing my best so that even if I don’t get this position I would have grown from the process. Thank you.
I am getting so psyched because I passed the interviews and will soon get an offer! It’s an internal hire so the transition is currently being processed! Thanks for your helpful tips Linda!
THANK YOU LINDA!! Your AMAZING! I took this advice and your vid on How to Sell Yourself In The Interview, plus listened to lots of your other empowering videos and I just landed the job I wanted! Your very inspiring and this was the first time I ever felt in control during the phone and 2nd phase interview process. I also wrote questions and answers to the job description and it made me feel so empowered and greatly at ease because I was in the driver seat, not my anxiety. We all need your genuine, down to earth advice on this very crucial subject! God Bless You!
I am going to try this, I think this is great to think of the person like your teaching them something or interviewing them my nerves just dropped a little bit less.
Linda, I just found you what a blessing you truly are!!! My interview is today, I got what your saying I had many contractors to work on my house this makes total sense to me I going to nail the interview with flying colors. WOW! You are a truly gift! Your tips are OUT OF THE BOX!!! I love it!!!!

I had few interviews with some companies and organizations but was not successful. here I will learn from your videos so that I can prepare myself better.

Linda you are amazing. I’ve been employed by the same company for 20 years and haven’t interviewed in years. I watched some of your videos including this one ☝️. I nailed my interview. The tips you provide are truly helpful. I’m hoping to get a job offer soon. Will keep you posted :)
I had an interview at McDonald's a while ago but kinda already knew I was going to get the job because they hire everyone lol but I have an interview for Sheetz next week and I'm nervous.

Thank you for sharing your technique and insight Linda! This helped me interview much more confidently and be able to see the interview process for what it is - finding the right fit for a role a company NEEDS!
Hi Linda, Thank you very much for your help. However, following my interview yesterday, I wish to add a few more points as stated below: a) the number of the panel members; b) the abilities, attitude and style of the panel members; c) the level of the post; d) the knowledge on both soft management skills and the technical expertise required for the post; and e) other important points which include: good attitude; good mood; good health; summary of notes in bullet points on the answers to expected potential questions; supports and good wishes from our co-workers and staff; and a good personality. Are also important for an interview but even then it is not easy. Thanks again. M Ramanah
Hi... Can anyone share with me what it means to be asked to participate in a departmental interview? Not sure how to prepare for this step of the process.
What if I'm the contractor who is trying to gain experience while working for someone!?? :) Then of course I would be nervous.. Plus job descriptions list so many skill sets needed for the job I'm applying for without fulfilling all of them how can I still feel confident and show them I'm the one who can figure it out even though I don't know that certain skill set?
My question for you is when you have the job you want how do you Ensure that you will maintain that job if you feel like you're not doing well does that mean you're doing well because I noticed a lot of jobs tell you you're doing good but then end up firing you and I love the job I have and want to keep it but I know many people before me have been let go.. I'm a leasing consultant and they've been training me not just for leasing but as a manager and everyone's been telling me I've been good but I don't feel like it
the hardship is interviewees didnt like the job they simply want to pay bills..its hard to be confident and powerful without any meaningful desire for jobs
Hi Linda, I have been watching a lot of your videos and have a question for you. You mentioned that you were not happy when you were working in corporate, does that mean you were not happy working as an accountant?
I used this technique today for my walk in interview. Although my nerves were still wacked, I was able to calm down after 5 mins into the interview. I finally saw myself not as an interviewee but as someone who can partner up with them. They offered me the job right on the spot! Thank you so much Linda 💕😊
Awesome!! Congrats :)
I Have watched your videos, had an interview today & recieved the phone call, they were impressed with me; I got the job🙌🏽
Thank You!
Chizilicious Mama Congratulations 🎊🍾

Hi Linda,
Thank you very much for your help. However, following my interview yesterday, I wish to add a few more points as stated below:
a) the number of the panel members;
b) the abilities, attitude and style of the panel members;
c) the level of the post;
d) the knowledge on both soft management skills and the technical expertise required for the post; and
e) other important points which include: good attitude; good mood; good health; summary of notes in bullet points on the answers to expected potential questions; supports and good wishes from our co-workers and staff; and a good personality.
Are also important for an interview but even then it is not easy.
Thanks again.

Wow, what a helpful video - I love the analogy of being the consultant & comparing myself to a contractor. Thank you!

Are these courses open up internationally
the hardship is interviewees didnt like the job they simply want to pay bills..its hard to be confident and powerful without any meaningful desire for jobs
yeah and the other hard thing is, now that everyone can game the system by watching youtube videos, how do you stand out?
Interviewer the job about us I want to change the discussion conversation as well Rainier
Can you tell me a little about yourself and how did you hear about the position
Hi Linda, I have been watching a lot of your videos and have a question for you. You mentioned that you were not happy when you were working in corporate, does that mean you were not happy working as an accountant?

You are amazing!!!!! Great tips!
