That’s some nice beefy slabs. A bit cracked near the ends, but it’s great to see in your other videos how you make the cracks a feature of your work rather than get rid of the cracked wood. Sometimes the rustic look is just the thing.
love your work. One helpful tip, when turning your logs have your stops angled in so the wood slides down onto the bed instead of getting stuck on the point.
I look forward to seeing you at ur work one day maybe I'll learn something from you . Tell misty if she wants her stuff she needs to get in touch with me soon hopefully of thing goes right.. I'll be see u real soon there buddy... Keep up the good work 💪💯😊😊
Hey man, what kind of chisels do you regularly use in your videos? Also great work on every short and video you make, makes me come up with new ideas for later projects.
Hey Dusty! (I'm gunna guess that thats your name?). How dry is the wood that you work with? The things like telegraph poles - do you by them & dry them, or do you by them already dry? Love ya work!!
Yes, my name is Dusty 👍. When I use reclaimed barnwood or retired telephone poles they're ready to go as they've been drying for 30+ years. Green wood like in this video needs to dry to less than 12% moisture content
Wood(meant to do that) you mind sharing where you source your wood? Your videos are epic. All your projects appear to be out a wood specie similar to timber frame wood. In Ohio it’s Douglas Fir or Red Oak. Great stuff sir.
🤣 Thank you very much. All over the place, from people who had trees fall down, golf courses, linemen, and I connect with local farmers who have old farm houses, barns and fences that need removal.
Hey man, i saw you do an unboxing setup of the King Canada KWL 1443VS Wood Lathe. Im looking at getting it. How is it ? Any pros n cons you can give me. I respect and trust your opinion on wood working

I wish I lived there and could work with you. I am interested in Turkey as an amateur. I'd love to come if you need help.😊😊
How long will it take for this wood to dry? Do you have a wood kiln?
I do not have a kiln. It's around a year per inch to air dry
What is the largest table that you have ever made and hom much did you sell it for ?
The largest dinner table was 12' long by 4' wide. Sorry I do not share my customers pricing
