My volume control works, but the channel control does not change reg TV stations. Did I miss something on the setup? If not, then what is that function for on the firestick controller?
Everyone has videos telling me how to set up, but i just wish ONE article or video would explain WHAT the Firestik is! Yes, i know it's been around for several years, but i ignored it. I suppose everyone just assumes you already what the damn thing is and does. But i honestly don't know what it does. Why would would someone want it? What options does it have for different uses? Is it just a way to stream things like Netflix? If so, why is that better than just using a streaming service on my TV, BluRay player or PS4?
Great video! I appreciate your sharing knowledge. We currently have Direct Tv and have found it's too expensive. The reason we use it is for my wife to have Korean channels. Is there anyway to stream Korean channels thru a firestick? We've been married 35 years so cutting direct tv and her Korean channels is not an option lol. Thanks again!!

Yes, you can still watch cable TV, if you must (ugh!). You'll just need to change the input on your television to the HDMI port that your Firestick is connected to in order to use it.
