FANTASTIC....I saw the 3 separate videos but I must say this is a great idea to have all three videos together. I am going to buy the Mission Power cable because I have been having problems with the Firestick and I didn't know what was causing this (on Amazon UK they have a third-party Power Cable but I plumped for the one you recommended as I have seen some negative reviews of the third party one). I really do think this cable will do the job that I want. Do you not think that the Firestick should have more storage than what it has? Great Video....keep on doing what you are doing. That's some really good information and how to. For applications installed on the usb storage, do they get updated automatically from the Amazon app store?

Do only certain apps transfer to the external drive? or can you store all your apps on the external drive so your firestick has only a couple apps on it? I currently am only able to save 3 or 4 apps to my external drive and everything else goes to my firestick. Am I doing something wrong? Great video and channel you have.
Only certain ones if you are installing from the amazon app store, but all if you install from aptoide. Do you have that app store installed? We have installers on patreon

I purchased the equipment you listed in your video, which are the fire stick 4K max, the 0TG adapter, and the mission USB power cable. When the fire stick 4K MAX formats the 2 TB storage, for the device storage, the new app are still being download to the fire stick 4K internal storage, and not the device storage that the fire stick TV 4K is formatting. Is there anything that can be done?
Did you try installing from aptoide? You might be selecting apps from the Amazon App Store that can't go to external. If you install the same apps from aptoide, they will
we don't know our passwords and are afraid of losing our stuff. can we discover our passwords or backup the fire stick or maybe transfer the data into a newer fire stick? we have two fire sticks and they are both very old with only 5 gig of space. i love your videos and im going to order some of this stuff from amazon. thanks for all of your help

How new of a TV does it have to be to be able to power the USB power supply? I think I remember older models may not be able to do this from a previous video...

Just make sure your tv has a USB port. If it doesn't, you can still use this with the power outlet
Hey, I did this and it works great. Most of the apps I add go on the memory stick. My question is, is there an app that would let me download videos or pictures to the firestick ( new 4k max with higher memory, or to the memory stick. Thanks again, your videos are a great help.

Got the equipment, set up as in your video, Still not detecting external storage. Not even getting the UNABLE TO READ USB DEVICE SCREEN. Can you advise?
We actually have some help videos for people that might have missed a step. Most issues are getting the wrong drive (we linked the correct one for you), or did not pre-charge the mission cable. Basic stuff. If you got the wrong drive, you may have to format it FAT32 separately, or replace is with the Seagate Slim One Touch

You use a 64Gb Thumbdrive in earlier examples. For the demonstration you use a 1Tb external drive. Is there a problem using a 1Tb thumbdrive? Do you recommend a specific 1Tb thumbdrive that performs better than others? How about mini-flashdrives?
You can use any size drive. But the larger thumb drives won't work well because of transfer rate. Stick with the ones we provided links to in the description section

You said to charge the power brick for 10 minutes. Can i completely install everything and just wait for 10 minutes before using it or do i just connect the hdmi to the tv and wait 10 minutes?
Use a power block to charge it 10 min before first use. Unless your usb is full power usb3 port

Did you watch our troubleshooting video we did? I would start there
I brought everything you recommended. I had trouble with hard drive being recognized. But i formatted it and then the fire stick recognized it. I then reformatted the hard drive with the fire stick. All seemed to work ok. But when i turned it on again the fire tv stick would not boot. I found out tha gwhen i took out the hard drive the fire tv stick would boot up. But when i put in the hard drive the fire tv stick would just die and i would get a blank screen. If i unhooked the hard drive it would boot up again. Looks like power adapter that plugs in usb on tv has not enough power to support hard drive. I tried a usb thumb drive and had the same results. Do you think i have a bad usb power boost device? I even tried swapping otg cable.
It’s a power issue for you. Either you didn’t pre-charge the mission power cable as required before first use, or your usb on your tv doesn’t supply enough power to keep it charged. Not sure which cause I’m not there
Please recommend another place to purchase the Toshiba 2TB external hard Drive. I can't seem to find one. Is this model discontinued? I was unable to find a hard drive that includes Television in the description. Please advise. Thanks.

I do have a question : Why did you choose this particular Seagate hard drive drive as they seem to have drive failures . I take it that we could use any basic hard drive that is USB3 ……
It’s the lowest power draw 2TB and has worked perfect for us. I’ve tried over a dozen drives and none worked. Either this low power draw, the Toshiba one, or go down to a small thumb drive (64gb or smaller) otherwise it will fail to work
When you use the Mission Power Cable and turn on the TV with TV remote, does it automatically turn on the Firestick?
As long as it's plugged into the TV USB port

I did it two years ago on the channel. Still valid. Much more work to do it properly. Max is designed to expand, not the cube
